  1. This a joke? Hamlin is absolutely horrid.
  2. I do not hate TCU, you just have a weird hard on for them. I am a realist and I watched them play in person twice last year. Just because they win very close games does not make them "FAR" better than everyone. Again, they won a lot of VERY close games so they were not far better than everyone. No rational person would look at their win margins last year and say "far better" Your mind is so colluded with TCU last year that you legit thought Quentin Johnston would be the best receiver in the draft.
  3. My worry with this, just like the offense... even if he does, his influence will be allllll over it. He just can't help his conservative nature. Winning the game? Run the clock out... Winning the game? soft cover 2 He doesn't coach to win... he coaches not to lose. He can bring in Rex Ryan and still find a way to make it a conservative defense up by 10 in the 4th. It hasnt suffered... he's always been this bad.
  4. And we did just fine without him. If he wants to come off the field, should the coaches make him stay on the field?
  5. No they were just third downs early on. As an above poster mentioned, he signaled to come off. Him coming off on those third downs didn't affect us negatively IIRC.
  6. Lol this isn't true at all.. They beat Baylor by 1(Baylor was horrible) , Texas by 7 (6-4) , TTU by 10 (4-6) OK St by 3 in OT. Then lost to KSU. They were hardly "far better than anyone" however, you have a massive hard on for TCU's team in 2022
  7. Whoever suggested we drafted Quentin Johnston this past draft should stay absolutely quiet.
  8. His team is losing more often, hence he throws more.. Herbert isn't elite until he wins. Josh has won every year minus his first and this (and this year is still TBD). They've tried multiple HC's, multiple OC's etc because Herbert is "elite" and no one can win with him? Ok.... tell me more.
  9. Except for the fact that Herbert has done nothing to be anointed “elite.” He’s a media darling because he’s tall and throws the ball far. He has won nothing and doesn’t have the wins/ stats of an elite QB. Traits? Sure. So do a lot of QBs. Josh has been in the MVP running, he’s been to the AFCCG. He’s won 3 division titles in a row. Herbert can’t sniff that and I can’t believe people still think this guy is elite.
  10. It wouldn't have mattered who the head coach was is. They mortgaged their entire future to draft the wrong QB and everyone knows who the coaching staff wanted. You can't bring in a fragile QB like that trade away his only weapon AND picks to build a team and expect to win. They were an FCS team playing FBS every week. Tepper mortgaged the future at the opposition of his staff and he scapegoated the HC, it's pathetic really.. Similar to McDermott here, scapegoated the OC only to give up 40 on defense.
  11. If I were to guess, they had ran that play and assumed the defense was in ZC. Motioning Diggs gets another blocker at the POA but seems like Jets either audibled or were disguised and in man.
  12. Well good hting I was talking to a guy that lives in North Texas and also has no state income tax!
  13. The funny thing about all of this is Josh is having the lowest percentage of turnover worthy throws in his career with the highest completion percentage. This means that balls are being dropped, interceptions happening aren't on Josh, etc, etc.
  14. I am here and it's not bad at all? I don't understand? I, for one, really enjoy no income tax. Just for clarification: I would not trade spots at all. I think CJ Stroud's play right now is not going to last. I'm just trying to understand the Texas hate as a location to live.
  15. Did you GENUINELY have these thoughts running through your mind all day and say, "You know what? I'm going to make a thread about an absolutely terrible head coach and someone that couldn't win 7 games with Patrick Mahomes in the Big 12 and suggest the Bills hire him!" and then actually press, "submit" after putting the words on to your computer and rereading them?
  16. This defense was unreal until we lost 2 all-pros, 1 potential all pro, benford, and hyde (this week). I give the defense a pass due to injuries.. the offense is inexcusable.
  17. No, this isn't high school. You have 4 good players on offense. You don't sit one for a quarter and a half. It HELPED? We didn't score in the first quarter. James Cook was going to run like that whether he was benched or not, he's a professional football player. It absolutely destroyed the team and our efficiency. This isn't fking peewee football you don't "that'll show him" your starting running back for a fumble when your team is CLEARLY on the down slope. Why don't we bench Josh after INT's then ? McDermott then had the balls to stand up there and say "Fumbling isn't in a running back's job description" OHHH but "Not having your team prepared on final plays of drives" is in head coaches job description?
  18. I do, in fact, watch games bubbaccino. But the fact you're saying we missed on Phillips by taking Groot is hilarious. Groot is better in most aspects of the game of football than Phillips. LOL .. .exactly ... Don't worry, he doesn't "just look at stats" though and watches all the games ... but doesn't know when each was picked and that Groot is infinitely better than Philips. If anything, Miami missed.
  19. That's not what you said. You said "an elite edge rusher would transform our defense" All I'm saying is, that's as obvious as saying "An elite QB would translate an offense." There just aren't many and they are hard to find. I obviously agree with you but the statement is the same for every team in the NFL if you don't have one.
  20. In what sense? How is anyone having an impact on one of the worst defenses in the NFL? He has 3.5 sacks this year. Do you watch football or are you just picking names and saying they're better for the sake of it?
  21. You can say that about any team in the NFL that doesn't have one. It's like saying 'a great QB would really transform this offense'
  22. This is not going to change anything. Dobbins tore his Achilles on grass, injury yesterday, grass... chubb's injury, grass. Injuries are going to happen no matter what. The surface isn't the problem.. If you look at a still photo of when Rodgers tore his achilles, again, not the turfs fault. That has been debunked. The bigger issue here is guys are getting bigger, faster, and stronger, AND they don't hit in practice. This is why injuries decrease as season goes on. You can't go to a practice in training camp, barely hit, barely go 100% on cuts, hits, cut blocks, etc. Then randomly go against athletic freaks, cut on a dime, change direction on your ligaments, and get hit full force and expect there to be no injury.
  23. @JMM How those uhhhh , those national pundits and "good information" people you've got lookin for ya? Wasn't on the market at all, not even close.
