  1. To piggy back off this, the best, most consistent players we have on defense were not big FAs or first/second round picks. Milano - R5 Bernard - R3 Hyde - Not a top tier FA Poyer - Wasn’t even considered a good player when we signed him. Jones - Solid, but not a top tier FA Benford - R6 Douglas - Really struggled early in his career, R3 pick traded. Dodson - UDFA Johnson - R4 Epenesa - R2 Ed looked good last year, but took 2-3 years to develop. Groot looks good. Edmunds took 2-3 years to develop into a game manager MLB.
  2. Seriously, don’t rule it out. - Great hands - Experience in slot and outside - RZ success - Good blocker (I believe) That is the exact player they like as a WR 4. He signed a 1 year 870k contract, you could offer 1 year 950k and let him compete. I think he could over take Hardy.
  3. Cheap WR 4 option: Isaiah Hodgins
  4. Does it really? Is it just PC?
  5. Basically, confirmation bias rules the thread. If your opinion is that Diggs is a problem, you will see reasons why. If your opinion is that he isn’t a problem, you will see reasons for that instead. Y’all have fun arguing over nothing *hat tip*
  6. What? 77 targets, 47 receptions (61%), 600 yards, 4 TDs in 8 playoff games. That’s 6 catches for 75 yards a game on average. Let me guess, not good enough.
  7. 1 more season. It’ll be hilarious if the Bills hire a defensive minded HC again though.
  8. Still waiting for KC to cut Travis Kelce…
  9. Even saving the 5m, you eat 24m. All this because he won’t answer the medias same three questions 500 times. Are you happy? Hows your relationship with Josh? About your brother…
  10. Gabe Davis will be next years Isaiah Hodgins, who’s a free agent BTW… I would not be AT ALL shocked to see Hodgins return this summer to be the teams Redzone/#4 WR.
  11. Oh they are homers for sure, but I dig it. If I need some Buffalo Bills doom and gloom, I just come here lol
  12. It’s been discussed on Locked On/Cover 1 at length, there is no way to move on from Diggs the next 2 seasons without eating an absolute ungodly amount of dead cap. Take a listen if you want, they explain it better than I can.
  13. And moving on from him post 6/1 jams up the dead cap next season. 2024 is the first year of his extension, there is virtually no way to move on from Diggs the next 2 seasons without killing the Cap.
  14. Sounds like a great way to lose a trade. Not to mention, he has a 2024 cap hit of 24 million dollars, and is 20+ next year as well I’d love to see it happen, I just see no realistic, plausible way that it does. Bills would need to clear 70+ in cap JUST to add him.
  15. Has WTF given any signs they want to move on from him? They have an opt out clause for 2025, but that’s it. They release him this year they save 5m, but eat 29. Makes no sense to move on.
  16. Great video, his highlights are All-Pro level but man is he inconsistent. I wouldn’t be shocked to see him go to Baltimore to reunite with Chad Hall.
  17. He isn’t a horrible tackler, just isn’t super physical at times. His missed tackle percentage is only slightly higher than Hyde, Poyer, and Johnson. I’d sacrifice some physicality on the back end to add some athleticism.
  18. Definitely, I don’t think the team wants to cut him. I think they’ll request a payout and experiment with him replacing Hyde this year.
  19. The Tre White situation is going to be the fascinating storyline. He was injured in week 5, realistically he should be full go (or close to it) by training camp. You release him, you still pay him 10 million while freeing up 6 million in cap. You can restructure, but that makes moving on harder in the future. You can also negotiate a pay cut, Cover-1 speculates that could open up 3-4 million and you can experiment with where Tre lines up next season. He has the reputation of being a less than willing tackler, but his missed tackle percentages are just slightly higher than Hyde, Poyer, and Johnson since 2018. Imagine, for a second, healthy Tre White playing open range Free Safety. NO ONE is going deep.
  20. Josh Allen, Ed Oliver, Dawson Knox, Matt Milano, and Conor McGovern restructuring opens quite a bit of cap space. As mentioned, Dion Dawkins, Taron Johnson and Rasule Douglas extensions make sense. I have no doubt Tre White takes a pay cut to help the team, maybe they add a year to his deal to spread it out. Deonte Hardy is a cut candidate, but I can see him taking a pay cut as well.
  21. I misread the title and thought they did at first 🤦🏻
