Why no resistance or coverage at the line? time was everything at that point. Why protect the sideline when KC has 3 timeouts and only 13 secs? The list goes on and on Bottom line, what the ***** were they thinking ?? ? They need to answer imo, before just moving on to next year as if that idiocy never happened.

McDermott won't say anything because there's nothing he can say. How can he possibly explain that sequence? There is no explanation that will make any sense.

I think Beane has had mixed results like any GM. Allen definitely makes up for a few bad picks. One pick that really bothered me though and had a huge effect on the last game was taking a 2nd DE in a row and passing on C/G Creed Humphrey in the 2nd round last draft. KC took him right after the Bills took Basham. He anchored their line all year and completed their amazing one year rebuild. Multiple outlets rated him #1 center in the league this year. The Bills had a chance to add one of the top interior lineman in the league, a position of great need, and let him fall to their biggest AFC obstacle whose oline was in shambles. If Humphrey was on the Bills line instead of KCs...... Nothing against Basham but another DE with that pick was a luxury and a wasted opportunity to add top talent to the o line and deny their rival the same.

Why? They still have to score a TD either way. It's a little easier to go 50 yards than 75 yards but that's the only difference. Neither is definite, one is more probable. You're no Einstein, quit kidding yourself.

The coaches were exposed as morons, plain and simple.

Chiefs gained 560 yards, Mahomes QBR was near perfect, not a single pass was defensed out of 44, Hill had one of his biggest games of the year, Kelce had only 4 bigger games out of 19 played and you don't think the Bills would change how they defended them? (or in this case how they didn't defend them) You really believe the Bills wouldn't like to have done it differently? That's just ridiculous.

After playing one of the easiest schedules in the league the Bills d ended the season #1 in total defense and scoring. This may not be a popular take but I'm hoping Frazier moves on. His style of defense allows 8 minute drives and keeps the Bills offense off the field when they're playing against a good offense. With a guy like Allen who can score points in bunches you need a more aggressive approach to getting the ball back imo. You may give up a big play once in a while but the extra possessions for Josh will more than make up for that. The soft d works fine against lousy qbs who can't sustain drives but Frazier shows no ability to adjust his approach against the better qbs. This embarrassing soft shell defense that blew the game last night in historic fashion has got to go. I can't stand to watch them concede yardage all the way up the field to the more efficient qbs, it's like the death of a 1,000 cuts. It seemed to me that the defense was more successful when they employed a more aggressive approach vs those qbs . They didn't go into the game with a confident 'We 're gonna kick your ass' approach. They went into it with a 'we 're scared of you' approach which showed no confidence in the players and put them on their heals. The result was 560 yards of offense allowed with not a single pass defensed out of 44 passes. Then the humiliating failure to defend 2 plays and 13 secs. To add to that failure and humiliation the defense appeared to be concerned with guarding the sideline to prevent KC from getting out of bounds. KC had 3 TOs and only 13 seconds to play! What a bunch of ***** morons! Inexcusable!

So the Bills played a soft zone instead of a more aggressive approach because they were scared of Mahomes and Hill. Mahomes throws for 378 yards, 3 tds and 128. passer rating; Hill gets 11 catches 150 yards and a TD. The defense offered little resistance and didn't defend a single pass all night. The Bills d just conceded yards all night long because they were scared. That is ***** embarrassing just letting them have their way out of fear. What a bunch of pussies the coaches are. I felt embarrassed by their cowardice and lack of faith in their team. Mahomes is a ***** hero now because he threw 2 passes to wide open guys while under no pressure. Allen had to move Heaven and Earth to get them the lead and the coaches gutlessly just give away the game and the heroic accolades with no resistance at all. I am beyond disgusted. GTFOH with that scared, embarrassing defense. It wasn't an embarrassment to lose, it was an embarrassment to play so scared with no courage or faith in your team. Inexcusable.

Epic 13 second collapse in front of the world. I've never seen a defense play so soft or so stupidly. They weren't even guarding anyone near the line, just hanging out 20 yards back waiting for Hill or Kelce to run past them with a full head of steam. Meanwhile they're idiotically protecting the sidelines to keep them in bounds, when KC had all 3 timeouts and only 13 secs to play. Are the ***** coaches mentally challenged? No shame. Professional embarrassment to last a lifetime though. I'm embarrassed and I'm just an unknown fan. It's inexplicable. They're gonna be really uncomfortable trying to explain their thinking in that 13 seconds. That was farcical. Unfortunately after the most heroic performance by a QB I've ever witnessed.

apologies if I'm wrong but the interpretation I read earlier is the first time it's 5 yards. The 2nd time (it's still the same down) it's 15 and time back. I've seen defenses commit multiple fouls on the same play a hundred times and that 15 yard and time put back never applied.

did you even read the rule? you don't want to look like a dummy You can tackle all the receivers once. The clock runs down during the play and you get a 5 yard penalty. If you do it again it is a 15 yard and no time off clock. They could have done it on first down and run however much time Mahomes allows to run off the clock. He might have run around wasting time or took off running. Time run off the clock and only a 5 yard penalty. Then they have one play left to get in fg position from their own 30. If they had kicked it off high to the 10 even more time is off the clock or worse field position. The coaches make millions and didn't even know enough to do that. That was such a weak and pathetic defense. KC conceded nothing and the Bills fought for every yard down the stretch. Then the coaches just play 25 yards deep and hand them the game with virtually no resistance. These coaches embarrassed themselves for life and we will have to hear about it and see it over and over again for many years. They completely failed the team, the city and its fans.

The coaching was an embarrassment and the NFL OT rules are stupid. These things aren't mutually exclusive. They shouldn't change the rule because the Bills lost. Change the rule because it's stupid, it's always been stupid; it was so stupid they changed it and made it slightly less stupid, but it's still stupid.

The coaches were scared and played soft d all night to be 'safe'. You don't win Championships playing it safe and being soft.

I know. It was an amazing game that ended in an historic collapse. I wish we could enjoy and appreciate more what a thrilling game it was as well. The fact is that thanks to coaching stupid and scared, it will be remembered as one of the worst collapses in playoff history. That's not hyperbole or an exaggeration.

The coaches having no balls, playing a soft defense and giving the game away in the most idiotic fashion in the last 13 seconds took some of the enjoyment away evidently. Go figure. You are right. That completely sucks.

They literally could have grabbed and tackled to the ground every single Chief receiver for 2 plays and then let them throw a Hail Mary. Anything but what they did probably would have worked.

The coach had the All-Pro safeties lined up 25 yards down the field just to be 'safe'. No guts, no glory. In this case it's 'no guts, historic collapse and humiliation'.

The utter lack of courage by the coaches on the 13 second drive has made the Bills a poster child for blowing a big game. Allen and the offense showed amazing courage scoring twice in the last few minutes. The coaches were so absolutely gutless and stupid giving the victory away in the last 13 seconds. Now we will have to hear about it for many many years to come. What other team has done this in the playoffs? 13 seconds. Mahomes will get the credit but the coaches basically just gave it to him. I could not even believe what I was seeing. It should have gone down in history as one of the greatest QB performances in playoff history. Instead, because the coaches had no balls whatsoever, it is one of the greatest collapses in playoff history and the wrong qb will be honored and probably win another SB. I would be so ***** pissed at whoever called that defense if I was a Bills player.

The defense on that 13 sec drive was absolutely infuriating. The Bills worked so hard for their points and then just concede open field to the Chiefs. 13 seconds. They just had to play defense for a couple plays. They should have buried him and ended the game emphatically. Instead they play 30 yards deep and just gift wrap the Chiefs 3 points. Disgusting. Embarrassing lack of courage by the coaches. Josh miraculously pulls off 2 amazing drives under constant pressure, with KC not conceding an inch. Then the coaches just gutlessly give it away to Mahomes. Mahomes is now the hero, the 13 second drive is now legend, and he didn't even have to do anything except throw to wide open guys while under no pressure. What a way to wreck a phenomenal effort and performance.

The defense on that 10 second drive was just embarrassing. They should have ended the game emphatically. Instead they just concede 25 yd chunk plays. Both safeties and a cb 25-30 yards deep at the snap. That was so ***** weak. I can't stand that kind of defense. Go after them and end the ***** game. Have some balls

Both of those teams looked like ***** I thought. Burrow sacked 9 times, running backwards out of fg range like a rookie, and their secondary looked lost. Luckily for them Tannehill completely sucks and they used Henry as a decoy on 3rd and 1 😂 Take care of business Bills, no looking ahead. Laser focused intensity and execution on every single play.
