  1. You love to hate the WR's and specifically Keon. You overrate and said he's immature etc based on McDermott's benching FOR ONE SERIES. Do you think if he was a problem in the locker room that he would only sit out one series? Do you know how fast Samuel is? Dalton Kincaid's avg is 14.4, Keon Coleman is 11. Shakir avg is 11 as well.. Josh is 9th in the league in yards per completion. Are you sure we don't have a downfield passing attack? PS we also have the number 2 RB in terms of yards in the NFL... maybe you need to fking relax and stop being so negative.. holy cow.
  2. Simple answer: You force him to where you know he wants to go and be there waiting for him. He would never flush to his left. You bait him into doing what he wants. It's the coaching staffs fault for having Jackson on the field. He looks lost, unathletic, and ill prepared.
  3. It's on you if you let 1 division loss by 3 playing the worst game we've played since Dorsey was here, affect you. I'm not sure if you're aware of this but no team since 1972 has gone undefeated. You are insane if you expected that.
  4. Dude, we lost 1 game and played the worst first half I've seen us play in 2 years. It was a division game. We do this every year. Josh has lost to Zach fking Wilson. Relax, holy cow.
  5. Got you, I updated and edited my original post. But yeah you're saying his "wear and tear" is significantly less over his career than a Barkley / Taylor, etc. I'd agree. My only concern with paying cook the whole time was now we're going to lose an OL this offseason (I believe McGovern and Edwards are up for contracts) and then... does that affect his production moving forward? This year was never a concern because we returned all 5 OL.
  6. No, not really. He's at 87 and Taylor, Irving, Jacobs, Barkley are at 90. He's top 7 in touches and only 3 away from being third. Odds are after this game he's number 2 in touches because number 2 right now is Kyren at 98 and he played last night.
  7. So because you don't like the guy you "opening your own eyes" and coming up with out of the blue reasoning (which isn't true) why metrics are wrong? Did you know that Coleman is actually targeted SIGNIFICANTLY more in man than zone (like 14% higher). Furthermore, can you point to more than 2 plays he's made in the NFL where he "just jumps over" guys? I think you need to "open your own eyes" a little bit more and not let your feelings for a draft pick affect your view on the player. Is he the best? Nope... but is he improving? Yes.. is he "just a big guy that jumps over them?" also no. If so, I have not seen it. Maybe I need to "open my own eyes" and REALLLLLLY look for him "just jumping over guys."
  8. No he won't. They finished 14-3 last year too. 22 was statistically his best year. He had only 6 INTs 3700+ passing yards 700+ rushing yards and 37 TDs... He was the reason his team was winning.. He is not the reason his team is winning anymore and that's reflected in his lack of MVP voting last year. Again, 12 QBs in the NFL win a SB with that team last year. You can't use a "for instance" when the EXACT SAME thing happened last year and he was no where near MVP convo's. QB's on the winningest team who win BECAUSE of the QB are in the convo.
  9. You literally gave some things of how the MVP is evaluated..... and again, Josh has the best avg of all of those things. Yes.. his team wins because of him, Hurts' does not. Clearly not because Hurts is never in these conversations. His team didn't win BECAUSE of him. Purdy threw for 4300 yards and 31 TD's 2 years ago. Hurts never threw for 4,000 and more than 23 TDs
  10. Because it's "Most Valuable Player" 12 QB's could have won a SB with that team last year. If you take Hurts off that team this year, they still make the playoffs and potentially go deep with quite a few QBs. The same can not be said for Buffalo, KC, etc
  11. What are you talking about? Because Josh has the best collective average of all of the above. You explained why he is in the front by thinking what you were asking is ground breaking and game changing. Context, hype, wins, stats, and MANY considerations (such as the ones you listed) and he has the best collective avg of all of them in the league.
  12. Why are you asking where a 2nd string TE is when we have one of the more productive TE's in the NFL starting right now??? Why would you want to involve your 2nd and 3rd RBs if you dont have to because you have a top 3 back in the league? Where is your thought process for these? Rapp not being noticeable.... is a good thing.
  13. Their linebackers looked great yesterday for sure. Meeting Henry in the hole, standing him up, flying to the ball... it was definitely impressive to watch Campbell and Anzalone yesterday
  14. You probably SUCK to be around at parties. Holy cow. It's a football thread and literally no one is anointing him anything. They are literally saying he played better than we expected and that he may get more reps now (as he seemingly earned them and outplayed Dorian)
  15. I think/ hope he's referring to Walker?
  16. I think he makes Gilliam disposable. He has no need to be on this team with Hawes. Hawes can line up at TE and FB and get him more snaps on the field. Someone like him should be on the field a good amount of time in 22 or 12 personnel Hawes is 100x more athletic than Lee Smith could ever dream of. They aren't the same except for their desire to get their nose dirty.
  17. Yeah he was miserable in the pre-season. He looked completely lost.
  18. Well, they won't have to cut him. He's a FA after this year.
  19. I think you're missing the point here and what has made Brady good. They wanted to defense the pass, so we ran.... we've never had that ability to pivot and win before. Agree. Pass game wasn't working, so we relied on the ground game (I know I just posted this above) but we've never had that ability to pivot / be flexible or we've had coaches that are too hard headed to realize one segment of the offense is off so you lean on the other. It's not that the passing game "didn't work" it's that they took it away and we were able to run. This is a win.
  20. Someone alluded to this before, I think in this thread. He has actual fans again. In San Diego/ LA, there just isn't a ton of die hard fans. Bosa went to OSU where the fanbase is as rowdy as Buffalo. I think he's feeling that energy again and to your point.. having fun and enjoying himself.
  21. 2021: 31st in points allowed 2022: 28th in points allowed and last in total yards allowed 2023: 23rd in points allowed and 19th in total yards allowed 2024: 7th in points allowed and 20th in total yards allowed You would be correct.
  22. Very fair point.
  23. Elijah Moore would be a surprise, especially with Shakir's injury. Do you think 1 drop makes someone a cut candidate? Why would you think he'll be cut? I keep seeing that Shavers made the team so Moore is going to get cut but they do not play the same position. So cutting or trading a 27 year old undrafted guy that had a good pre-season would show inability to make sound decisions? I feel like moving a guy like that and getting draft capital is the exact opposite... how many of those guys who shine in pre-season at 27 end up being contributors?
  24. Yeah , he’s not being cut. I’d be very surprised if he is. People lose their mind over the 1 drop he had but ignore the 7 other routes he ran that he was wide open on.
