Why did clock stop after Allen’s amazing 3rd and 13 run
Doc Brown replied to Charles Romes's topic in The Stadium Wall
That was my first thought with the two and five minute exceptions. I don't recall ever seeing this situation rarely ever happens. If the Bills were down in the game it would've helped them as the clock stopped. However, it's a rule that needs to be tweaked because we just saw it screw a team over by rewarding bad behavior by the Dolphins. The coach (McDermott in this case) should be allowed to decline it and keep the clock running. -

**Breaking News** Pete Carroll out in Seattle

He's won one playoff game in the last seven years. My guess is he was canned. -

I don't think there's been a more insufferable player the last five years. He's single handedly dismantling the Jets so I guess it's worth dealing with. -

It's pry the best for the Jets if Rodgers just stays off talk shows until he retires. Of course he won't so the circus will continue. Why in the world were they talking about that to begin with on a sports talk show? -
This fan base, sometime, is very concerning

True. I doubt the weather will be as bad as that MNF NE game and I hope we learned our lesson to trust Josh's arm if it is. I see this as around a 20-6 victory if it is really bad weather. Take away their run game by loading the box and dare Mason Rudolph to throw on you. -

He left six points on the board. You can’t win four straight against playoff caliber opponents making those mistakes. -
Thanks Patrick.

Yes.

It's been done with coaches without any head coaching experience. Frazier with the Vikings. Cable with the Raiders. Singletary with the 49ers. All those teams played better initially but all three would be considered failures once they got the permanent gig.

He made two costly errors (panicking against the cover 0 to throw the first end zone pick and throwing short of the end zone to Ty Johnson at the end of the half) that a veteran QB shouldn't make that cost us at least six points. Those are fair criticisms as we won't win a Super Bowl if he continues to make those errors. To be fair though that was his first red zone turnover of the year. -

Because he didn't want to here from the media and fans about not being aggressive enough when you have the number one offense in the league on the other side. This team has been near the top in the league in 3rd and 4th and short first down conversion percentages the last five or so years. -

He flip flops more than a politician. -
They like him just because they hated McDaniels and you get that initial bump with the foundation already in place. I can't recall an interm head coach with no prior head coaching experience ever being successful when hired permanently.
-
Harbaugh has the better resume. McDaniels never proved himself as a head coach at any level for those that are comparing the same situation to him and Biscotti. Pierce could very well be their last resort if they can't catch the big fish.
-
Mark Davis and Jim Harbaugh would be a perfect match imo. As eccentric as Mark Davis is I don't think he's the type of owner that runs interference when it comes to football operations. Harbaugh could just draft JJ McCarthy and essentially bring him from Michigan. As far as money goes, this is an owner that gave Jon Gruden a 10 year 100m dollar contract. I think Davis would outbid the competition.
-
Optimal for me would be Steelers, Browns, and then Dolphins at home. What it's pry going to take is Steelers, Chiefs, and at Ravens.
-
We lost six one score games this year so it was eventually going to regress to the mean. The defense stepping up late has been the difference.
-
Could be but it will definitely take some pride swallowing. If I'm him I'd rather take over a poor defense where there's nowhere to go but up. Plus, another team may offer a bigger paycheck.
-
Rivera may get hired elsewhere. If I'm him I wouldn't want to work under someone at a job in the same position as someone who used to work under me. I think McDermott promotes from within if he gives up the d-coordinator duties.

They suck. They went 3-5 on the road and their defense is just mediocre away from Cleveland. Also, Flacco already went on his four game hot streak before defenses adjust.

Makes sense. I'm not sure if it's 35-0 or 38-0 Bills. -
Steelers @ Bills. Monday, January 15th at 4:30pm.

We've been very good at home this year against all QB's. Tua's the only QB that put up more than 250 passing yards and a lot of that was in garbage time. Not that concerned assuming Douglas can go. -
