  1. A tragedy narrowly averted. He's only gotten to play 1 game in his career so far, 13 touches 83 yds 2tds. That deserves another look. I say keep him around, he's young and could be good. He's already flashed some talent and knows where the end zone is, plus he's a Williams. 😉
  2. Maybe the coach scored a 15 and is a dumbass. A 28 on the wonderlic means he scored higher than 80% of the people tested, a decent score and well above average intelligence.
  3. Jackson will be re-signed at similar to Josh numbers I think. I don't think he is necessarily worth that but he is worth a helluva lot more than Mayfield. I would dump Mayfield but I'm hoping he gets a big extension and they are mired in mediocrity for years to come.
  4. I just saw accuweather calling for 22mph wind with 40 mph gusts in the afternoon. Good thing the Jets have a bottom 5 run defense. If the Bills aren't building a dome they really need a great offensive line and that's all there is to it. It's nice they could finally run the ball but Atl is also a bottom 5 run defense. They need to do that against much better competition in the playoffs to win at home in those conditions. A team like Indy,( tops in rushing, top 5 stopping the run), would be a major problem in that wind.
  5. I'm hoping he is their QB for the next 10 years
  6. Stephensons shaky, no idea why they leave him back there. On the fumble he turned away from the hit and exposed the football to it. Ball security is A1 attribute and is all that matters to me when fielding punts (especially outdoors this time of year) Put whoever's best at safely catching the ball and making good decisions back there. Give the offense the ball and let them score points.
  7. The Toilet Bowl The turd qbing the Steelers is done and Mayfield will have Cleveland mired in mediocrity as long as he's there.
  8. I definitely prefer the aggressive approach; especially with how explosive the Bills offense can be. I'd rather get off the field quicker. The soft d is like dying the 'death of a thousand cuts' and keeps the Bills offense off the field too long. It drives me crazy watching them give up first downs underneath while the secondary plays behind the line to gain. Giving the Bills offense more opportunities at the cost of giving up an occasional big play on defense is a winning trade.
  9. https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/vernon-butler/10664 Vernon Butler ranked 130th out of 130 DTs 😂 ~$6 million cap hit Let's just consider this year's $6mil a retirement gift from Beane and retire Butler. I don't ever want to see him on the field in a Bills jersey again.
  10. Happy New Year from Oregon fellow Bills fans! Let's Go Buff a lo !! !!!
  11. Breeland is 2nd in league in tds allowed, almost leads the league in missed tackles (13 of 68 att, over 17%) and has allowed passer rating of ~110. He is literally one of the worst CBs in the league this year. I'd rather see what the backups can do.
  12. Don't forget the Bills passing on Creed Humphrey in the draft allowing the Chiefs to finish their o line rebuild with the best interior lineman in the league this year. He will anchor their line for years to come. The Bills picked their 2nd consecutive DE instead, Basham. That said Breeland has been terrible this year and would be no help to the Bills.
  13. I agree that the Bills better bring their A game, these are obviously must wins. The Falcons and the Jets are 2 of if not the 2 worst defenses in the entire league. Their offenses are not much better. I fully expect the Bills to destroy both of these teams by at least 2 touchdowns. I don't feel that's being overconfident, these teams are terrible and if the Bills don't dominate they're not ready for a playoff run imo.
  14. He's the league leader in yards before catch and avg depth of target, Allen's passer rating is higher when targeting him than it is targeting Diggs or Beasley(who's lowest on the team). He's also fast, perhaps not as fast as he once was but he was faster than any Bills receiver coming into the league. I think it would be wise to rest him until the playoffs. He's not washed, he's a little beat up and worn down. He could make some timely big plays in the playoffs imo.
  15. i think that is what happens. I see the Dolphins and Bengals both winning and Raiders facing the Colts without Wentz have a good shot I think. They'll need to sell out to stop the run and double AJ. I think the Titans are not very scary without Henry and I'm fairly confident the Bills will beat them if they meet again.
  16. McKenzie was dynamic, focused, explosive and efficient today, what a great game!
  17. Amazing play at a crucial moment. Allen's focused willpower slowed time and he warped space sliding between the defenders; then he sped up and they crashed into each other. ☺ Magic! What a great move and what inner drive.
  18. Kudos to the line, they dug deep and really came through today. Proud of the whole teams' effort, they played with a lot of heart and a cohesive will. Great game.
  19. SB window is closed? OK Nostradumbas GTFOH
  20. KC picked Creed Humphrey in the 2nd round right after the Bills didn't and picked Basham instead. Humphrey is the top rated interior lineman in the NFL by a long shot in his rookie season, quite possibly a generational talent. The Bills decided to spend their 1st and 2nd rnd picks on DEs because you can take 2 in a row when you have no holes or weaknesses on your roster. Unfortunately the Bills did have holes and weaknesses.
  21. I think he's still sleeping. His alarm didn't go off.
  22. Must be PFF They have him rated the 48th best T out of 83 so far this year. Maybe Spencer Brown should have made it too cause he's such a beast, he's rated 73rd out of 83.😂
  23. I'm not feeling emotional at all and I agree having a great defense also helps the offense and is also vitally important to the team. I'm just disagreeing that the Bills are as good as last year when it's obvious to me they are not and like I said I am not at all surprised because of the reasons stated. I'm still hoping for the best and I don't see an absolutely dominant team out there so anything can happen. p.s. do you think the Bills actually have the best defense in the league? I don't. The 5th easiest schedule so far has helped them look better than they are imo.
