  1. I think his play over the years has earned his spot on the roster and in the rotation. But he isnt a rookie anymore. His work over the summer and in practice has put him on the field. This season he hasn’t taken advantage of it. He is at the produce stage. By looking like the weak spot of the group on the field he is firmly in consideration to be waived when the suspension is up. Through 4 games Solomon hasnt played very good. I would give Jackson those snaps.
  2. I think it was a very slick play design and strong counter to duo. My complaint is timing. Pulling lineman on short yardage is always a gamble. That 2nd and 4 or 3 after a heavy dose likley creates an explosive play. Rare miss step by Brady imo. Like the play not the spot they ran it. Hard play action Allen with a pass run option or Cook were the 2 options. Best 2 players one of them has to touch the ball on 4th down. Rotation wise I think Jackson is a healthy scratch because Mcdermott doesnt want to put 3 rookies on the dline on the field at once. Solomon getting the playing time was for him to earn a spot. It is becoming more clear that he trending toward being waived when Hiecht returns. I would already be willing play Jackson over Solomon based of his performances.
  3. My best guess. Solomon is playing teams and has seniority. Over the summer Jackson didn't clearly surpass him. My best guess is Solomon is getting extend looks because when Huecht and Ogunjobi return decisions have to be made. At this point Solomon looks to be in the outs. He hasn't done much with his opportunities. Vs athletic Qbs he has not done well with contain or open field tackling. I dont understand his placement in rotation.
  4. His return ability has to be elite to make up for the fact he cant contribute on offense or defense. Thus far he is not and has made some mistakes. If Samuel can field punts Codrington is waived for Hairston.
  5. I think the mental sharpness and business like approach is just as important as playing well vs good teams. I think we all know Buffalo is good. Lock in a sure up areas of concern. Win on to next week.
  6. Either helps alot. KC has a much harder division. I think with a loss Baltimore still recovers and wins the division with ease. With a loss KC has a much tougher path. LAC and Denver will be hard to pass either let alone both. Things get weird for KC with a loss. Mahomes has been playing way more reckless and even physical early in an effort to spark the team. 1-3 with no real easy answers. Im all for the KC burial.
  7. Forcing the long game is the modern NFL. Allen has shown the ability to take it. Teams that get over aggressive Allen carves up. Jets and Miami are man to man teams who played zone to limit Allen from killing them. I have no doubt the first team that goes the other way will regret it.
  8. The less efficient less explosive Dolphins. My guess a NFC team who hasnt faced Allen much will mega brain it and game plan to stop the run. 8 in the box man outside. Bills by a billion.
  9. Benefit of the soft schedule. Having everyone play hard. Anyone dealing with something be cautious.
  10. Splitting hairs. End of the year records wont be much different amongst them. Mcdaniels gets fired Miami wins some games late.
  11. Cook is next best Bill besides Allen. It’s not relatively close either. Offense is pick your poison. They have the ability to be prolific in either style.
  12. Miami is a unique team. They operate underneath with hope of a defensive correction that opens up shots down the field. Mcdermott and Babich never wavered. A few missed tackles and soft coverage in man to man situations makes the final numbers more glaring than the actual football would tell you. They moved the ball twice and were heavily added with special teams blunders on 2 other drives. After the game is over Miami ran alot of plays with minimal production. Defense was in blender vs Baltimore have since recovered. Concern with Miami is their speed and explosive plays. They had 0 plays over 20 yards all game. Passing or rushing.
  13. KC will have a hard road with a tougher Division. Imo Baltimore starting 1-3 has 0 impact on their ability to win the division. Pittsburgh, Cincy, Cle is about as difficult as the AFC east.
  14. 38-3. Defense comes out on fire. Rattler or Shough doesnt matter. Passing game adds some explosive plays. Coleman and Palmer both score 30 plus TDs.
  15. Eagles game or they dont at all.
  16. Idk arm strength throw ball hard. Arm talent is Allen rolling out to his right and throwing a throwing a laser over the linebacker before the saftey. Mike Vick had arm strength and prime Aaron Rodgers had arm talent. Similar things but also a little different.
  17. This isnt complicated or dire as some think. Same thing with White and Miller coming off more severe injury. I expect Buffalo opens Hairston practice window Monday. He will then be able to practice for I believe 14 or 21 days. They will use the entirety of the window. First part recover from injury. Based of prognosis its about that time frame. Next is getting a rookie ready to play void of training camp and pre season reps. That part will take some time too. Mcdermott is making sure the expectations are not the he is taken off IR and plays next week.
  18. Rams, Bills, Bucs so far. Lions +9 at home. Cleveland is frisky, friskier at home.
  19. I think he takes the entirety of his practice window. Free roster spot while ramping him up. So week 7 or 8.
  20. Yes. I mean in an emotional and leadership sense not Allen making plays and coaches scheming things up. I guess the better way to word it would be this game is on the leadership of team. Off day for the team, flip on the Saints and by half time they all think it's going to be easy. Keeping the eyes on the prize and dismantling the Saints will either be a hard thing they make look easy or an easy thing they make look hard.
  21. Imo he handles pressure very poor. Pressure up the middle he will bail and heave. He could not beat out Spencer Rattler who I believe is winless as a starting qb. Shough was the number 3 qb in highschool at one point. Behind Lawrence and Fields. Losing to either would be coaching malpractice.
  22. Idk. Normally when you bench the starter for the rookie late in a blow out the rookie plays the following week. Hard to sell Rattler as the best option at this point. I think change for the sake of change is the only option for them.
  23. This game is on Allen, Mcdermott and the coaches. Do what you are suppose to and move along. First time starter? Special teams kept Miami on life support so that needs to be sured up to leave no doubt. 1pm kick will have the house rocking. Buffalo too much everywhere. 34-9.
  24. If you drafted and played anyone besides Allen, Cook and Kincaid you need a new hobby. Sarcasm I assume aside Cook, Allen and Kincaid are all top 5-10 in their position. So you cant really complain about fantasy production either.
  25. They scored 31. Had a missed FG. Miami was trying to play keep away on offense. This Sunday count how many teams score over 30. It’s not as common as you think. B offensive performance and they get 30. Thats pretty crazy to think about. They still won by 10.
