  1. With the struggles of Johnson, and Burke the year prior I suspect he slips to day 2. All a little shorter and I suspect timed slower than initially thought.
  2. I would like Buffalo to double dip WR and S.
  3. I see the want for size. I do to but they have to be able to separate first. For me a red flag is on a 5 min highlight tape they do not separate outside once. Busted coverage or jump ball is a pass from me.
  4. Seems like a project not an immediate starter. I have faith in McBeane when it comes to dbs so I would get behind it if they ultimately went that way. From my limited information he doesn't sound like their type of guy early.
  5. Interested to see what his offense looks like and what his vision of player packages and formations are. You could see a change in the offense when he took over.
  6. I do like both. I would like to see them walk away with either than add another in the middle rounds.
  7. No. If Diggs wants out he may come to the table though.
  8. That is Kincaid. They need someone who can line up outside and beat press. Whether its with size speed or both. 50/50 jump ball catchers have high bust rates. 50/50 catch rates do not correlate well to the NFL. Separation is most important. Size in a vacuum is best but need the prerequisites first.
  9. Greg Cosell and Chris Simms say the tape says otherwise. He is not doubled often. Defenses dont go to the lengths to stop Diggs they go to stop other wrs. Diggs is great but alot of the production come with volume.
  10. For these 6’4 plus guys the combine is going to separate them. Who is a 4.6 who is low 4.5. Mike Evans vs Kelvin Benjamin. Also, with new rules the wr size isnt as big of a deal. Devonte Smith and Tank Dell are fine. If Worthy run 4.3 his speed and separation translates better then the big guys 50/50 ability. I would like to see Buffalo double dip at Wr. One early and one in the middle rounds.
  11. I can see them going WR saftey. Im not sure about either guy. I would rather have the guys that went later. Worthy, Mitchell, Coleman even Polk before Leggett. Possibly losing Hyde, Poyer and Rapp I think saftey is a big need. An under sized guy from a bad defense seems like a stretch for him to be ready out of the gate.
  12. Hard disagree. Get a smart offensive mind. Challenge Allen mentally. Providing the right answers to a defense will allow Allen to play to his potential more.
  13. Offense wasn't as efficient force feeding Diggs the ball. Diggs seems to struggle some without volume. In a more balance attack his productivity has suffered. Most likely he is back next season. With more juice around him it could open him up for a more efficient year.
  14. Brady showed that he has the chops for the position. I think he is a solid hire. Bring in a young up and comer for qb coach.
  15. Everyone thought Mike would be a problem. Benard has been a beast all season. I think Letting Williams learn on the fly is better than Dodson/ Rapp. Give me Rapp and Williams in my veins like a junky.
  16. Bills win the division and the 1 seed. Buffalo smokes the jets Monday night and the whole NFL world scrambles back to the band wagon.
  17. Curious how Benard looks at the mike. Imo he looks too narrow but modern day bakers are around 220 so might be ok. Kirksy is the floor at the position. I think if Benard struggles Kirksy takes it over the rest of the way and they look for the long term answer in March or April. Tough to jump in and run the defense in 2 weeks. I think if Benard struggles too that is the plan the rest of the season.
  18. So with Barkley, Spector, and Shorter going on ir you bring back Klien, Isabella and obvioussly Ried.
  19. I would put a claim for Cunningham. I dont think Buffalo keeps 3 qbs on the 53 though. What vets they bring back is interesting to me. Von and Barkley are 2 spots. Does anyone else go on short term ir?
  20. Benford is a better scheme fit but less an athlete than Elam. I think you keep both. Elam gives Mcdermott scheme flexibility. Match ups and even situations you want to play man Elam will be used. Seems like Elam isnt the best practice player but game day he seemed to play well.
  21. Lowkey Shorter has not played well on teams. That was his role. Both returns this preseason where on his side of the field. His potential is intriguing but I think he is firmly on the bubble. I think Evans and Isabella make that a decision they weren't expecting to have 3 weeks ago. Elam is getting some hate. When playing he hasnt been bad. I think for 80% of the time Buffalo likes Bedford and Jackson. They fit the off zone style. Man to man he has more than held his own and does things neither can. Bedford coming out of nowhere and playing well is good problem.
  22. Imo they are a top heavy roster. Hill, Waddle, Wilkins, Philllips, Armstead, Holland and Ramsey. Ramsey hurt, Armstead has been hurt for years. Even those players listed Buffalo is very close to them. Buffalo on a national scale is boring and stale. Its bold to say Miami and NY are overtaking Buffalo but both have to handle injury and adversity while playing consistent football.
  23. I think he makes the team strictly based on special teams this season.
  24. I think Cook becomes a weapon this year. Running and catching. I think the Bills think the way I do.
  25. Has all the tools. A good dude. He will be limited by the team around him. Low key going to have a sneaky fantasy season and will make young Allen and Cam type plays.
