If Baker hits FA, i could see him going with the Raiders or the Pats......just my opinion.

I tried watching it, i really did, but wow, is it bad.....like, i mean really bad football.

Well, it wasn't injuries on the O when we were making a run into the playoffs. It wasn't injuries on the O playing against KC in the post season this year. It wasn't injuries that caused Diggs to drop passes. The injury excuse is not credible to me......championship teams find a way to win. Now, injuries on the D is a different matter, however, on the last series against KC, it was our O on the field, not the D.....so what else you got?

I could honestly see him going to the Jets, the Pats or KC.....you heard it here first, folks.

The shameful part is that he's going to go to another franchise and be a major contributor. I think Gabe has alot of potential and we never really tapped into all of it here. He had flashes of brilliance here and there, but wayyyyyyyyy too sporadic to ever pay him top dollar. I'm sure a different team will groom him into a solid #2.

I agree with this analysis. I've followed him all throughout college and his play style and physique are spectacular for college ball, but in the NFL he is considered slow and undersized....when he hits the draft, he should go no earlier than the 3rd round.

A TD with almost 2 minutes on the clock and full timeouts to hand back to Mahomo to work his magic and we think we were in any position to win that game, when our D could do nothing all game long? The way i see it, we were losing that game no matter what we did.

All good points, sir...however, do you pay the man at contract time or let him walk? Are you going to pay him for what he has done, for what he is or what he might do? Each of these possibilities provide a different number at contract time and are we willing to pay for what he might become, when we have already seen what he is.....any of this making sense to you?....lol.

Now, i'm not saying the league is "fixed" or "rigged", but go back and watch any KC footage and tell me you don't see blatant holding on every play that doesn't get called....it's a friggin disgrace and it's sooooooo obvious. It's actually turned me off of the NFL right now. I'll still watch the Bills every week, but i don't watch near as much football as i used to.

I'm not saying anything negative about Cook....i've followed him since college (followed him, as in his college career, not stalking....lol). He has the tools, the speed and the elusiveness to be something special in this league, however, with the King on the roster, it instantly gains respect from opposing D's. You stack the box to cover the King and JA throws....how D's would honestly game plan from week to week, is beyond me and automatically makes our O a threat on every play. Cook needs time to develop further and hopefully our HC and FO puts the time in and the effort to create an honest run game every week....not just from time to time, which we've seen them do. They need to emphasize the run game and give Cook his touches. Now, with both on the roster, it becomes a "thunder and lightning" combo.....

What?!? So, he's more dynamic when he's doing his juking and shaking behind the line and falls at defenders feet cause he don't wanna get hit? He's more explosive when he decides to actually do something and not fall at defenders feet. He has better hands, does he?!?......seems to drop everything coming his way. And you figure at this point of his career, that Cook is the better RB?!?......my god, man....at this point in his career, Cook and the King shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence until Cook has even come marginally close to what the King can do on the field. Wow....give me the King all day, any day, every day. I feel a little dumber for having read anything you've written.......thank you.

It's a good write-up, however, you lost me when you said Alabama.....

No matter how much you polish that turd, a turd is a turd. There's no question we need higher caliber players on the roster. Besides, JA, there really is no one to carry the team. * Diggs is getting older and may have lost a step and i think it's starting to show. * I love Cook....loved him in college, but find the hole and hit it, man. Stop juking and jiving behind the line (like a poor man's Reggie Bush) and for christs sakes, don't be afraid to take a hit. Don't even get me started on his hands and dropped balls......ugh. * Kincaid is going to be a stud. He would be about the only one right now that i would put somewhere even close to the caliber of JA, but he's a few years out from his full potential. * Knox?....sometimes has flashes of brilliance, but overall, underwhelming. * Davis is too inconsistent.....move along, nothing to see here. * The entire O line is hit or miss from week to week, but when they do show up, my god the opportunities they create are astounding, however, it's few and far between. We need playmakers on O and it's not even debatable.

I'll give you the same answer that this franchise has been giving its fans for the past 60 years...........maybe next year.

You see what playing football without a helmet does?.....i'm a mess.

Saw it about 3 years ago when it came out.....i ended up fast forwarding alot of it cause some of it is just too painful and i don't want to re-live some of that.

No way does any team want Diggs with that attitude and contract baggage.

Go back and see some of the footage before QB's were protected so much these days. It was brutal warfare going on against the QB's....low hits, chop blocks, guys getting their legs rolled up on, hits to the head, etc. Many of a QB careers were cut short due to the beatings.

That's right and who got the better of that deal?

.....and some get worse. Some people either don't change with the times or refuse to change their mental philosophies to keep up with the current ongoing situations, whether by stubbornness or just an ill refusal of change in general. Some just keep plodding away with the same mentality that it has worked in the past, so eventually it may work in the future. We've all seen coaching philosophies that have failed over the years, we've all seen philosophies evolve with the times and situations....coaches that realize the need to change, grow and evolve are the ones hoisting the Lombardi year in and year out. Coaches that are stubborn and refuse to change, grow and evolve are left by the wayside. We see it on "Black Monday" every year.
