McCarron was the least impressive Qb in the spring. Peterman was dumpster fire as rookie. He ultimately threw the season ending Int the last time he played. This is even money. Vegas probably would have Allen as the favorite.

Until he proves it on field he will always have detractors. Time will tell. Basically, you have the analytic marvel with Mayfiled and the prototype Qb prospect in Allen. We shall she how this plays out. Right now he has said and done all the right things in Buffalo. Personally, I think and hope Allen becomes the starter in camp and he never looks back.

I disagree. Bell in FA gets 3 years 50 all guaranteed. Zeke will get more than Gurley. RBs will be the first position at the top to take 1 or 2 years less for more guaranteed money. Gurley's deal is pretty much 3 years 45 mil.

Imo Allen is the starter week 1 or becomes it before the end of week 2. Allen is doing all the small stuff while also having the most talent. When he is out working the other guys what's the point of not playing the more talented guy? Run game, defense, 2 or 3 big pass plays a game is a decent formula to win.

Has good size and speed. I think at best he starts at Sam and is the other nickel linebacker. At worst he is the 4th linebaker and spells for all three starters. Overall good pick up. Alexander at this point needs to be a situational player and this allows that.

Sims was in NE when Dabol. I enjoy the Simms and Lefkoe podcast. Simms pulls some very good info from time to time. Simms liked Allen alot. He thought he was the most pro ready and would start way sooner then the media was projecting. The part that makes me believe its more than just a big arm in shorts thing, was him saying its very similar to Wentz in Philly. Its everything hes doing, not just on the field.
