Observations this half: 1. Allen seems to have shaken most of the rust off from week 1. He’s poised, accurate, and has thrown the ball away when necessary. Excellent decision making thus far. 2. We are carving them up through the air, and yet all 3 scores have been runs. I expect next half to have one in the air, but great job offensively on getting the plays made when needed. Great job on third down overall. 3. Love Cody Ford going to bat for his QB. Don’t mind the penalty here and I would expect most of the O-line to be there for him- Cody just took initiative. That should’ve been roughing the passer. 4. Oliver is as advertised and I can’t believe he was there at 9. One of my favorite draft picks ever based on potential. He’s going to be the cornerstone of this defense in 2 years (if not sooner) 5. Defense shrugged off the early breakdown and have been solid ever since. We’ve got a great squad and I’m going to love being underrated all year and surprising our opponents. 6. Would like to see singletary getting more involved- but props to him on TD1. Awesome job. I think by week 10 we see him as the predominant runner for this offense

Time to get to one of those Chinese websites to snag a Braves jersey- that way you can still get some sweet Buffalo Basketball swag without forking over to the league that stole them away from Buffalo lol. (I’m not condoning that, but it IS technically an option) Because losing the braves is a cut that won’t heal

I can easily say for the first time in a long while there isn’t anyone on this team I want to see leave after cuts. I get this sense that there’s a really deep bond between these guys, and the cuts are really going to hurt. Tonight the Bills did something they haven’t done in a long time- went undefeated in the Preseason. While to 53 players this won’t mean all that much, there are some who played their last NFL game tonight. It’s a very sad sentiment, but to go out with a win at home has got to be the way to do it if you could have it your way. Cheers to this team, this staff, and these players for putting something great together. Enjoy this night- you have all earned it.

Solid move. Keep a proven kicker as long as possible. Even if he starts to slow down it’s better to be in this position than a team like Chicago.

I mean, they wanted a WR and are now in need of a RB. We have a few to spare at both positions and can offer a pick as well. We actually have some pieces we can afford to part with in order to get Clowney. His inability to negotiate is going to reduce the asking price. If we sent Zay and one of our more established RB’s we can probably make the pick conditional and see where it gets us. Yeldon to me makes more sense than Gore or Shady since he’s a bit younger and has great hands to help Watson out. These are guys who are on the bubble as it is- if we can get something for them before being potentially cut lets see what it can do for us. I think Zay still has a place here, but we have a serviceable WR to fill in if he leaves, and the RB room is too crowded to not lose some serious talent- I don’t think we can ship Shady or Gore because of their age, so Yeldon makes the most sense.
