Don’t agree with the comparison. Every team game plans to shut down Diggs. Sometimes they do because no one else scares them. Agree that Hill can take it to the house often, but our guy is easier to scheme double team, double zone, because no one else scares them. Shakir was getting a lot of those targets because of the D shift to Diggs. Must get a WR in the draft.

Here’s a theory: seems that many QBs know whom they will throw to pre-snap, and the receiver knows it too. It’s a readiness thing. Whereas, JA17, is making his decisions post-snap, and he is improvising as he looks at his options. None of the receivers have an idea until the ball is coming at them. Yes, they should all be ready and they should catch the ball if it hits their hands. However, if I know I’m going to be the target from the get-go, then I’m ready. Nice theory, huh?

Good thoughts. We’re all frustrated but I’m proud we got the AFCE after being 6-6. Sure they never should’ve been 6-6 but they played for the coach so his message must still be relevant. If we would’ve finish 8-9 or 9-8 I would be right with you, even with an injury riddled season. Focusing on that last drive, I do wonder if JA17 has too much autonomy. He wouldn’t do that to the GOAT coach. Brady wouldn’t have done that. He had more situational awareness. A TD with 1:30 left is not good strategy. It seems that JA17 has rope to free lance. It works 60% of the time, but that throw at that time is inexcusable.
