  1. I saw a lot of really deep dropbacks with quick throws to avoid sacks. Forcing an offense to adopt an ineffective game plan is a win for the D-line in my book.
  2. He could win the next 5 man of the year awards and then the Nobel Peace Prize, and he will always be a scumbag in my eyes for that diving elbow on White.
  3. That was less a doink than a DUUURRRNNNNK-K-K-K-K.
  4. Jeebus that's the loudest doink I've ever heard.
  5. Who is the backup with Tua out?
  6. Tua would be straight up DEAD after that hit Brissett took scrambling for a first down.
  7. DPOY, not a chance at MVP.
  8. Remember when the doom and gloomers were crying over our imminent 1-2 record because we were only up 7 in the first half after a fluke TD and a lucky bounce on a kickoff + uncalled hold on second TD? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
  9. When I had my bruised/fractured ribs, they initially came up as negative for a fracture, but the doctor told me it's not unheard of for fractures in ribs to not show on the initial x-ray. They declined to run confirmation tests since apparently the only difference (at least in my case) would be how long it takes to heal, not the treatment. An NFL player would get the followup tests to confirm bruise vs fracture if the amount of pain he is in conflicts with the initial negative test.
  10. Yeah that's the game that got me a girlfriend who turned into a fiance. She remembered how the comeback gave me the courage to ask her to be my girlfriend, and much later when we were at the game where we were getting thumped by Seattle in Toronto, she randomly asked me "so if the Bills come back and win this game too, I get a proposal, right?"
  11. Josh could have a whole season of 80% pass completion for 6000 yards and 50 TDs with 5 INTs, and PFF would still come down on him for "turnover worthy plays". For all their talk of contextual analysis, they refuse to acknowledge the context of his arm being able to do things others simply can't. Well they mention it, but dismiss is as "arm arrogance". Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't he rated as one of the best in the league against pressure last year?
  12. Just in terms of personal interactions with fans, Miami is edging into the lead. Jets and Pats fans have toned down their acts lately, with Dolphins fans becoming more insufferable since drafting Tua. I know a lot of it is just trolling, but the laundry list of excuses as to why they still own us despite them losing 6 straight by an average of 20 points, paired with their constant cliche comebacks of "durr, you lost 4 SBs" is just annoying. Steelers fans are still the worst though. They'll crap on charity work from Bills players just to start crap with Bills fans. Bandwagon Chiefs fans in my town are getting up there too with their unsolicited smack talk of the Bills/Josh Allen (prompted solely by noticing I am wearing a Bills hat), which they present as simple fact even if they are misinformed and wrong. I give them a very slight pass as bandwagon fans can't actually be expected to really understand football.
  13. You should stop petting her then.
  14. Well there goes my hope of getting season tickets.
  15. You should stop petting it then.
  16. And of course the first reply to the tweet I see is a Steelers fan crapping on it and trying to start crap with Bills fans.
  17. Because it was holding instead? Uncalled holding lol.
  18. I'm just going to hazard a guess that Xavien Howard was on the right side most of the game?
  19. Doesn't Miami have 2 of the top 5 paid CBs in the league? Including one that may easily be one of the 3 best. I'll hold off on the "Allen is regressing/was a fluke last year" until he's having "bad" games while NOT under constant pressure against top DBs.
  20. Put a handful of votes in, might check back later. What a good problem to have. "Sure, our rookie played great. But our other young guys ALSO played great, how terrible who am I supposed to be happy for now?"
  21. Weird, a "random thought" that actually warranted its own thread. Didn't know that was possible.
  22. I guess you missed that big neon blue header at the top of the page explaining how it became its own thread?
  23. You call last year "a few glimpses of greatness"?
  24. I also noticed at least one throw that called for his patented fastball, but he seemed to try to throw it with touch instead and it fluttered short, as if his arm strength suddenly failed mid throw. Seemed to me like he was frequently getting confused, and not acting on his honed instinct.
  25. Yeah I've seen him run for a good handful of first downs even as a 40+ year old lamp post.
