  1. Agree with most of your points. Why not let Edmunds walk? The good teams find a way to neutralize him and run up the score. I think he’s a good player, but we need scoring power more. Can we pay him $20 million and improve our offense to Lombardi caliber? Nay.
  2. Maybe but no. If JA17 had the O lines of KC and Cincy, he would be a genius. Cmon, UKBill, he’s running and gunning from the snap. However, I submit that Dorsey needs to scheme quick and short passes and screens.
  3. Does someone have the Rod Sterling clip?
  4. I bet there are 20 something head coaches and OCs that could do better with JA17, even with this talent level on offense. It’s too bad that Josh has endorsed Dorsey, and our HC will not interfere. Other coaches would’ve used Cook and Hines in successful schemes, and JA17 would be told to throw quicker to shorter routes. Maybe because of friendship, I don’t think Dorsey will do that. Josh shouldn’t be given the freedom he has. Both need to learn from the GOAT. Hopefully, both will be better next year.
  5. Mahommes is a good dude. Very humble. It was very evident in the post game interview with their TE yapping with nose snot.
  6. I think I see your point, but haven’t flags been picked up on the grounds of being uncatchable???
  7. I can’t think of another sport where officiating plays a larger role. There were several catch plays that were confirmed or over ruled with review. DPI and holding prolly requires the most judgement and can’t be reviewed. I don’t think it should be. Could you imagine it they were. That game would still be going. Questionable calls have been and will be part of the game. However, that flag should’ve been picked up because the ball was uncatchable.
  8. So do that 4xs for first downs 😳
  9. Hey Giulio: I’m Chris, 68, and live in God’s country, Ga. Married a girl from Buffalo, whom I met in Brussels when traveling after college. Just retired after 45 years as an educator. Became a Bills fan while doing grad school at UB in the 80s. Our 2 sons are part of Bills maffia too as their first NFL game was at Rich. Love your country best. I did Europe on $5 a day (or 5000 lira, lol). I took a freight train in the livestock car from Florenza to Roma. Love your posts. I was wondering if you actually live in Italy. Now I know. How did you become a Bills fan? Blessings!!
  10. Cmon, this is most important draft since drafting Bruce since we need to protect the most important player since Bruce. Now that’s a new thought. Lol.
  11. JA17 really needs to be more like Brady and use more shorter, easy passes. Never saw the GOAT being reckless with the ball. Maybe he never had to. It’s many small paper cuts vs fling it and sling it. Both do their thing better than most - but Tom’s thing (aka - “system”) gets better results.
  12. Cmon guys, the key to next year and the years after is JA17. I’m a huge fan, but he must flip the script: change from 50% short and intermediate passes and 50% long passes to 75% short and intermediate passes and 25% long passes. I would recommend that he overloads on film study of Brady and Montana if he wants to be among the best someday. Also, don’t remember these two taking the hits. JA17 must flip the script. Otherwise, when the dust settles in 10 years he will be in the category with Fonts, Rivers, and Marino instead of Brady and Montana. Sure he needs a better O line, but shorter, quicker passes would work wonders. Can someone tell his supervisors to write this into his job description??
  13. Let’s see: how many elite RBs and WRs did he have; BUT, always had one of the best O lines. Hmm, what can we learn from this?
  14. This is a good argument to make the offense top priority (ie - line, RB, WR).
  15. A short game passing and running would force secondary to move up, and then drop a bomb on em. Also, a short, quick passing scheme would compensate for weak pass protection. Didn’t the sub-pro O line prevent creativity since JA17 was running for his life??
  16. Agree 95%. Your comparison of Levy with peer coaches has some similarity; however, I wonder if some other style of coaching would’ve worked with that cast of characters. It’s only a maybe that Parcells and Gibbs could’ve gotten a ring. The present coach is safe and he knows it. If his job was at risk, he might make some changes. I don’t see him doing much house cleaning, and he’s the only one who can do it, but he won’t. He thinks the problem is something other than coaching. He’s both a players’ coach and a coaches’ coach. That is the culture he believes in. No changes. Just watch.
  17. Totally agree. For most of our wins, the offense masked the D shortcomings. When offense struggled (like yesterday) the team looked average, and the D gets exposed. Really same story for 3 years. I agree with many that offense changes are priority #1. Should see at least 4 new starters on offense. Tweak the D and we can roll. Maybe use Maine or Tre to get a premier wr.
  18. Yes retool/rebuild, let the young guys on D line mature. Von makes the whole D better. Gotta keep Maine. Get the best O lineman early in draft. Also a wr. Pick up another O lineman in middle rounds. Throw in a couple free agent secondary players, and we can win AFCE again if we don’t get those dreaded injuries again. Without injuries this year, we would’ve brought home the trophy!
  19. Truth. I wanna see some check downs to #28 so he can burn baby burn!
  20. If we don’t hoist the Lombardy, this will be the most often lament … however, I think the current D is better than last year’s, at least 13 seconds better 😎
  21. 2 hours for this Ga Boy in Augusta 🏌🏻‍♂️
  22. Boom!! The truth will set you free. Great analysis again, Alpha. With or without Von, we gotta score early and often against Cincy and/or KC, and we can do it. Go Bills!!
