The defense is the problem so the Bills focused on the D this draft. The problem with that is the Bills have been mostly focused on the defense in the draft and free agency every year McBeane have been here.... and it's still the problem.

Yep, problem is he was one of the worst YAC guys in the league last year. Low ADOT, 5.2 yds/tgt, 8.5 yds/catch with a horrible passer rating when targeted. Scored 1 TD on 102 targets. He doesn't scare anyone and will not increase 2 high safety looks from the defense. This pickup does not stretch the field or give them any more space underneath which is what they are lacking.

Palmer hasn't done anything, is not particularly athletic, agile, explosive, he's kinda slow and can't jump. Why do people think he's good?

He was 92nd out of 98 wrs on PFF last season....Regardless of what you think about PFF, those at the top of the list were really good and those at the bottom were not good at all.

They only had to move up 2 more spots to get Thornton instead of skinny legged fatty. Being 6'4" running a 4.3 40 is a superpower that can't be taught and one the Bills really need. Hoping Palmer is good for the Bills...

Did they really need to move up again? Or is that just something Beane likes to do? Top heavy blob who stands up tall to get pushed around better. Lacks lower body strength to play with better leverage at point of attack. Every single year they are rebuilding the d line while the NFL MVP once again has a below average wr group to throw to. A lot of people saying this wasn't the year for wrs, would it have even mattered if this was a great year for wrs? The best year for wrs the Bills took a big slow can't get open guy at the end of the first round....I guess that means they're good for a few more years. The guy who was awarded possession had one hand on the top of the ball pushing it into the ground when the ball touched. If nobody had possession when it hit the ground (and he definitely did not) then it is incomplete.
