  1. MINE... F***ING.. TOO. I have probably watched that play 600 times. It's absolutely unbelievable. The ball went 40 yards in the air and wasn't but 13 feet off the ground and showed ZERO signs of coming down anytime soon.
  2. This is a god awful take. There are many many many many many many differencres. One is one of the best football coaches to ever walk on our planet and one is unemployed
  3. A really good friend of mine is from small town Miss (knows Favre) and this is not news to anyone that knows the family. He was basically a small town trailor park guy that just got famous but never let that side of him leave. He is widely regarded as a POS by many in Miss. (and has been forever).
  4. It's never a bad thing to have too much talent. It would benefit us in other ways, as well. We don't know what Milano is going to look like coming off that injury. Not even the slightest chance possible. Nickel and Safety do 2 very different things. Safety's rarely cover slot WR, play man, etc etc. Moving Taron to safety would be completely changing his skill set. THAT or he would just be a safety in the box and they'd have 2 more safeties on the field. nothing would change.
  5. That and 4 minorities were hired this cycle so they have nothing to complain about now.
  6. That's not true. He would still be the 3rd best linebacker, we play a nickel base defense. We have 1 all-pro in front of him and another potential all-pro in front of him and Taron Johnson is an All-pro. Taron plays the run pretty well and he won't be coming off the field. There are more than 2 ways around it, actually.
  7. It's almost as if... he's just not a good coach. He's been interviewed by 15+ teams and hasn't been hired. Something isn't clicking and this is a nothing story.
  8. Yeah, we had the #1 defense under Frazier and collapsed #4 defense under McDermott and collapsed.
  9. I absolutely agree with you, unfortunately. Because they're guys from the system and have learned from the same guy for years and there has been no sign under McDermott that change is accepted.
  10. I do believe this is one of McDermott's faults... to an extent. It's great for continuity, etc .. I get that but there has to be new faces, new ideas, new concepts, new coaches that are going to challenge and move the needle for us. It's been said on here 10000x about the definition of insanity.... and this is proving to be true. Keeping all of the same people in the building and on staff is not a recipe to 'get over the hump" hell, I dont think our special teams coordinator lost his job and they were atrocious this year.
  11. 1/10 take. Those guys were in their 20's at that time. Most of them are now head coaches and/or OC/DC's. So is your stance that position coaches aren't important and we can do without them? Just need OC, DC, STC? Or do you just not understand how the coaching hierarchy works on a day to day basis? I can help out if need be.
  12. I don't think you truly understand the in's and out's of coaching if this is the case: McDermott brings the coaches in: tells each position coach what he expects and their leverage, alignment, etc. on given plays/ concepts. It's then on them to go implement and teach it. Sure McDermott installs game plans and does film, etc but a LOT is on the position coaches. This might be one of the worst takes i've ever seen. This isn't high school football in WNY with 3 coaches on staff.
  13. That doesnt change the fact he isn't a great coach when the going gets tough. He simply does, has, and always will fold in critical situations.
  14. @NewEra Should he just get over it? Or can you finally answer "What makes you think McDermott can get us to the Superbowl?"
  15. He doesn't have Josh Allen.. He has a running QB that can't throw outside the numbers and is VERY limited throwing the ball... he also isn't a DC that has his Defenses fold in critical situations... These two are not linear.
  16. Hahahaha. where is there a tantrum? I’ve asked you 2 questions. You can’t answer them, so you deflect, name call and have excuses. literally picture perfect from someone who doesn’t even believe what their saying and knows they're wrong. I'm sure you are REALLY fun at parties and a great conversationalist, bubba!
  17. I've asked you several questions and you haven't answered. So "Get over it" and telling someone on a football forum discussing their head coach is "crying and whining" isn't juvenile? interesting take bubbaccino .. let's try again: -What makes you think we can win a SB with McDermott? -What big games has he won? (No play off games against Skylar, Mason Rudolph, Mac Jones, don't count) Jesus, I hope so.
  18. So we should just accept that our head coach can't win big games? You're ok with NEVER winning a super bowl with Josh Allen at QB? Or is that whining and crying too? You're cool with participation trophies? LMFAO! Our offense needs to stop scoring... WTF? Do you hear yourself....? You're also making excuses.. Josh needs to stop scoring so fast because our Head Coaches defense cant stop the offense LOL
  19. Got it, so discussing on a FOOTBALL forum.. about OUR TEAMS head coach... and his short comings using actual subjective instances is whining and crying? So we should all be happy that our head coach who is our defensive coordinator can't win a big game?
  20. What makes McDermott a good coach? His defenses have CRUMBLED when it matters most, why is this hard to understand ? Has Andy Reid's offense routinely failed in big stages? Has Sean McVay's? No, McDermott's defense does as a routine Loser's mentality. "Get over it" because we go to the playoffs is settling. We will not and have not and never will win a big game / SB with McDermott as our HC We may never see another player like Josh Allen in a Bills uniform, our coach can't get us over the hump and you're response is "get over it" hahahahaha.
  21. McDermott is 1-5 in Play off games against QBs that dont have a back up QB. What big game has McDermott won?
  22. No, the defense has failed when it mattered most. No the defense wasn't short. It lost Milano.. every team deals with injuries. we brought in Rasul Douglas who was better than Tre. Yeah? How far did that get us in the post season against good teams? He cant win big games. Using this same logic. Tua is the QB of the future of Miami, yeah? 1st in yards and points?
