  1. Ya, Any other day of the year millions gather to watch parades and celebrate Irish culture. Just last month there were 500 bagpipers in Niagara Square on a normal Thursday for no reason at all. Was your goal to insult Irish Americans? Yom Kippur is just another day to me, but I just enjoy my normal day instead of telling Jewish people their holiday is meaningless. The fact that you went out of your way to post your ignorance on someone's thread celebrating St Patrick's Day and commemorating a dear friend who was lost in the past year says a lot.
  2. 🍀Happy St Patrick's Day🍀 Sorry you lost such a good friend.. RIP Jimbob
  3. Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State -Cardinals Rome Odunze, Washington -Bears Ladd McConkey, Georgia -Eagles Brian Thomas LSU - Bills Xavier Worthy Texas-Chiefs Bonus Bills pick -Brian Thomas
  4. Diggs doesn't act like a grownup. He's like a 14 year old in a 30 year old body. Enough of this childish *****
  5. I looked at a consensus mock draft today, 9 mock drafters ...Jeremiah , Walter, and a couple more names I recognized. They had Thomas at 50% going to the Bills at 28, with 2nd highest % chance that Legette is the pick. I was really surprised because most seem to think he'll be long gone. https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/mock-draft-consensus.php Would be incredible to get him without moving very far.
  6. So this makes Diggs, Shakir, Shorter, and Hollins the only wrs on the roster so far? That leaves plenty of room for a high draft pick, and plenty of room and time for a quality veteran
  7. If he was being brought in as a wr2 I could understand your pov...but he isn't a wr2. A successful season for Hollins? Leads a much improved Bills STs unit and catches a few timely passes. I hope he will be a high effort, energy and enthusiasm kind of player who can contribute multiple ways. A really successful season? Leads the Bills STs to an elite level and makes the Pro Bowl as a STer. Fills in nicely at receiver when needed and hauls in 5 or 6 tds as a 6'4" red zone threat. (Back at North Carolina he was a big, relatively fast downfield threat, his career TD% was a ridiculous 25%.... 20 tds 81 catches, avg over 20 per catch, taken 4th rnd). That td% obviously has never materialized for him in the pros, but he excels as a STer and is a very good blocker. He is not wr2 Davis' replacement....but according to ESPN Analytics he was open a lot more often than Gabe Davis was and was rated higher overall last season; being open and catching the ball were the 2 categories he was significantly higher in. He's not being brought in as a wr2, nor is he being paid like one; but if he has to fill in I think he might do better than most imagine with Josh Allen throwing him the ball.
  8. His contract was up. The Bills got good results for the $$$ and wisely decided not to give him a new, more expensive contract. Easy to understand imo. He scored a lot of touchdowns for a guy with limited skills, perfect time to move on and upgrade. I doubt he ever scores tds at that rate again. The Bills score a lot of touchdowns by the way. I think they will find others who can catch them.
  9. Gabe Davis was 128 out of 153 wrs in the ESPN Analytics 'open' metric last season. That's why he disappears for so long ....... https://espnanalytics.com/rtm/ He was also 112th of 153 in the overall rank He can be upgraded
  10. Chiefs' Creed Humphrey, who the Bills passed on in the 2nd for Basham, has started and played at a very high level from day 1.
  11. I was shocked when they got Byram. He was the 4th pick of the 2019 draft...Sabres have him under contract through next season. I think he is gonna be really good.
  12. For whatever its worth: PFF says he was 12th out of 46 qualified (300+ run snaps) LBs vs the run.... and he was slightly better than Bernard in coverage, just behind (ex Bill) Terrell Edmunds
  13. I was also shocked and disgusted when the Bills moved up and took Watkins instead of Mack. He's still got it evidently...18 sacks 6 forced fumbles, ranked 6th out of 112 d edge last season If Mack had grown up in Buffalo instead of Florida.....but his only connection to the city is UB and the Bills are an NFL team that passed on him when they had the chance. Does he even want to come to Buffalo? I've heard the 9ers want him.. I could see that happening
  14. How much will Ridley get?
  15. I fully agree with that, but I'm puzzled by your reply. I thought I was commenting on a list of NFC QBs better than Mayfield. The other guys listed also make more than $50 million guaranteed. ????
  16. Could have gotten a much better player for that money imo. Another 'let's stick with the below average guy we know' instead of getting better. Too many of these middling contracts go to below average players and it adds up to less money for elite talent....this is not in any way a win for the Bills. Why they needed to lock him up before free agency starts is beyond my understanding. Mark my words, much better safeties will play next season for equal or less money.
  17. He was terrible last year........let's pay him starter money and consider one safety position filled? Wtf
  18. I'd definitely take Goff over Mayfield...Cousins too if he ends up back in the NFC
  19. Regardless of why he did it, I'm glad they got that done.......I hated the contract when he signed it, I thought it was a big mistake, but that's history. Going into next season would you rather use up $20+ million in cap for absolutely nothing at all or find out if he can still play for $9 mil.? Von could have made more cash than that getting cut. 🤔 I don't see how this is not a win for the Bills.
  20. To those saying Beane had leverage in demanding a pay cut, I'm pretty sure Von was guaranteed $10.9 million dollars this coming season. He could have collected that money for doing absolutely nothing if the Bills had released him. He could have just trained and waited for a contender to sign him in the latter part of the season. 10.9 million plus whatever else he could get for playing part of a season, no mini camps, training camps, etc. He didn't have to do this, he had lots of options; one of them being collect $10.9 million for staying home and doing nothing. I don't have high expectations but I also won't be surprised if he can come back and be effective as a pass rush specialist this season. I'd rather the Bills get to find out as opposed to just eating $20+ million in dead cap.
  21. Just not real confident he will be a good starting center. If that's their plan, I hope I'm wrong.
  22. Von taking a pay cut and loading his contract with incentives instead of guaranteed money is an incredible development. He was already guaranteed the money and didn't have to take a pay cut. The fact that he did and loaded his contract with incentives instead tells me that he plans on being really good again.
