    I turned on the game late in the 1st quarter. Several times, they showed Fitz, called him by his full name, and showed his face. It wasn't until he threw a pick and I said, "Aw, Fitz!" that my wife asked, "Is that the Ryan Fitzpatrick who played for the Bills?"

    Agreed, but in the future, they might want to increase the distance between Josh and the receiver so it's totally obvious, even without a replay, that the ball goes forward. With or without the bad call, it seems like that would be safer anyway.

    That wasn't a spark - it was a freakin' blowtorch, and he lit it under the ass of every player on the team. Unfortunately, some of the receivers were wearing asbestos underwear.

    At some point in the game they showed this stat on the screen: Bills offense: 27 points. Vikes offense: 26 yards. I don't remember if Nantz or Romo commented on that.

    I agree, and that's a good reason to use Shady in the passing game. One more reason: Shady has better hands than our #1 WR.

    Something else that felt different: in the past, the Bills have had a penchant for reaching into the jaws of victory to snatch defeat. So much so that my definition of a "comfortable" lead is a 7-to-1 ratio: 7 points for every minute left in the game. Yesterday, about 3 minutes into the 3rd quarter, I felt very comfortable with a 1-to-1 ratio.

    I went with KC because I think the Vikes will rebound and take out the Rams. Either way, I expect the '72 Dolphins to break out the champagne after week 5.

    27-0 in the third quarter, after the Vikes finally get into Bills' territory for the first time: "This game's not over yet." The best one was in the 4th quarter after they scored a TD and set up for the 2-point conversion: "If they make this, and get two more TDs with 2-point conversions ... and a field goal ... then we're headed to overtime!"
