  1. Mahomes played his best individual game in 3 years imo. Still trailed the whole way and not enough. I feel like they are in trouble this season. The 1 score game stat will regress to .500 and they will be a 10 win team. Buffalo wins Sunday Night they win Home field.
  2. This isn't for any surprise move. Allows Buffalo to function through the season with call ups and in season signings.
  3. 27-23 Buffalo makes enough plays on defense. Milano or Benard get a pick six on a tip pass. Confidence level is 4/10.
  4. Also heard Ricard is questionable. Imo Baltimores scariest package is 22 with Likely, Andrews, Richard and Henry with Bateman or Flowers. Forces you to load the box and they can displace you with size or take advantage behind the second level. Not having that plays into Buffalos nickel defense.
  5. Assume Phillips takes Carter roster spot and Gabe takes Phillips spot on practice squad.
  6. They (Bills Media) don't break anything. No one was aware Carter tore his achilles? Unless he is the toughest human of all time you don't simply walk off the field. Might as well all be paid NFL employees at this point. Just an extension of the Bills PR department.
  7. He would be DT 5
  8. I agree. Logue and Phillips offer as much maybe more than Carter at this point.
  9. What do the local reporters do? Everything news worthy comes from national guys. Crickets all weekend. Hard to believe with the Ravens in 7 days the team has the weekend off.
  10. Hard to believe it took that long. Was there practice this weekend?
  11. Jordan Phillips or Zion Logie week 1?
  12. I think he would be a very good 3rd Safety. Could return if needed. Better as a box player but athletic enough to play center field. Comes down to money and fit. I see it as a big improvement over Hamlin. Possible sub package player as well. I like him more than Dugger.
  13. Because they might want more than rotational depth. This being announced means they have a deal they would take but want to see if anyone would beat it. Or the team that lost wants him to go to a different team imo.
  14. Ed Oliver, Curtis Samuel, 2026 First Rd, 2026 Third Rd, 2027 First Rd and a 2028 2nd Rd that becomes a 1st with Superbowl appareance in 2025 or 2026 seasons. for Micah Parson and a 2026 4th Rd pick, 2027 Third rd pick
  15. I think the elements that make them “iced out” will play better in person. Easy to read on tv and from a far. Close up alot of cool detail. Bills Mafia in the collar. Snow flake/ice on the shoulders. 100% getting one.
  16. Top 5 offense improved outside. Defensive line revamped and a healthy second level improves the overall defense.
  17. 100% of the hate against Poyer imo is he was beat by Cook for a TD. Prime Po doesn't catch him either. Im not sure many understand how much the coverage changed with Hamlin on the field. He was hid. Created the worst pass defense I can remember this team having. Dick Jauron bad. Poyer is healthy and I would rather him on the field. If used like Hamlin last season, his instincts and physicality shrink those windows. Poyer to me is Hamlin insurance.
  18. Poyer was the higher rated player in 24. I know PFF isn't the gold standard it is a public grading system though. Also Poyer was still being used in multiple ways in 23 and last year with Miami. I would use Poyer here the way they used Hamlin. Buffalo schemed around Hamlin due to his limitations. Poyer on the field even if he is playing dummy D to start will catch Hamlin.
  19. I would like some new young blood. The bottom was pretty bare.
  20. Slow washed Jordan Poyer still graded out better than Damar Hamlin last season. Poyer and Hamlin were not tasked to do the same things. Hamlin was much more schemed around in a manner that hid his limitations. In a similar reserve role I think Poyer would perform noticeably better than Hamlin. Im not saying he is brought in to start. If there is an injury I would much rather play Poyer than Hamlin. This is what bottom of the roster depth is. Sure up liabilities best you can. No different than Jordan Phillips. I could argue Phillips was the best DT on the field vs the Chiefs. He is in direct competition with Carter. 2 guys for next to nothing can walk in and in a few weeks improve depth at positions. Long term neither are answers. Both positions have young players in prominent roles. Short term viable options compared to both guys coming off a poor camp and preseason Dwayne Carter and Damar Hamlin. Better showings neither signings would be news worthy.
  21. None. Strange is funny being Bill’s last 1st rounder with the Pats. Mcvay saying the Rams scouted him for pick 101 on draft night is never not funny looking back.
  22. Best reserve DT are a pair of rookies. Best reserve safety is a rookie. Phillips and Poyer help Sanders, Walker and Hancock. They are also pushing Carter and Hamlin who had the worst preseasons of any Bill that made the roster. Win/win. Once in football shape I think both replace Carter and Hamlin barring some change in there play.
  23. I dont think Poyer is brought back if they are happy with Hamlin. Casts too large a shadow. Hamlin will play teams but if an injury happens I think Poyer starts the following week over Hamlin.
  24. Hancock looks to be very promising. I think the Bills are like me and Hamlin hasnt improved as a player. Team needs a guy who can call the defense if Rapp goes down. At this stage Poyer is the best option available.
