  1. Very rarely do players fail miserably in there pro debuts and blossum into good starters atleast at the QB position. I cant remember a case where that happens. Even with Farve's fumbles they were not in terrible positions and he played well enough to over come those,. At the end of the day you only remember that he led a drive and scored the game winning points at the end.
  2. Precotte wasnt beating out Romo. If the Cowboys last year were sitting in the wildcard slot half way through the season Jerry Jones would not have benched Romo for Prescotte.
  3. Yet even with hi spoor display he rallied and led a game winning drive in his first start.
  4. I agree. Sticking with Peterman would be commendable but in 1 week will he improve his pocket awareness and find that middle ground of throwing down the field and not turning the ball over every other toss.
  5. The 1 million dollar question is who plays QB Sunday. I think Taylor could bounce back in a very big way. Similar to what Reid did with Mcnabb many moons ago.
  6. Peterman had the worst Fantasy outing ever. -6.62 points? Overall that was the worst QB performance of all time not just debuts. Going back to Peterman would bold, like awesomely bad bold. Does Mcdermott admit he made a mistake and go back to Taylor or double down and stick with Peterman and see if he can handle pressure? The Cheifs will come after him. Can he do better vs the blitz? He can than maybe there is something their idk.
  7. Watching this team for the last 20 years has caused me to get CTE.
  8. I would be shocked if Mccoy doesn't come here after the season. After the last stretch of games I would consider giving Dennison the boot. Hire Mccoy as a consultant/ Oc now. I don't see Mcdermott getting rid of anyone in season though.
  9. I didnt think it could get worst but it pretty much did. Only thing worst than a 3 and out is a 2 and out. The coaching tenure will begin to take picture with how Mcdermott moves forward. Taylor gives the Bills the best chance to play competitive football vs the Chiefs. He has played them tough the last few years. Peterman would be playing because he is the coaches guy regardless if it is Dennison or Mcdermott. In sports at any level you have to play the best guy at each position. The team knows when that is the case and the play suffers. IF they are planning to flip the roster again I guess you keep Peterman in their get the highest pick possible and find your franchise guy. Make a move for Luck, trade up for a Qb or Pursue Cousins. There are options but they dont help to end the worst drought in sports history.
  10. Something had to be done after the complete give up game Buffalo had at home. Taylor was as oppositely as bad as Peterman was vs LAC. One Qb is so over protective of the ball they refuse to test coverage over 10 yards in a blow out. The other guy who was so aggressive he was throwing punts into the air on third downs. Sitting Taylor made the message pretty loud and clear. I dont care who you are what position, if you dont play the way we expect you to we will put someone else in that will. Now in hindsight the decision looks truly bad. Now after 2 terrible performances for complete different reasons what way does the coaching staff go. To me as a player Peterman looked in over his head. He made some throws that showed promise. Those were far and few and he threw more picks than threw completions that showed promise. If this was a move to send a message to Taylor and the football team it could still makes sense going forward and help the team, but to do so Taylor is obviously the starter for the remainder of the year. If Peterman remains the starter this is a subtle not so subtle tank. Continuing to force the evolution of Nathan Peterman as a NFL QB is looking toward next year and basically throws in the towel for the 2017 Bills. The remainder of the season would be an extended job interview for everyone on the roster. Players that play hard stay the younger guys get some much needed reps and the veteran are gone in March.
  11. I disagree. if Buffalo ends up with a top 15 pick they have plenty of ammo to send to San Fran. Assuming they keep Jimmy G they will be moving down on draft night.
  12. My issues with Dennison is that he isnt playing to player strengths. He has never called an offense before this this. His play calling leaves alot to be desired. The offense is barely functioning and it is week 11. Teams know who and what they are. This team and offense still has no Idea. That falls at the feet of the person in charge of the unit.
  13. He is fine setting an edge but cant cover or run sideline to sideline. LB is a massive need. Brown is ok he is who he is. Really do not understand why Milano has not replaced Humber or alexander at this pint.
  14. Taylor is the better player. If the tank is on you play Peterman and look towards next year. Interesting place. It would take watermelon cajones to stick with Peterman after that performance. I do not know what he will do at this point. Slowly but surely this team has devolved into a dumpster fire.
  15. Alot of QBs have had poor protection. You can't heave up arm punts and then blame protection for doing so. A couple pressures were avoidable those that were not protect the ball and take the sack. He just isn't ready. You can not take your drop and be unwilling to move off your spot in the NFL. Step up sway to the side. I give Peterman credit for keep heaving them out there but that doesn't get it done in the NFL. I put faith in that the coaches thought he was ready. In the end I expect Dennison to be the fail guy for this.
  16. Mike Mccoy is out in Denver who was Mcdermott's first choice. With how the unit has played all year Dennison is probably done at seasons end. The defense needs some talent in the interior and some speed in the linebaker group.
  17. i dont see how anyone can come to that conclusion. Peterman may have had the worst debut in NFL history.
  18. This situation could not have gone worse. Peterman is not close to being ready. Only way you play Peterman is in a throw away game like the Jets game last year. He is years away from making it back on to the field. The whole organization has egg on their faces for how this has turned out. Taylor starts the remainder of the year because obviulsy now he is unquestionably the better player, quarterback, and leader. I still do not disagree with the move to try to spark the team, but you become Cleveland north real quickly if you start playing Qb roulette.
  19. I am with you. Last week was terrible to watch. It looked like a highshool game when one time was 3 or 4 A and one was single A. The change has brought some excitement for the this weeks game that would not have been their if Taylor remained the starter. Sure they are in the playoffs today but everyone could see the bottom falling out.
  20. 10-3 TD to Int ok. QBR/ QB rating middle of the road. Last in the league in accuracy passing over 15 yards, second to last in accuraccy for window spot throws. Three and outs and he is not getting the big plays this year results in him not being an effective passer. I was fine with his style if he is good for 2-3 big plays a game. Those plays are coming fewer and fewer and he is not getting anymore consistent between them. Rex has an axe to grind. If Buffalo makes the playoffs with a rookie qb its a slap to his face. The national media does not understand the move their are some out there that havent bashed it because they do get it. They have watched games.
  21. The defense is mediocre, plays very well with a lead and is opportunistic. To use the defense to the best of its ability the offense needs to score points. I like the addition of Benjamin. Give him a chance down the field. PI or big plays will follow. The move to Peterman is an absolute gamble. Imo Taylor would not beat NE KC and most likley not LAC with Lynn running the show. Does 8-8 do it? Probaly not. Going to Peterman to me is a win now move. There is absoluyley the risk that the moment is too big for Peterman but Taylor was leading the 2017 Buffalo BIlls to an at best 8-8 record Peterman could be more. If he fails miserably they have the ammo to move up for Rosen.
  22. Its almost certain that Buffalo doesn't pick up his option. IF Buffalo does that they would basically paying 6 million for a mid rd pick I guess.
  23. Is Hue Jackson still in Cleveland? Maybe they make a bad trade. Imo the media over values Taylor. They look at the box scores and some of the modern qb matrix are pretty favorable to him. Taylor doesnt reup here last year if his intrest on the open market was high.
  24. The day is here. No more ifs coulds buts or maybe. Lets see how the kid does. Here is hoping Buffalo finally finds their guy.
  25. Then the running game will have most space it has had in 3 years.
