We have been under-sold on Shakir because of the coaching staff philosophy regarding rookies. He should start - and he'll be perfect. Every time he was able to get playing time, he showed what he can do. He has an electric skillset and will be a playmaker for us.

Diggs unfollows Buffalo, follows Cowgirls 🤷♂️

We'll love him again in September. -
You would have to be stoked about this pick if this guy fell to us at 27. Probably won't happen, but we could still build the line in rounds 2-4 and through FA, and we'd have an incredible duo w/ him & Cook. It would take a ton of pressure off of Allen. We'd have an actual running game.

Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
Success replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't disagree w/ a lot of that. They can't be JAG's. I also think Davis had a bad year, probably due to the injury, and still believe he can be a good receiver for us. If we invest in a WR, I'd prefer to see it in the draft. I see a few mocks w/ us going WR in the 1st, which wouldn't bother me (as long as 2 of the next 3 are O-line). -

I'm pretty against investing more cap dollars on skill players. The Pats (I know, I know) set the blueprint. They only went for one bigtime receiver while Brady was there, and notably, that did not yield a Lombardi. Build the line. If Allen has time - he can get the ball to anyone. -
Cheap Trick has always been considered to be one of the best live bands out there - even in recent years. I saw them about 5-6 years ago, and they were just great & a lot of fun. Zander is one of my favorite singers. I've seen older artists who kind of mail it in & are just touring for the paycheck. They don't do that, from what I could tell.

Is there any defensive player you'd be happy with at pick 27?
Success replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Honestly, all that matters is that we hit on the picks - especially in the early rounds. If we go w/ defense on our 1st pick, I don't really care that much (though I'd probably steer clear of this board for a day). What matters is that whoever we pick can step in as a rookie and make the kind of impact a 1st rounder should make. -
Per Shefty - Bills “expected to lose” Poyer and Edmunds
Success replied to BeastMode54's topic in The Stadium Wall
Checking around the internet, most NFL fans think that Edmunds will get a boatload of money from a team that has a lot more cap space. For another team, it would be similar to the kind of "big" signing we had during the drought - when we could overpay for a more marquee player, but still had a pretty flawed team. We're not that anymore. The more I think about it, the better I am with spending money where it is more needed. -

The sideline yelling at Allen during the Cincy game was the 1st time I related to all of the "warnings" from Vikings fans. I love Diggs, and he changed the culture here as much as anyone. But he needs to be more professional in those situations. Allen wasn't having any of it. And he should be going to the coaches or GM - the plays that he was open, Allen already had a guy in his face and in no way could have found him or passed accurately to him. We need to build the O-line. I actually hope Diggs is the last "big" investment we make in a skill player, in terms of FA or dollars (I'll always be fine using the draft for those positions). -
I don't know - if we can get Robinson, then go O-line in the next 2 rounds, that would be pretty cool. No trade-up, though.

We will. He was criticized here quite often - but he was an impactful player. We can't really replace him, but if we get a capable LB in FA or the draft, we'll be okay. Personally, I haven't given up on Bernard yet. -
This terrifies me a little. But I still like our chances for the division title & beyond. We would STILL have the best QB in the division, imo.

I've been pretty big on keeping Edmunds - but I'd also be okay if we used that money elsewhere. They can probably get another effective LB for half the price; not as impactful as Edmunds, but we don't necessarily need that if we shore up other areas.- 256 replies

This won't happen - but I do like to think about how the rest of the league's fans would react. They'd be terrified if they saw this headline.

Not judging anyone, because I know other fans feel this way - but I can't relate to it. It sounds like spoiled Pats fans after they won 4-5 of their Super Bowls. I love regular season games, and will love them again this year. I suppose an element of "prove you can do it in January" will be somewhere in the back of my mind, but if we beat KC at KC, or Cincy at Cincy, or both? I'll be ecstatic. Those will be outstanding Sundays (or Mondays). -
It's interesting - I actually think the team that won the SB this past year was the weakest of their "dynasty" era. But the stars aligned at the right time for them. Of course, they'll continue to be a force - but I'm more worried about Cincy this coming season, and even a team like the Jets if they get a good QB.

If it's a Herschel Walker kind of deal, where we get 11 picks or something like that, and they throw in Parsons - you'd have to consider it. -
R.I.P. I was a HUGE Skynyrd fan growing up. Not as much anymore - but their music still holds up to this day. Great band, and he really did a great job of carrying on their legacy. He always seemed really easygoing in interviews, too. We'll remember you, Gary.

Report: Dolphins exploring “moving on” from Tua
Success replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
That would for sure be concerning. But that would still be a short-term thing. And he isn't as good as he was. But he'd still make that team very tough for a year or 2. -

Success replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
The division looks a LOT easier if Tua is on another team, the Jets are still trying to figure out their situation, and Mac Jones is still floating passes for the Pats. -
Yeah - because we've never seen great & good NFL coaches make mistakes. Just doesn't happen.

If every Bills fan felt sure that we'd win the Super Bowl next year - we would. Conversely, if we're already talking about a 'scapegoat' for failure, we'll create that reality. Quantum science.

We might not be THAT far from a solid O-line. Ike is good, versatile depth. Bates can be that - or even a good starter. We don't need a left tackle - Dawkins is very good, and will start regardless. A lot of our line woes can improve significantly if Brown starts achieving the potential that everyone sees consistently, and we draft a guard in the 1st or 2nd (who pans out).
-
Glad to see this - he is solid, and versatile.
