  1. Also, I must say: 52 looks kind of cool on Big Phil.
  2. That the results aren't good, or that he'd replace Shavers?
  3. I think both team's strategies the last few years is go vanilla in the regular season during this matchup.
  4. 2 - From what I understand, guys are getting open, but not consistently. Trust issue Josh and scheme issues? 6 - IIRC, Oliver was being blocked in the back while he one arm grabbed the opponent who moved the opposite direction. The added force from the block on Olivers direction lead to the injury. I may be wrong, though. 7+8 - Absolutely, their PT should increase. I thought Poyer looked good vs the run, though. 9 - Buffalo Joe is a bit of a liability IMO, but I'd love to see Bernard get some looks in Milano's role and leave Shaq at true Mike. 10 - I think McD calling the plays should get credit for the productive day as well. He's a great playcaller.
  5. We've seen Davis as the other primary boundary WR, the results aren't good. Davis would be replacing Shavers.
  6. To a degree, I actually agree. For all the hate McD gets, Bean should get the equal amount, maybe more. A lot of his decisions and comments have aged like milk.
  7. I have no hardcore stats to back this up, just assumptions and snap counts: My assumption is Gabe was WR4 his first and second season. He played 73% and 53% of the snaps. Allen was picked off 4 times targeting him is rookie year, and twice his sophomore season. Gabe had a nice jump in efficiency from year one to year two with catch and drop rate. Year 3 and 4 I believe he was the primary WR2. His snap counts jumped to 91% and 83% (over 920 snaps each season). Allen was picked off targeting him 6 times each year. So there is evidence to support that a healthy Gabe Davis could benefit the offense in a positive way, assuming mentally he's also recovered.
  8. As WR2 As WR4, Gabe was quite dynamic.
  9. Last year: 5% 55.6%
  10. I 100% agree with you. To me, it's no coincidence that our best passing game came when we had actual investments in WR. That's just common sene. The offense is built on the potential of Palmer, Coleman, and Kincaid. Allen only seems to trust one of those men so far. I just don't know if the Bills would bench Coleman so soon, but I think he's been a disappointment to the team on and off the field. Beane's ego is also riding on this, after his little tirade this summer. To trade for a WR would be to admit he was wrong. Fascinating to see if he'd do it.
  11. 16% drop rate... 49% catch rate...
  12. Worth noting, it's not like Brady and Dorsey were bargain bin OCs. Their resumes were legitimate. Not sure what the answer is, and I can't help but find myself being critical of Beane when I think about it.
  13. I'd be shocked, honestly. Means you bench Palmer or Coleman. If they trade for a WR and bench Coleman, that could signal they've given up on him and I'm not sure they have. WR4 is the only spot I can see.
  14. The world where the Bills are better off without stiff AFC East competition does not exist.
  15. Give how much critical, foundation building time that he has missed, I thought he looked outstanding.
  16. Time to burn another 3rd round pick on an aging rental WR! This passing attack looks exactly like it did pre-Cooper trade, only this year the #4 WR isn't a threat deep.
  17. An Edge is an Edge no matter the defensive alignment, otherwise it's easier than DE/OLB
  18. I've noticed he takes a long while to warm up to new WRs, and he's playing like he doesn't trust anyone who isn't Kincaid or Shakir.
  19. That's fine, we need to stop over reacting to that. Frazier, a long time HC/DC, was a terrible playcaller. Babs is super young, let McD "work with him." McD is a great defensive playcaller.
  20. The amount of people who take McD's pressers literal and not vague coach talk is hilarious. Dude has every reason to play coy with the starter at SS. Make the Panthers study Poyer, Hancock, and Lewis.
  21. I can't name a single opponent injured by Rapp, just our guys lol
  22. Hot takes are easier than common sense.
  23. Dabs is part of that tree, that's it though. Doesn't mean a ton, Belicheck's tree is pretty awful looking. I will admit, I thought the list of OCs that JA has gotten HC jobs would be higher.
