  1. Good? As in better than average? I disagree. He was not.
  2. McGovern an upgrade at center? He was not good as a guard and people expect him to be a good center? Has he even played much center in the NFL? He was a center in college his sophomore year then moved to guard. If that's the plan for next season it's a potential disaster imo.
  3. To call Rapp and Edwards an improvement at safety is completely ridiculous.
  4. For me the wrs that would fit the Bills at 28 are Thomas, Mitchell, and Franklin
  5. All 3 of those guys are physically limited for an outside wr and the Bills have plenty of guys for the slot. I doubt any of them will be very successful out wide. If Beane takes one of them at #28, he blew it imo.
  6. An athletic freak. Instead of listing his attributes, it is his weaknesses that make him a poor fit imo. A list of his weaknesses: Limited physical frame may restrict him to slot receiver roles, potentially struggling against physical cornerbacks. Below-average yards after catch ability, lacking the power to break tackles. Needs to refine footwork and route selling to enhance deception and effectiveness against savvy defenders. Concerns over durability, with a history of injuries potentially impacting long-term availability. Below an average blocker, limiting his versatility in the run game. The Bills have plenty of guys that can play the slot already. I don't think he fits what they need.
  7. Not true The Chiefs have the All Pro anchor to their line precisely because of what McB did and didn't do. They drafted Basham in the 2nd instead of Creed Humphrey, ignoring their own teams desperate need; to overindulge their dline obsession (had already picked Rousseau in the 1st). A 1st and a 2nd on DEs because they just couldn't pass on Bashams talent and the team had no holes. Nevermind the fact the oline completely sucked at the time....clueless.
  8. Bottom line Yes It was the best offensive line they've had in a long time, but that's not saying much and they were just average relative to the league. Average. I hope they can finally finish their Quixotic quest to find the right pass rusher. They have not demonstrated any ability to determine who that guy is thus far, but keep trying guys you're bound to get it right. My point, and I first made it right after they drafted Allen, is they should have built a great offensive line for him first thing. Then brought in elite weapons. (They got Diggs and then drafted 3 higher rnd rbs instead of another elite receiver) The oline was treated as an afterthought. Instead they have been focused on the dline first and foremost for the last 6 years. You mentioned Kelce always being open vs Buffalo. They used a 1st and a 3rd to draft one guy who could do that job.....but they picked the wrong guy. Another point I'd like to make is that regardless of how many great players they have, it doesn't help if you don't use them properly at the key moments.... Like guarding the sidelines for no reason when there are only 13 secs, but the other team has 2 timeouts. Or lining up 7 yards off the los on a crucial 3rd and 3, which I've seen them do many times. It's too late to go back and find out how even more dominant Allen would be behind a great line but don't say they already tried that when they are still trying to do what they have been trying to do all along. Like I said in an earlier post... Maybe they're just not very good at picking the right player, or maybe it's time to try something else.....
  9. You last me there. You really think that was a great offensive line? They were a lot better than they have been but they were average.
  10. They reviewed 100 metro areas and evidently Buffalo was not one of them. Of the 100, Seattle was the lowest, McLaren TX was the highest. We don't know where Buffalo fits in. (No pun intended)
  11. Hard to believe they botched the end of reg inbounds. I literally couldn't believe it when they threw it to Dante. My jaw hit the floor. The Ducks didn't have their best.... almost survived it, then botched the ending. They're down 4 scholarship players at that point, 3 who were starters, so they didn't have much depth. They really played their hearts out the last few weeks just to win the Pac and get into the dance. Proud of the effort and the performances. What was frustrating tonight is Couisnard drove the lane 20 times with everybody swiping at him and did not take a single ft the entire game. 33 shot attempts by Couisnard, a lot of them driving the lane with people swiping at him and not a single ***** free throw for him the whole game, plus two overtimes. That has to be a record, 33 shots 0 fts O well It was a good game Congrats to Creighton
  12. No Not a fan of pharmaceuticals, homegrown is my medicine of choice...and I'm well medicated today 😉 Yes Go Ducks!
  13. Not a great half by the Ducks but somehow only down 2
  14. Lets Go Ducks!!! Stay focused and give it your all! Every possession, offense and defense. Focus and energy. Lets Go
  15. Okay, maybe not bottom of the roster. I was replying to someone saying he didn't hear people saying he wasn't good before Beane signed him. Why would anyone be offering opinions on this guy before the signing. It's not like he was some major target we all knew Beane was after. He's just a guy! DaQuan's backup, not a big deal.
  16. I never gave him a thought before they signed him. Why would I, or anyone else for that matter? He's just a guy, a backup for DaQuan. This wasn't a major move, he's not a difference maker. Beane doesn't tell me who he's thinking of signing. Are we supposed to talk about every bottom of the roster guy in the league?
  17. Your unrestrained positivity is inspiring. I think I'm more of a skeptic, but I do believe in the power of positive thinking 🙂
  18. Kansas almost losing to Samford was no fluke, Zaga pulling away up by 20. Kansas was just overrated.
  19. It sounds dry to me 😆
  20. It's been years since I've had the sciatica this bad. I've been building a new shed in the yard for the wife in the cold damp weather and all that's left is to shingle the roof. Unfortunately I can barely stand right now. A couple days of watching bball is just what I need.
  21. Should be some really competitive games....finished my work around the house, sciatica is flaring up, perfect time to put my feet up and watch some bball. Looking forward to this. You can repeat that story every year😁
  22. Kansas Zaga Good 1st half, this game looks like it will go down to the wire.
  23. I don't remember Ole Anderson, may he rest in peace. I do remember Chief White Owl and the Tomahawk chop Dominic Denucci and the sleeper hold Crusher Verdu Waldo von Erich The Executioner Eric the Red, etc Me and my brothers would laugh our asses off watching the matches as kids, highly entertaining. I haven't seen a fake wrestling match since the early 70s
  24. They've been trying to build this amazing dline to stop Mahomes for 6 years now with plenty of high picks and free agents and it hasnt worked. That's what they've tried. They've never tried what I was talking about, building a great offensive line. Imagine if they had spent all that cap and draft capital on the offensive line instead, or at least a higher portion of it? A line like that makes everyone on offense better; qb wrs rbs tes all more productive. Every single year they need another DE. After all the high picks, free agents etc they still need to find their guy. Maybe they're just not very good at choosing the right player and maybe it's time to try something else.....or let someone else try.
