  1. A former RB who has been an every down starter, we already have Singletary who showed great promise but because he's not fast we're replacing him? Because those guys you're mentioning are top round players (1-2) most of them.
  2. I'm not sure what this is supposed to mean. We need our backup RB to scare people? He's had over 4.0 YPC average all but 1 season, is some rookie RB going to scare defenses? How about just getting a great fit and that's exactly what Jordan would be imo.
  3. Saying CB is BPA before the draft not even knowing who is on the board doesn't make a bit of sense. They will take BPA according to THE BUFFALO BILLS board not some draft guru and Beane himself has said on plenty of occasions that if BPA is close between a player that also tends to be a position of need, then he'll go that route.
  4. Wow this guy already knows the position that is going to fall at #22 before it happens, what are the winning lotto numbers?
  5. I just don't agree, 1 season of mediocre play in his contract year doesn't make up for the rest that was below average.
  6. I think RB Jordan Howard will be an excellent fit here, he only started 4 games but played in 10 last season for Philly but still managed over 500 yards, 4.4 yards per carry and 6 TD, only 1 season so far under 4 yards per carry and has never had less than 6 TD. I think because of the lack of playing time he can be had for a 1 year prove it deal. I also think and I don't think they'd be under the radar but my wish list would definitely include either Jadaveon Clowney or Arik Armstead. If we cut Trent Murphy and lose Shaq Lawson we might also want to add Adrian Clayborn. he's not a huge stat guy but he gets a bunch of pressure. My real under the rating signing would be backup QB, if there is ever a season to get a guy to be a solid backup to Allen I think that's Case Keenum. He's had a productive career. I don't think he's a guy you want starting a whole season but I think he'd be a heck of an upgrade over Barkley imo.
  7. I'd say a 99.9% percent chance we don't take a RB. I do believe they'll sign a compliment to Singletary in FA, I'm thinking Jordan Howard is the perfect candidate. He had a down year, he's been an every down back a few years ago with Chicago and would probably be had for a 1 year prove it. He;d be the bruiser/goaline back getting the tough yards and Singletary will do the rest. He would be a great fit here imo.
  8. My hope that it's an expensive contract but on a division rivals team like the Jets because paying Lawson would be a mistake imo.
  9. I just don't see us taking a WR round 1 when all the experts have said there are go to guys deep until the 3-4 rounds plus there is a major glaring need that will most likely fit BPA at pick 22 with guys like Apenesa, Chiasson to name a few although Chiasson is a bit raw for my liking there is no denying he's a freak athlete. Should be a great draft for our needs since we need pass rushers and WR.
  10. I don't see any way you pay big money to both Hyde and Poyer, Johsnon will replace him in 2 seasons imo. He's a solid player but you can't sign them all, groom Johnson to replace him and keep the machine running. You don't need to overpay for the position.
  11. I'd say Rivera is going 99.9% Chase Young, he's a special talent and they are very hard to come by. That DL would vault into the 49ers territory. So many smokescreen stories happening in every organization.
  12. He wasn't in a good scheme fit in Washington but also looked slow and sluggish, The scheme fit you can change but the slow and sluggish part hmmm. It's a low level signing much like Kevin Johnson was last year that could prove to be a solid pickup who both McDermott and Beane are comfortable with so I don't see the downside to this unless he quits at halftime.
  13. I doubt the Bills spend a huge amount of their cap on a WR after going after the position last season and in a draft year where there are plenty of solid options throughout, just my opinion. To me the main target will most likely be edge rusher, Corner opposite white. I'm not sure they will be high profile names and I'm cool with that. Possibly a RB also.
  14. I mean we spend a top 9 draft pick on Oliver and a 3rd rounder on Harrison Phillips, those 2 are the future here I'd assume. It would have been nice to re-sign Phillips but he out played the price tag we were willing to pay at a position we already invested in. Hopefully the combo of Phillips and Oliver are as good as the combo this past year.
  15. I don't agree with David Johnson at all (Seriously what is this fan bases obsession with the RB position?), he wouldn't be a compliment to Devin Singletary he would be his replacement and at this stage of his career I think Singletary may be the better player especially for the price Johnson would come at. Why not draft a big bruising back that can bull people over for those tough yards in like the 4th-7th rounds? Get a compliment to Singletary who looked absolutely like he belonged in this league in just about every game he played in including the playoff game. Antonio Brown is done in this league. You heard it here first I think Olson coming in would be more of e mentoring role at this stage for him with some obvious playing time as well, I see no harm in this move. I never thought about Andy Dalton but that would be an excellent pickup for us and he was already happy that our fan base donated to his charity, I think it would be an excellent fir for both sides and he would be an incredible backup for us who can win us some games if need be. I agree an edge rusher or rush LB are on the top of the wish list, they have to be. GO BILLS!!!!
  16. We just spent a #9 overall pick on Ed Oliver, invested in Harrison Phillips and signed FA Star Loutleilei. The main priority #1 at this point has to be getting to the QB with not 1 but multiple edge rushers. Not only do I think we pick 1 up in FA but I also think we draft 1 in round 1 (My choice is Yetur Gross-Matos) as I think Hughes' best days are behind him and Trent Murphy didn't pan out.
  17. I'm not a fan of trading a 1st for Golladay and making him a top paid WR in the league I just don't see him being that elite #1 WR, he's very good but we already have that in Brown and he's nowhere near the top paid. John Brown Stats- 72 catches, 1,060, 6 TD Kenny Golladay - 65 catches, 1,190, 11 TD The difference to me is John Brown has been working with Josh Allen for 1 season and Golladay has been working with Stafford since 2017, I just don't think I'm giving up assets for a very good WR, just my opinion.
  18. So were going to overpay or trade assets away to a position where we have a nice young player in Knox who actually looked pretty darn good right out of the gate? This is usually not the case with the TE position as it can be very complex as a rookie. He looked pretty darn good to me, I'd much rather just continue developing both Sweeney and Knox instead of burying him on the depth chart to some bum like OJ Howard or an oft injured Hunter Henry. If we go after anyone at the position I think Cameron Brate is a super under rated TE, he would be the only one I'd spend the money on but that's just my opinion.
  19. The last start up league had weird camera angles and it didn't feel like a professional game to me, this had the look and feel of a real somewhat NFL type of game, the crowd was really into it and I actually enjoyed watching it. I was thinking hehateme was going to come running out of the tunnel but that never happened. Hopefully this league will stick, it doesn't need to be the NFL we just need quality football after the Superbowl and leading up to the draft and into the summer.
  20. The absolute worst for franchises is when your owner wants someone, they really need to step aside and let the guys who know what they're doing pick the players. I'm not saying this guy can't be a great NFL QB but this screams of Mitch Tubisky coming out of college raw with 1 year of tape, granted Mitch didn't throw for 60 TD and only 6 INT but they're also very similar in the fact they don't have rocket arms. If the Bengals like Tua or Herbert and the Dolphins offer them multiple first they may be very wise to pass on this guy.
  21. I mean it's not necessarily true that if Allen doesn't take a giant leap forward that he wont amount to anything. Ben Roethlisberger regressed bad in his 3rd year after game managing the first 2, it wasn't until year 4 where he truly became Big Ben. Andy Reid is a hell of a teacher for QB's especially and always surrounds himself with great coaches. I'm not sure if Daboll is the right coach to tudor Josh Allen, his play calling is very bland imo.
  22. So drop an a guy who is an injury risk for a guy with an even worse track record of being injured? He had talent years ago but injuries likely wiped most of that away from him imo.
