I love the Beane /McDermott combo but I don't have to agree with everything they do, i do however have no choice so I'm along for the ride...Good or bad! -

BOLD draft predictions!
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No RB gets selected in Round 1 6 Cornerbacks get selected in round 1 1 of the big QB's fall out of round 1 -
Pissing away our future assets for a TE would be the old Bills way, I'd like to think we've learned from our past mistakes. This is around the spot where we found Tre White. At this spot it looks like a CB/RB/Pass Rusher/ OL will be BPA when we pick. No need to waste future picks for a TE who may or may not pan out, if we're going to trade this and next years 1st I'd rather get a young stud pass rusher (like the Chiefs/Ravens Deal).

Who is the Bills Weakest Starter?
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I believe we'll go corner at #30 Asante Samuel Jr. perhaps? And I think we trade up in round 2 to select a pass rusher, maybe Ronnie Perkins. -
Who are the 49er's going to take at 3

I would say by the type of QB Shannon has worked with that Mac Jones is the guy... Matt Ryan, Kirk Cousins, traded for Jimmy G, I think Jones is more like these guys than Fields imo. -
Bills prospect OT Liam Eichenberg

It seems like every player I like in this years draft has injury concerns. -

Landon Dickerson is my favorite OL in this draft, he's literally played every position on the line at some point. Very versatile player imo and you can never have too many good OL. -
All hopes pinned on Star?

Why would our hopes be pinned on a run stuffing DT? -
WHat could Singletary realistically fetch in a trade? He ran for 687 yards and 2 TD, has yet to crack 1,000 yard season. Maybe a 5th rounder if were lucky, I just think he's been under utilized here due to our QB. Most RB's need the carries to get going and he just doesn't get enough and now with Moss and now Breida in the fold it will be more of the same. He means more to us imo than some mid to late round draft pick.

My opinion on Clowney is that even if he doesn't get to the QB on a regular basis he's actually very good against the run, that's why I like him. Is that a reason to spend big money on a player who has been injured the past 2 seasons? I'm not sure but I think he'd make our defense better if he can stay healthy. For 9.5M that Jerry Hughes makes we should be getting Justin Houston type of production. The games that I watched , I noticed Mario Addison more disruptive than Jerry Hughes (I don't remember the exact games as it was last season), Now I also think for what we're paying Addison he should be getting to the QB more also but like I said I saw him in the QB's general area more often than not.

Does TE Pitts Make this Offense Elite?
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to Rebel101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I could have sworn I heard this from so many posters in Eric Ebron's draft year. Tight Ends don't usually come in and dominate right away, Pitts could be the exception but I'm going to go out on the limb and say he struggles in year 1. -
We should be looking at any pass rusher at this point.... Houston's decline was better than our entire individual DL last season. Hughes is barely noticeable but Addison still looked good at times. We need Epenesa to take the next step big time this year and hopefully we draft another in the first 2 rounds but Houston, Clowney, Aldon Smith, Melvin Ingram (not sure he's a great fit scheme wise), imo any one of those guys would be great additions.
