  1. If they dont trade them use one of those day 3 picks. After the draft sign a vet for peanuts and a few UFAs. Rbs that can run the ball grow on trees.
  2. When you bake in positional value I think Wr will be the pick followed by Edge then Interior dline. I would go Oline before safety in rd 1. No one is worthy it at saftey until end of day 2. Comes down to whether one of the Bills top rated edge defender is available. If they are I think that is the pick. I expect they will be gone and the best player will be wr. If a run starts at WR maybe they go Murphy if available or possibly Jackson Powers as center/guard.
  3. That is 1000% the biggest need in January for 4 years on offense.
  4. I think he went from UFA to late day 3 with the combine.
  5. He lined up 50% in slot 45% outside and the rest in the backfield. Why does that make him slot only? What is the infatuation with “X” wr. Outside only? The best Wrs line up everywhere. The X who cant play anywhere else because they dont have the short area quickness died in the 90’s. I expect they draft a guy either rd 1 or 2. They will have the ability to win deep or intermediate. Contested catch, open when not open throw in the trash and leave it there.
  6. I dont think this changes the desire to add a wr. The team lost 3 contributors off the team brought in 2. The desire to add 2 has left but another guy with speed will be brought in. I could see a D line at 28 if they like an edge. With the addition of Samuel I could get behind Leggette or best remaing wr at 60. I think with what Buffalo has for needs the pick selections matches up. Day 3 you can find secondary depth and mid rounds you can find interior help.
  7. He has plenty ability to get down field. He can do a little bit of everything. He helps the offense become more unpredictable. Based off sub packages and personal the offense was easy to pick up tendencies. Mckenzie and Harty watch for motion ect. Samuel can do all that stuff plus function as a tradition slot or line up outside. I would compare it to the Beasley signing. A solid vet Wr in their prime. Beasley had some of his best years here and I can see the same thing for him. This is not a nothing signing but compared to Mooney and Davis I think its a win when you look at what he does and how much was paid.
  8. If they dont trade them use one the 5th rounders on one.
  9. Sione Vaki S Utah 5-11 210 Cool story where he played running back too last year because they had a rash of injuries. He got 42 carries and 11 catches put up 500 yards and 5 tds. Natural athlete and worth a look day 3. At worst a core special teamer but might develop into something. Seems like 100% process team guy.
  10. The game has evolved past x, z and slot. Samuel has the juice and skill set to play outside. The advance metrics points to him being very effective in that role. Diggs, Shakir and Samuel can line up anywhere. So can Kincaid and Cook. In term of production I would point to his qbs. Carolina and Washington have had bad qbs. I expect Samuel in a steady role has a career year. He can do it all plus adds some of the gimmick plays and Debo Samuel stuff. If they take a Wr in the Top 60 picks Buffalo will have the best Wr room Allen has played with.
  11. I usually dont like anyone at edge at 28 enough to pass on Worthy or Mitchell. At 60 I will get the best D lineman. With Jones and Epenesa back not concerned with what position. Thats why a guy like Orhorhoro intrigues me because he can play almost anywhere.
  12. In mocks if I go Wr at 28 I like the interior Dline choices at 60. Possibly pick between Jenkins, Fiske and Im very intrigued by Ruke Orhorhoro. Orhorhoro reminds me of Michael Bennett.
  13. He is a solid #2. Opens up rd 1 if an edge falls. I wouldnt rule out Johns Powers either but would hate it then like it.
  14. Get Mitchell or Worthy at 28 and the offense will have the best weapons for Allen in his career.
  15. Solid wr. Can play anywhere in formation. Curious how he looks playing with a big time Qb. I go Worthy at 28. Hollins goes the dirty work, Samuels is solid everywhere. Worthy a speed demon.
  16. I can see him getting a guy or two at money you wouldn't expect.
  17. At the time he was behind Shakir and Mckenzie and did not play teams. That is why he was cut. Hodgins on the roster wouldn't have stopped Brown and Beasley returning that year.
  18. If your 5th or 6th wr doesn't play teams they dont dress and become a waste of a roster spot. Hollins is a better wr. He is also a better athlete and is significantly better as a run blocker and on special teams.
  19. Beane doesn't operate this sloppy. Seems like Buffalo is being floated out there to leverage Houston in paying more. The big deals happen put of nowhere. Not this watch stuff.
  20. Going from Desmond Ridder to Allen might be a slight upgrade for him. He is a similar player to Davis. Plus blocker and decent down the field. Fills a hole on the roster. He is the line Shorter would have to surpass to make the team and see playing time.
  21. Imo solidifies the LB room.
  22. Dillon than Foreman. Dillon on a modest deal imo pairs well with Cook. Do the short yardage stuff plus can function as a back up. Foreman can offer the same just a notch below imo.
  23. Solid force. I expect either one of the first picks are Dline. Jones is a productive bridge player. Not the long term answer but what you want now. Like to see a guy added in the rotation that can play both interior positions.
  24. I wouldn't pay more than 5 mil a year for a wr. Let the dust settle and add a vet to the room.
