  1. I got lost driving through Jacksonville one time a few years back and wow, i saw some garbage, underbelly seedy sections of town.......told my wife to roll up the windows, lock the doors and don't make any eye contact with any of the filthy degenerates wandering around. The whole place was just gross. To this day, i still can't believe they would ever put a stadium and a football franchise anywhere near that **** hole.
  2. Have you ever seen Jacksonville, i mean actually been there and seen it?........the whole place is a cesspool.
  3. The guy has barely seen the field in 2 years........i'd say 8mil is a little much
  4. That seems like a lot of money for a guy who's blown his tire twice.....
  5. Yeah, these poor, poor coaches making millions of dollars a year getting fired and seemingly finding another coaching job the next day is very unfortunate.........my friggin heart bleeds for them.
  6. ........2nd best with nothing to show for it is the definition of mediocre, with a hint of inept.
  7. I'm happy that you are satisfied with mediocre, however, i expect a little more, so.....
  8. Whatever benefits KC will be what they go with
  9. Correct.......throw in a HC with piss poor clock management, plays not to lose, plays scared and a D that folds like a cheap suit and you're on the right track.
  10. Here's how my brain envisions an onside kick...... Reminds me of lil Ralphy in the Simpsons.... "I heard your dad went into a restaurant and then he ate everything in the restaurant and then they had to close the restaurant".......we're going to do an onside kick, the refs and the other team knows there's an onside kick, so everybody prepares for an onside kick. It's got excitement written all over it.......the suspense is killing me. UGH
  11. I think the pressure Mcd is feeling is that he consistently puts a good D on the field every year, however, it consistently fails every year......for a D minded HC, that has to be rough. The D fails year after year, and he seemingly has very little answers.
  12. And yet, how many times can you focus on the D and just have it completely collapse year in and year out? No lead is safe with this team, as we've seen countless times. I know everybody likes to praise him cause he helped get us out of 18 years with no playoffs, but when does the accountability start? He has only proven that he can get us into the playoffs, nothing more. I am starting to agree with some posters on here that we should have a high-flying caliber O and throw up as much points as possible and let the D fend for themselves.
  13. The O didn't play well in the 2nd half that's true, however, even with mistakes they played well enough to win. The D had another one of its monumental collapses. Like come on, it's not like the Texans were a powerhouse. Our D was ranked in the top 5 that year and held Houston to zero points in the first half. Then the 2nd half comes along with zero adjustments (which McD never does) and we're a sieve and giving up 19 straight points to lose the game. How anyone could ever defend this clown is beyond me.
  14. Well, when a HOF multiple SB winning HC says it, then it sounds believable, acceptable and meaningful. When McClappy says it, he sounds like a whiny little *****, with zero answers and trying to show some self-justification to the media and why he should keep his job.
  15. I like the look of our O......i think who we've got on the roster so far is manageable, however, we still need a few pieces, like WR, depth RB, blah, blah, blah. What really terrifies me is our D......falls apart and collapses in big moments and i don't see much in the way of improvement so far.
  16. Did the O play perfect against the Texans?.......no, but they still had the team up by 16 points at the half. Watch the game again and you'll see the monumental collapse of the D in the 2nd half. It was totally and utterly disgusting. All the D had to do was hold on to the lead......just stop something, which they couldn't.......which is what Bills fans expect every time the D takes the field.
  17. The guy always played well against us........we pick him up and.......nothing to write home about. I think it was just another case of being mis-used, mis-managed or age/injury catching up with him. Enjoy your retirement.
  18. All i know is that the NFL Network has been running continuous "classic" games lately and unfortunately, our Bills have been the brunt of some real turd burners. * 13 seconds.........ugh * the collapse against the Texans in our divisional round a few years back.......up 16 points at the half and then a total meltdown in the 2nd. * the collapse against the Vikings........giving up 4th and 18 to JJ and losing the game miserably. * Hail Murray .......just to name a few. In every one of these games, it was the D that lost the games. The O played just well enough to win, however, the D had a meltdown every time and gave up the ghost. As fans, it's disgusting to watch the collapse because we all know that no lead is safe with this HC. For a Defensive HC that prides himself on being current and "on the ball", he has a lot to prove this season. Is he on the "hot seat"?.....no, but he should be.......he definitely should be.
  19. The only player i would throw draft picks on is MHJ......if that's out of the realm of possibility, then you just let it go and let the draft come to you.
  20. I just can't get into this..........sorry, not sorry.
  21. Do they figure the older players are going to break a hip?!?
  22. I agree, however, stretching the field doesn't always apply to 30-40 or even 50 yards downfield.....it can still be designed and game planned for 10-20 yards with outside slants and crossing routes mixed in. The underneath and middle can be managed by the TE's and Cook, while the longer routes can be done with Diggs and our rookie WR, but as i say, that doesn't necessarily mean that these "longer" routes will be massive chunks of yardage. It does seem that the intermediate and underneath yardage is the way the game is designed these days, however, you still have to attempt at stretching the field to set up the play action. Also, with the way that JA creates plays "on the fly", having guys being able to run downfield is a huge bonus for us, as he has shown that if the play is there, he will take it. If you have guys that can stretch the field AND play tight in the middle for the underneath yardage, you are basically forcing the D to pick their poison. With the proper play-calling, you are telling the D that it's going to be hard to defend both, so which one are you going to defend. Having guys that can stretch the field creates option, which is something this team desperately needs to compete going forward IMO. Remember the 90's Bills?.......Thurman Thomas and Andre Reed managed the slots, the underneath and intermediate yardage, while Lofton stretched the field which in turn created mismatches for opposing D's.......10 minutes into each game, they didn't know what to defend anymore......play the middle and Lofton plays the stretch, play the stretch and then dump into the middle or the slot to Reed or Thomas. They had options, which is what we need.
  23. Titans are building themselves quite a reputable franchise over there these days.
  24. McConkey is a gadget player, we don't need any more of those......we've got Cook, Kincaid and Knox that can open up the middle. We need guys that can stretch the field.
