  1. Franklin is thin for his height and frame at 6'3" ~190, but consider that he has put on 20 lbs in the last 2-3 years (170 lbs entering college) and just turned 21 a couple weeks ago. I think he still has some filling out to do. With the proper training table diet and exercise I think he could easily put on another 10-15 lbs of muscle without slowing down. 6'3" ~205 is a good size for an outside receiver.
  2. Gus Edwards ran 4.52 at 238 lbs... that's impressive speed for a guy that size. I imagine he would not be very expensive with all those backs available. I don't know too much about him or his fit with the Bills, but if they need a big battering ram who could be a breakaway threat in the 2nd level..... He's not quite as big as Henry, ~10lbs lighter, but is a little faster and probably a lot cheaper. I don't think Henry will be nearly as cheap as some seem to think.
  3. How about the Bills get past the Divisional round before projecting what 'they' will think of McD if he loses a SB. Why are you so worried about what people think about McD anyway You're bold, Buffalo Billy. People get way too dug into their opinions? While you're telling us what people will say after McD wins his 2nd and 3rd SBs? 🤣
  4. McD taking responsibility for anything ...... ever, would be a start. Until he does that, we'll never know what 'they' would say if he did. You would rather have a coach that accepts no responsibility and blames others, while you project what 'they' would say if he ever did accept any blame? I don't think expecting an explanation after one of the worst collapses in NFL history is unreasonable. I do think that McDs pattern of avoiding it while blaming others is a terrible quality for a head coach. Then why doesn't he just have 'no comment' and keep his mouth shut instead of deflecting blame onto others?
  5. McD doesn't 'own' the past and that's the problem. He doesn't own up to anything....ever He makes mistakes that he never 'owns'....in fact he makes sure to deflect blame onto someone else. That's a terrible trait for a leader
  6. Or maybe he took over the play calls and completely ***** up that 13 seconds and just wanted to move on without talking about it. Explaining yourself after one of the all time worst meltdowns in NFL history would be 'being chatty'? Blaming others and taking no responsibility is the high road evidently.
  7. This just reinforces what I've thought all along......whatever good qualities McD may possess, he is sorely lacking accountability and intelligence. He says the only failure is quitting? News flash, you can try your hardest and fail year after year after year if you're not good enough or make enough mistakes. He seems to think you are guaranteed to win a SB if you just keep trying real hard. 👏
  8. It's pretty funny reading the first few pages of this thread..... All the comments that have aged so terribly and how those with the audacity to question Knox' talent or Beane's wisdom offering him such a ridiculous contract were vilified. How dare they question Knox or Beane... 😆
  9. It was a terrible contract then that looked even worse when they drafted Kincaid in the 1st round right after he signed it; and even worse again when Kincaid showed he was a much better te in his rookie year than Knox ever will be. Knox was never anything special and never will be. P.S. Knox was rated 55th out of 72 qualifying tes last season while being ~5th highest paid.......the $14 million dollar per year man. Ugh
  10. No way... If he wants his stuff back he can afford to pay for it....if I was the guy taking risks buying storage lockers at auction there's no way I sell it back without some profit to show for my time and risk; especially to a guy who just signed a $13 million contract. It's not like the guy stole his stuff or did anything slimy. If he was that delinquent he only has himself (and possibly the storage co. owner?) to blame.
  11. When you look at a list of the songs and albums on which he played it is just simply amazing that one guy played on so many of the greatest albums and songs with so many different bands.
  12. I was lucky to have seen all these guys play, some many times. (Never all together like this) Garcia, Jorma and Jack many many times (hundreds for Garcia, over 20 for Jorma and Jack) Nicky Hopkins was a great and underrated musician and here are just some of the groups that he played with.... From Wiki: 'He performed on many popular and enduring British and American rock music recordings from the 1960s to the 1990s, most notably on songs recorded by the Rolling Stones, the Kinks, the Who, the Beatles, the Steve Miller Band, Jefferson Airplane, Rod Stewart, George Harrison, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, The Hollies, Cat Stevens, Carly Simon, Harry Nilsson, Joe Walsh, Peter Frampton, Jerry Garcia, Jeff Beck, Joe Cocker, Art Garfunkel, Badfinger, Graham Parker, Gary Moore, Quicksilver Messenger Service and Donovan. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest studio pianists in the history of popular rock music.'
  13. The game didn't mean anything? There are still 23 games left, a winning streak could get them back in the wild card race. I hope they don't share your pessimism. Sabres win!!! Yes First time this year.....keep it up boys
  14. Cmon Sabres That ***** penalty kill was so weak Goallllll!!! The equalizer with 4 min left after giving up a go ahead with 5 min left...need a win here Sabres Get back to .500
  15. I agree they need to get him receivers but your Mt Rushmore (in no particular order) is laughable. I'd wait til he actually wins something to advocate that lineup.
  16. Wtf? It's a Bills message board you idiot😆 Besides, you need to fly over to the 9ers board pronto.🧚‍♀️ They're dissing Mahomes again and you're not there to stroke and fondle his ........ public image and legacy
  17. Creed should've been a Buffalo Bill....took Basham instead because Beane "couldn't pass on his talent" even though he had just taken Rousseau in round 1...instead KC got him with the very next pick completing an oline rebuild in 1 offseason with an All Pro anchor from day one....won 2 SBs with him so far I stopped watching that draft in disgust
  18. He's the #2 rated wr out 128 on PFF, behind only Tyreek. Regardless of opinions on PFF rankings, he is universally regarded as being a really good wr.
  19. Both teams had 4 qtrs to settle it and the score is tied, why give either team an advantage with a coin toss in such a close contest? It's not a solution in search of a problem. Its a problem. College rules guarantee teams the same number of possessions, why is it okay that the NFL does not? Why after battling for 60 minutes should one team gain an advantage by winning a coin toss?
  20. Ten minutes is fair, no reason to make it shorter. Either the college system or an extra timed period are the most fair ways to resolve a tie game in regulation imo. Anything else makes the coin flip too much of an advantage and deciding factor. Let the teams settle it and make the result of the toss much less of a factor. Why all the stubbornness against making it fair and balanced?
  21. Wtf. This regime has wasted so much time, draft capital and money trying to put together the defensive line over the last 5/6 years while not drafting any top talent wrs for Allen; and now the dline needs another makeover..... Wizards 🧙‍♂️
  22. Why would they be expecting big production from Harty and Sherfield? Two undrafted free agents, one of whom is 5'6" tall, who have shown glimpses of talent but never consistent production. If what you are thinking is true and their plan for this past season (or any season) was to get big production from Harty and Sherfield then these guys are clueless... It's a lousy plan. If that's their idea of good enough....it's not even close to good enough. They should have foreseen years in advance the tight cap coming with Josh on his 2nd contract. They should have drafted a couple/few talented young wrs in the top rounds over those 5 or 6 drafts to develop and have on rookie contracts. Instead they trot out undrafted free agents and hope for the best while constantly building the dline with top picks and expensive fa pickups; and once again the defense is statistically good but too soft to stop the good qbs when it really matters. It doesn't matter how good your players are when you line up 8 yards off the line on 3rd and 4. I hear people say it's time for another def line rebuild....
  23. It's like the sign on my buddy's man cave fridge: 'Free beer... tomorrow' This could be the Bills motto under McD.....Start printing the logo t-shirts 'Buffalo Bills Next year it's our Lombardi !' That slogans a real winner....
  24. That was an epic end of the season run to the playoffs, never to be forgotten. Have you ordered the DVD memorializing it for eternity yet? I'm sure it will be talked about for decades. Only with McDs leadership could they have pulled that off....
