  1. "Trapped." Please. He's got five rings, a guaranteed ticket to Canton, and enough money that his great-great-great-grandchildren will be able to live off the interest. The only thing "trapping" him is his own ego.

  3. I'm going with the Vikings. When they win the Super Bowl, they'll be the last team to win a game this season. ?
  4. I changed careers a few months ago but I'm still friends with many of my old colleagues, so I'm well aware of what's going on in that organization. Even though I'm not involved in the day-to-day activities, I can accurately assess the relationship between the staff and the management.
  5. Funny how there are 52 other Bills who didn't quit.
  6. Green Bay. They'd have a W against the Vikes, if not for one really bad call.
  7. That was clearly the most dangerous move in the entire fight.
  8. Does the coin have 15 sides?
  9. The second half of yesterday's game was the only entertaining part of the past two weeks.
  10. 1. O-line 2. Receivers 3. CB 4. DT I suspect we'll bring in some FAs and work trades for the WR and CB positions - maybe OL or DL too. Whatever they can't find in free-agency or trades, they'll address in the draft.
  11. Call it a consolation prize.
  12. Sounds like Frazier is staying. Based on the difference in defensive play after McD took over the play calling, it would suggest that Frazier is good at coming up with a defensive scheme and preparing the players, but he's not a good play-caller. If McD can call the plays and they keep performing like they did in the second half yesterday, that arrangement could work.
  13. After a dismal defensive performance in the first half, McD took over the defensive play-calling in the second half, where they held the Chargers to only 3 points. The first half was worse. The second half was better. It was like watching two different defenses out there.
  14. Troubleshooting 101: The D sucked for six quarters. Then, a halftime adjustment was made, and the D played two decent quarters. What was removed? That was probably the culprit.
  15. I'll drive about halfway to the ceremony, say "Screw it," then turn around and go home.
  16. I'll bet he shops at
  17. That's a bit melodramatic on both counts. The O put points on the board and the D showed up in the second half. Davis's stunt was about him, not the team.
  18. "I don't deserve to wear Fred Jackson's old number."
  19. That was a horrible call. Clay hit him cleanly the instant the ball left his hand. He didn't go low, didn't hit him in the head, and didn't drive him into the ground.
  20. Who took over the play-calling on offense? I saw flashes of creativity in the second half.
  21. Looked like a whole different defense out there in the 2nd half.
