  1. Yes, but like Mayfield will get close 100% guaranteed. Bosa wanted a higher % and upfront. There are things that can be wrote in. I see that going the other way. I expect they will want as much upfront as possible. Offset language and other pitfalls will be added and they will not catch.
  2. Guaranteed money.
  3. Pretty simple vision. Last summer Buffalo had cap issues, were a pretty old roster, no faces of the franchise or leaders under 30. A year later Buffalo cut down the cap so next year they have close to 100 mil available. Quietly Buffalo built one of the best secondaries in football, and now may have a top 10 unit with the addittions to the dline. In one year created a top 10 unit, created 100 mil in cap space (pressumly used to bring in weapons on the offense), and have potentially the 2 faces and leaders of the franchise with Allen and Edmunds. This year they will go through some growing pains but the future is the brighest its ever been in Buffalo.
  4. Could compete for return man. Basically, the same guy as Tawain Jones.
  5. Its never good to just start a young qb because. That is how you ruin a prospect and lose the lockeroom. If McCarron or Petermam are clearly better thats who you start. Now you can go the other way to. Nowhere in this galaxy was Savage better than Watson. Why waste all those reps in TC and preseason on guy you give 2 quarters of football to? Im higher on Allen most. Of all the rookies him and Rosen are the most equipped to start right away imo. Mcarron or Peterman would need to clearly and convincingly out perform Allen. Based off what ive seen that will be a tall order for either.
  6. Kid is going to be special.
  7. Here is the case to start Allen. Exhibit A AJ Mccarron. Exhibit B Nathan Peterman. I dont hate either but I also expect Allen to to look and be so different that it becomes obvious. All three are learning a new offense so he is not far behind in that aspect. Going into training camp and into the preseason I think Allen starts to make the decision for the coaching staff and team.
  8. I would bring him in. More of a vertical threat than clay.
  9. I dont thinl either group is as dire as some make them out to be. Wr can use a guy with who can get deep. I expect this to happen after some more guys are cut or before camp.
  10. Edmunds is going to shrink alot of windows in middle of the field. He is something teams dont see or be able to replicate. A guy that big shouldnt be that fluid and athletic. With star, kyle, and harry in front of him, Edmunds will be all over the field. The defense could become very good very quickly.
  11. If Allen did/does that the sky will be falling. It is the first practice and not a big deal no matter what. Intertested to see how much buzz Allen gets. Its going to bs very difficult for the Bills coaches to keep Allen off the field. After Mccarron and Allen start throwing beside each other everyone there will be seeing a massive difference.
  12. Really going to determine who takes over the Pats. Overall, I like Alles chances to become a better Qb than Darnold. Buffalo has a better team around Allen. The organization finally seems to have a significant amount of security and direction. Daboll should be the OC for a quite a few years. I dont see Bowles lasting much more than a season or two, Danrold will be in a less stable situation.
  13. He wasnt trading up for Nelson. I think the answer is obvious. Allen was the target everywhere from 3 on. The trade was agreed on, only contigent was unless the Broncos guy was there. That guy was Chubb..
  14. Hughes lotuliea williams murphy Alexander edmunds milano Outside of trading Lawson for a LB, i dont see any changes. Humber could take the spot from Alexander if they see him as a special teamer and pass rush specialist.
  15. He will have to play with his hair on fire in the spring and summer. I could see them flipping him for a young Wr in a similar situation on the team they are on. If he does not improve he will be traded for a day 3 pick.
  16. Raw is a vauge term now. Allen played in a pro system closer than any player. What Allen experianced at Wyoming is closer to what he will find in the NFL vs what Mayfield did at Oklahoma.
  17. In reguards to Pegula. Terry was not a big football fan. That seems to be more Kim. Coming into an organization that has been middling what is the issue? What needs be fixed? That is not something that happens over night. When Marrone wanted more power and change imo Brandon painted it a money grab. Pegula even offered more money. Brandon was explaining the business and Marrone was wanting him out. After the search and Rex debackle I think Pegula had a better handle of the issues at hand. The Mcderrmot hire and Beane hire now shows a vision and systematic clense of the organization top to bottom. The recent news about Brandon is a surprise in infraction but possibly the best outcome for the Pegulas. Kim was always going to be the day to day operator of the franchises she just needed to learn that side of it. Not perfect but best situation to make the change.
  18. Likley no, but regaurdless they got the guy they wanted. If they liked Darnold they could have gone to 2. They were willing to go to 5 so they obviously are very high on him.
  19. Overall, a week later, the perception of the draft seems positive for the most part. Personal opionions aside, Buffalo filled some glarring holes on the roster. They very well could have 2 cornerstones of the franchise at two of the most important positions. Buffalo has depth at every position now and I will argue they are a more talented than the team that made the playoffs. I dont think Beane is done tinkering yet. They will bring in another outside wr who can get deep through FA or trade.
  20. I dont agree. You have a play you have a designed primary. Allen plays differant than Mccarron. McCarron will have to follow closer to play design. Allen is going to look long than short. Same play same coverage, you will probably get 2 seperate outcomes. Allen can put the ball in places Mccarron and Peterman can not.
  21. No. Encourage the self investment and utilize your own coaches. Teach him the offense, situationaly when you want him to reign himself in, and give him some drill to learn the footwork. With the limited feild work allowed in the CBA have him continue the self evaluation.
  22. Gotta take that with a grain of salt. They are neighbors and with the bad press Colin was trying to give him a solid. He wouldnt have treated Mayfield like that.
  23. I see Farve. Maybe not the most cerebrial but hes gonna sling the rock and make big time throws.
  24. College stats have never correlated to NFL success at Qb. Really there are 2 things, natural ability and drive. No one knows how hard a 20 something will work when they can have anything they want. Analytics got Clevelands lasy regime fired. They out thought themselves with Wentz.
