I expect Allen approach this season is similar to Mahomes last year. Take the open easy pass. No need to pass up a gimme for a shot. They are Aliens who can take a nothing play into the best play of the game. Two years ago Mahomes chased the deep ball. Last year Allen chased it. Allen is going machine. I expect Cook, Kincaid and Knox underneath are going be surgical. When you got a guy open take it. No need to force it. Lets not forget his injury. Brock Purdy for San fran had a similar injury in the NFC championship. He never re entered and his status for week 1 is murky. Allen lost 2 games after his including the playoffs. The guy did not throw during the week most of the year and was still top 5.

First 2 picks were for the best receiving Te in the draft and arguably top pure guard in the draft. Throw in the numbers by signing Edwards Quessenberry and Shell you can not with a straight face say Buffalo has not prioritize Oline this offseason. Buffalo didnt make any Von type moves. But being a starting caliber NFL player isnt a bust either. The amount of money is alot but DT is the 3rd most valuable position on defense behind Edge and Db. For those curious Kyle Williams didnt make a pro bowl until year 5. Oliver in his his first 4 years has 6 more sacks twice as many forced fumbles and only 2 less tackles for loss. Salaries have ballooned Oliver has been solid not elite. The contract matches and provides Buffalo flexibility. Buffalo could restructure both Dawkins and White and pay Hopkins 15 mil without using void years.

Its 2023 we all realize the Guaranteed money is the real deal. By resigning him now Buffalo will lower his cap number this year. Buffalo has had the more consistent defenses. In a vacuum Kc has been able to out perform Buffalo in the playoffs by being more multiple and more aggressive. To be a reliable underneath receiver for the Bills you need to be securely in Allens trust tree. After Beasley there was not much last year. Mckenzie was not. Crowder didnt stay healthy enough. I think Cook is getting close. Out of the Kincaid, Harty, Sherfield, Hines and Shakir the guy who gains his trust will be the guy thats most productive.
