Milano has a Pec Injury Timeline "we'll see" per Sean

Yeah he was miserable in the pre-season. He looked completely lost. -

Well, they won't have to cut him. He's a FA after this year. -
I think you're missing the point here and what has made Brady good. They wanted to defense the pass, so we ran.... we've never had that ability to pivot and win before. Agree. Pass game wasn't working, so we relied on the ground game (I know I just posted this above) but we've never had that ability to pivot / be flexible or we've had coaches that are too hard headed to realize one segment of the offense is off so you lean on the other. It's not that the passing game "didn't work" it's that they took it away and we were able to run. This is a win.

Joey Bosa signs with Buffalo. 1 year, $12.6 million
warrior9 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Someone alluded to this before, I think in this thread. He has actual fans again. In San Diego/ LA, there just isn't a ton of die hard fans. Bosa went to OSU where the fanbase is as rowdy as Buffalo. I think he's feeling that energy again and to your point.. having fun and enjoying himself. -
2021: 31st in points allowed 2022: 28th in points allowed and last in total yards allowed 2023: 23rd in points allowed and 19th in total yards allowed 2024: 7th in points allowed and 20th in total yards allowed You would be correct.

Very fair point.

Can you imagine if Beane had done this (‘22 draft)…
warrior9 replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
We literally don't know yet. -
Elijah Moore would be a surprise, especially with Shakir's injury. Do you think 1 drop makes someone a cut candidate? Why would you think he'll be cut? I keep seeing that Shavers made the team so Moore is going to get cut but they do not play the same position. So cutting or trading a 27 year old undrafted guy that had a good pre-season would show inability to make sound decisions? I feel like moving a guy like that and getting draft capital is the exact opposite... how many of those guys who shine in pre-season at 27 end up being contributors?

Joe Marino’s All 22 from Bucs preseason game
warrior9 replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Few things I noticed from the video- 1.) Hawes has to make the team as well. He's been incredibly consistent. 2.) Andreessen just seems sooooo lost in the run game. I don't see how he can make the team. -
Yeah , this. No need to us to risk Josh Allen's ACL against a guy fighting for his life to make a roster.

McDermott - "Still looking for that other safety"
warrior9 replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
That and him not being available. He continues to miss valuable reps. However, they took him off the field after a few series so I think he's the guy, still. -
McDermott - "Still looking for that other safety"

Yeah this was more of a "Someone step up" I don't think it means they are out in the market. Maybe if someone is cut but I don't know where that would come from. For depth and role players, yes. Every team has position battles for a starter somewhere in the league. He is obviously going to evaluate our weakest position. -
Could be right, for sure. Joe looked lost on that play as well. Complete break down.

Why would you want to stay outside? In man, inside leverage to the boundary is very standard. In man, he has no help inside and his only help is the boundary,
-
Yeah, this. Bishop starts 2 yards inside him, sprints to about 2 yards OUTSIDE of him. Leverage was absolutely awful. It's hard to really know what the issue is here: 1) This seems like basic level stuff for pro DBs. 2) Hopefully our safeties aren't asked to run a lot of man at the LOS against slot corners 3) He has missed significant time 4) We want these mistakes made in pre-season but this, again, seems like basic leverage concept. 5) Is the game too fast for him? 6) Are we over reacting to 1 pre season play?

He looks like an undrafted free agent to be completely honest. -
I didn't see this posted, Bills sign Safety Tre Herndon
warrior9 replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
There isn't trying to catch you anywhere. You quite literally said Max's scouting report said he couldn't tackle (or something along those lines) and I shared Tre White's pre draft scouting report which echoed the same. Meaning scouting reports can be wrong. You further cemented that by saying Elam had a very good scouting report but didn't pan out. So again, if you know scouting reports are not accurate, why are you judging how much you like a player by a scouting report? Edit: "It’s just when I hear a guy is not great at the point of attack against the run and is suspect at tackling, like all the scouting reports say, along with being injured, it smells like a 1st round reach." (this is your quote) And we've pointed out 2 scouting reports that are wrong -

Soooo, you are then agreeing that scouting reports aren't always accurate? So why are you basing your thoughts on a player based on a scouting report? -

Tre White.. turned out to be an All Pro. Max will be fine. -

Guess who's scouting report this is: Weaknesses Finesse cornerback with relatively slender frame. Physicality and play strength a concern from slot. Big-bodied slot targets will post him up in space and drive him off the line in run game. Tackles when necessary, but doesn't seek out contact. Less technique-oriented and more grabby from slot. Finished career with just six interceptions despite extensive playing time. Early anchor from off coverage caused struggles opening hips when receivers would stem and go. Recovery-quick but not recovery-fast. Texas Tech speedster Jakeem Grant gave him all kinds of vertical work in 2015 Texas Bowl. -

Same, amazing to me how many people are super happy with the deal. You lose one of your top OL, his production goes down. I've always been against paying RBs as the line dictates a lot of their performance. Examples of this run rampant. Swifts numbers before during and after the Eagles. Zeke's numbers after 2 OL left from Dallas. Murray after he left Dallas. Larry Johnson and others for the Chiefs after their OL retired. Saquon with a good line. He avg 4.5 yards per carry BEFORE contact. -
Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season game 1

Man, this is excellent from Hawes. Even after initial seal, he stayed engaged for another 10 years. Really encouraging and excellent stuff. With as much as Brady loves the jumbo / big sets, this has to have him drooling
