Ed Oliver in walking boot..per Matt Parrino
TheyCallMeAndy replied to Watching since 1964's topic in The Stadium Wall
I imagine Jordan Phillips will be active with Oliver out. Huge blow. -

For those who haven't watched the highlights on YouTube 100x already lol -
Have the Jets ever felt like a real rival?
TheyCallMeAndy replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah because we definitely don't have the equivalent lol Jets have never been the main antagonist, but they have been worthy opponents. -
I think the defense will come out looking to correct the narrative. Plus, they know Hall gives them fits. Strong, I imagine, could also be a dark horse NB starter.
-
Last time I checked, we are quite good at doing both.

Bills Tryout CB Andrew Booth Jr. (amongst others)
TheyCallMeAndy replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wasn't Stonehouse a beast of a punter his first few seasons? -
This should be a big Dorian Williams game as the Jets have a pretty physical run game.
-
Don't throw the kitchen sink for a regular season game. They likely meet again, they'll need weird wrinkles again.
-
Lead the team in receptions, it was just on the same pass attempt lol.

A Thank You to the designers of TBD

TBD mobile webpage is elite as well. Now all TBD needs is an app -
The fact we didn't hear Mahommes mentioned once is more shocking and improbable than the comeback

When your LBers are 220, and your DL is completely dominated, it's going to be a rough night. They played poorly on top of that scenario, minus Williams. He seemed like he wanted to hit Henry.

Getting way ahead of myself: If Strong is competent and when Max is healthy, I wouldn't be horribly surprised if Tre was released and added to the practice squad (the role I thought he'd have this year). How often does the healthy CB4 dress if they don't play special teams? Ingram would be the active CB4 on gameday. One play in Q4 stands out, showed some agility I didn't realize he had!
-
Bosa guilty of that as well.

Uncle Tre can take as long as he needs to heal up, definitely want to see Strong get more reps. Imagine having 2 legitimate CBs who had been 6th round picks.

That is insane 🤯 Means Taron Johnson or Benford was eaten alive by Flowers
-
Waiting for the All-22 reviews, but my guess is run defense was very poor for both.
-
Really? I didn't notice another CB out there?

There is nothing that happened last night that a 35 year old, athletically declined Poyer or a 195 pound rookie would have done with an untouched 260 pound future HOF RB running full steam at them. I'm very curious for the All-22 film to come out. I think the rookies (43, 98, 96) and LBers will grade out worse than the safeties. It starts upfront, eye test says it was a rough day on the DL for everyone not named Ed Oliver. That sets the stage for LB failure as well.

I would agree with this, Bass has a high percentage that fade.
-
They very well may be! Dalton had himself a game too.

Baltimore has, and is, been the worst matchup for the Bills defense. Their offense is huge (RB, FB, OL) and fast (QB, RB, WRs). Bills defense is undersized (LB, DT) but fast. Bad combo, especially if you are a 425 base.
-
None of the above. Rapp is who he is, Bishop needs reps, he won't magically reach his potential sitting on the sideline. It just wasn't just or safeties last night, the whole defense looked bad and most do vs Ravens. They made it happen when it mattered, though. If Rapp/Bishop still look bad in Oct, then we have a problem.

Anyone remember that SNL Tebow/Broncos skit? "Matt Prater, I pray to you brother"
