Will anyone admit to becoming a Bills fan during the Josh Allen era?
Mat68 replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Im sure some are. My first Bills football memory was laughing manically as an older sibling was crying in their Raider starter jacket when Buffalo won to make the superbowl. I was very young and a fan ever since. The drought years were very tough. When in doubt the current Bills are what any fan hoped for during that time. I still think Allen will go crazy in a playoff run and win a superbowl like Farve and Rodgers. -
From the videos he looks fast and smooth. White running first early isnt a surprise. I think by the first week of August he is splitting reps with White. White is the floor Hairston has to run down. Imo he will.

You’re not wrong. Imo opportunity comes in Pa. Early down run sets when Coleman was the singular wr the passing game was effective. Buffalo was near the bottom in the NFL in PA rate. If Coleman can take over that Hollins role those early downs Coleman needs to be a mfer as a run blocker. If that happens the PA unlocks on early downs. Coleman in playaction puts him naturally in those condensed sets where Shakir is likely the z. Many times late in the year it was Shakir and Hollins early run duo. Coleman instead of Hollins makes passing more enticing.

Also the role. Single wr and run heavy formation Coleman will be on the field. He became a beast taking that role from MVS. I think Coleman will have a Marqise Colston or Micheal Thomas type impact and season. Slants from the X and attack the seems from the slot. Coleman was top 5 in the NFL in yards after catch over expectations. For his size he is great after the catch. Him playing 215-220 isnt much but imo noticeable. At the end of the year I think Coleman emerges more so than Kincaid.

He isn't recovered yet. I think come Sept he is in Buffalo either practice squad or main roster if there is an injury.

From his press conference his upper body looks bigger. He learned some stuff from Von but his length is his x factor. Add power to really take advantage of optimal matchups. I think the change in Strength and Conditioning is obvious. Some guys need to get stronger not faster. I think Coleman and Rousseau could really benefit from adding some weight and playing bigger. Their size is already a plus add the play strength to unlock more potential.

Get him to January some what healthy. Thats what he is brought in for. He was a menace vs Houston.

With the amount social media and other behind the scene shows I dont think it will be much of an issue. Look forward to it.

Unless Sanders wins the 1tech job. Playing 305-310 he would be big enough. Without Sanders taking the job no reason to cut the team’s primary 1tech. I think Carter would be a possible cut down day trade candidate.

If thats the schedule, Buffalo needs to secure the 1 seed. Have the playoff run through the stadium to send it off.

On X has to be true

Rather black helmet over blue helmet. Maybe the Sabers bull like design and color scheme. Reality is the majority of fans would want a red helmet if Buffalo used another helmet scheme. I think it makes too much sense not to.

Elijah Moore Visiting the Bills today (Update: Signed!)

I have no problem saying Herbert is wildly overrated. Looks great, throws a good deep ball. Under pressure is awful. Imo due to his mechanical throwing motion. -
They felt Walker was a first rd talent and was there due to an injury. Horton, Royal or whoever you would have preferred have real questions if they will translate to the NFL. I dont like every pick but hard to argue with what they did and issues the team had that were addressed. Elijah Moore is better fit for the offense and is better than anyone available at that point. I think that Moore was a factor in making the move for Walker. Getting riled up over not picking a certain player on day 3 is wild. Majority don't workout anyways.

Best drafts are when value meets need. Sometimes Buffalo drafts need over value and that is where I get concerned. Elam was a consensus day 2 pick and was a poor pick. It was a massive need but the guy who they saw as late day 2 early day 3 pick was still there in the 6th won the job. Trust the evaluation. Cant fill a need trade down or pick the best player on the board. Injuries happen all the time and competition is good. I felt this draft they got value at needs. Cant argue the thought process.

Seeing Strong with 43 reminded me Bernard switched to 8. Too skinny a number for a skinny LB. 43 added at least 5 pds. 8 subtracts 10 pds maybe more.

Thought Exercise: Best Bills QB (99-2017) who'd be JA17 backup

Fitz and it is not remotely close. Good vibes. If needed for a 3 game stretch he would go 2-1 maybe 3-0 with the current team. Best non Bills game experience was being at the Tampa game when Fitz started and threw for 5 tds. He wore Desean Jacksons jump suit and chains to the post game presser. Fitz is the master of here for a fun time not a long time. Always came in hot. After defenses catch up he cools off. Perfect backup. -
Kenny Pickett is the guy from the old Burger King commercials.

Malaki Starks wants to pick off Josh Allen most

It’s a compliment. They used to say Brady or Manning. Now its Allen, Mahomes or Lamar -
Mack great weird dude. He caught 31 of 50 targets for 378 yards. Not great. More and Palmer way more productive.

His style as a wr fits with what Allen has been best with guys that separate. Imo he is in direct competition with Samuel. Palmer Shakir and Coleman are the three. Depending on formation you will see any combination of the three or two. -
Hancock rocking 37. Nate Odomes number on a DB is always a good thing.
