Get in shape and elevate if an injury happens. I think Poyer passes Hamlin on the depth chart by October.
-
Hyde was still over coming injury that was probably career ending. I’ll take what Poyer currently is on the field over Hamlin. Hamlin never had juice, Poyer just doesnt have the same juice.
-
Hold on. He isnt All Pro anymore, but he is an upgrade over Hamlin if schemed a similar way. Hamlin isnt doing anything exotic in coverage. Poyer is more physical, more instinctive. I think he still has more juice than Hamlin. Now you cant use him like we used to but protect him a bit with scheme and I think he is a solid depth player.

I think Gable not being ready stops that from happening. No reason to trade a guy who makes the team for late day 3 picks when trying to win a chip. This goes for the Wrs too. Why trade Samuel. Keep all 3. Week 4-6 the Bills at some depth. I like it. Couple preseason heros still in the cards for PS

Antoine Winfield Sr next?

Can you imagine if Beane had done this (‘22 draft)…
Mat68 replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
They drafted a top 10 cb in 22. Who cares when? -
Still 2ish weeks. If White and /or Hairston can practice this week or the start of next week CB is not as dire as some thought. Nobody wanted Jackson lining up with Benford vs Baltimore. This imo is a good sign.
-
Hopefully, thats a good sign for White and or Hairston.

First rd pedigree even if over drafted carries weight. Mike White has bounced around the bottom of rosters. I dont see a trade market for White. He is not much more than Buechel. Might as well roll with him
-
I think he could be a mentor to Walker. Similar styles. For 6 weeks before Ogunjobi they are not rolling with 2 rookies and Carter as the reserve DT. I think Carter is in a tough spot. Phillips was the better player last year. I dont think Carter has shown anything to change that. Maybe trade him for a young Db or a 4th or 5th rd pick.

Joe Marino’s All 22 from Bucs preseason game
Mat68 replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe. I think you let him be Godzilla for 10-15 plays a game. Good or bad create havoc inside. If he gets beat up by a double team at least he held up the other lineman from making the second level. Im not sure he needs to do more than that. Be a real ass kicker. Keep him fresh to unleash on interior olines. I think Sanders has a shot to be very good and sooner than later replace Daquan Jones. Immediately on passing downs with Sanders and Oliver with Rousseau and Bosa is the best 4 Buffalo has had in a long time. -
DT was a need. Seems like a need based pick and not the best player available. Maybe best available DT but so far not great.
-
Problem? No. I think it’s 50/50. This may not sound like a bad thing but could be what keeps him off the roster. He is a better WR than he is a special teams player. I don't think the special teams coach pegs him as one of his core guys. He is a willing body but not a center piece. I think Shenualt could be. Returner and coverage. I think the locker room is behind Shavers. I favor offense and defense over teams but at spot 51,52,53 you best play teams and make an impact doing it.
-
Idk. I feel like the Bills match up better vs the Chiefs. Also, Baltimore there is no surprise in what they are. Zone read Henry and Lamar. Get the defense to come up and play-action over the middle.
-
I cant believe both years I was more worried about the Baltimore match up than the Chiefs.
-
Thats the question. Bottom 53 or veteran PS. Either way Dwayne Carter seems to be on the bubble. Whether he is on the roster or possible trade candidate.
-
Not opposed to Hamler over Moore.
-
I could see him as the 53rd guy. I would cut Codrington, keep Cairlo. I like his instincts in coverage. Moves like a safety. Much more in the style of Benard and Milano than any other linebacker on the roster. I think he is instantly a core special teamer, and after a few weeks in the system the best reserve coverage linebaker.

Joe Marino’s All 22 from Bucs preseason game
Mat68 replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
No. Walker is making splash plays but also losing plays. Sanders losses are stalemates. Sanders is more consistent. I would expect Sanders to play double the snaps as Walker. In those 10-15 snaps I think Walker can be a big disruptor on the line. I think fatigue will make the negative plays for Walker more pronounced. -
True. A first for Diggs, a third for the ghosts of Cooper and Benjamin. He isnt afraid of trading picks. You’re not finding a talent like Parson in 26 or 27. The core is pretty well locked in. The cap is about to balloon. If there was ever a time it is now.
-
I miss remembered. 1 first. Still would do multiple for Parson. Possible DPOY, superbowl MVP caliber player.
-
Diggs was traded for 2 first rd picks. Parson right now is better player than Diggs was in Minnesota. Why wouldnt Beane trade 2 first and more for a better player.
-
He gave up 2 1st for Diggs. Parsons is a tier or 2 higher than Diggs. Parson has been All Pro. Might be the most physically gifted player on defense in the NFL. 6-3 250 plus runs 4.3.

It’s against the CBA to not negotiate with the agent. Jerry is was always will be a snake.

These guys needed to be better. Rode a chart to the locker room(front seat) charted off (back of chart)
