Agreed. While I enjoy an occasional IPA - like Founders, mentioned above - too many of them seem to be overhopped just for the sake of doing it. I have a friend who loves IPAs. He offered me one called "Hop Stoopid." I had a feeling I wouldn't like it so I just poured a taste of his into a glass and tried it. Let's just say the beer is appropriately named. I haven't seen this in a long time, but Sam Adams used to make a Boston Ale. (Not their flagship Boston Lager.) Boston Ale was the most perfectly balanced beer I've ever had. I wish I could find it again. Goose Island Honker's Ale is a close second - I usually stock up on it when I find it on sale. Goose Island was bought out by Anheuser Busch a couple years ago, but so far the quality is still good.

I once pulled into a parking spot and in a nearby spot was a young woman holding a pair of jumper cables, reading a manual, and looking very stressed. Then I saw a woman next to her who appeared to be her mom. I think her car died and mom came down to help, but neither one knew how to jump-start a car. I gave a quick lesson and they were on their way.

I laughed at the thread that predicted Peterman would be the opening day starter.

Statistically speaking, TB was an outlier, an anomaly. Saying "This 6th round draft pick could become a superstar because Brady did it" is the equivalent of saying "This lottery ticket might get me the Mega Millions Jackpot because it happened to some other guy." Sure, it could be the winner, but don't quit your job on the incredibly slim chance that it might.

That's a legitimate question to ask about a player who was drafted in the first round. When you draft him in the fifth, like they did Peterman, then you expect him to be a career backup at best, barring a miracle.

Our grocery store has a great craft beer selection, most of which is too pricey for me. But when they run a sale on something I like, I stock up. It's still not as cheap as Bud, but it's worth it to me. Also, I only drink one or two a day, so that helps keep the cost down. When we go on camping trips and I'm drinking 4-6 a day, I go for something lighter.
