  1. Carol - the original MILF.
  2. Buffalo William?
  3. He also joked that his memory of having written that song gradually became stronger with each royalty check.
  4. Bailey. Same reason as Mary Ann. Foursome.
  5. Considering the show, it was an excellent deal.
  6. ? Inflation overrules pro-rating. I paid $65 to see them in 2015.
  7. Mary Ann. Ginger was too high-maintenance. Tight-fitting short shorts should be called Mary Anns, not Daisy Dukes.
  8. I paid $15 to see The Who there in 1982.
  9. I watch the games in my living room, with a nice, tall Bloody Mary. (No mixes - I make mine from scratch.)
  10. I've seen American English (Beatles) and Kashmir (Led Zep). Both were good. I haven't seen either in person, but I've heard good recordings of Dark Star Orchestra and Joe Russo's Almost Dead, a couple of Grateful Dead tribute bands.
  11. I'm sure there's a lot of prep time in broadcasting too. But of the three choices, that's the one I'd pick.
  12. Commentating would be the least stressful - you work fewer hours and there really aren't any repercussions for mistakes. Whether that's the best post-playing career or not depends on the player, but I choose lower stress unless there's a good reason to take the stressful job.
  13. I had a colleague who suffered from depression. His friends tried to convince him to get help, but he declined. Last March he murdered his two sons and then committed suicide. This was a deeply religious man who loved his sons, frequently bragging (in a "good Dad" way) about their accomplishments. One day, for no apparent reason, he snapped. Mental illness is no laughing matter.
  14. You can almost make a case for two place kickers (one for FGs and one kickoff specialist), but two punters? No.
  15. Roger Goodell will send a similar tweet to Brady when he retires.
  16. "You ever faced certain death?" "If it was so certain, I wouldn't be here, would I?"
  17. He's also the most annoying kind of poker player - never revealing his hand until everyone calls...
  18. He didn't quit until the ball was in the air.
  19. So many other variables to consider, but the most important distinction between Allen and Leaf is work ethic. Allen has it; Leaf didn't.
  20. In real time it looked like a late hit, but the replay suggested that the defenders had already launched themselves before he went down. Technically, the hit was late since it came in after the QB was down, but I don't see how they could have avoided it.
  21. Allen has shown the ability to step up in the pocket, dodge defenders, scramble, and improvise. It definitely matters who is back there.
  22. Yeah, I think Groy, Mills, Miller, and Dawkins will be the starters. I suspect that Beane is looking at the LG options; Vlad lets the o-line get impaled.
