  1. Just off the top of my head as I'm sure there's more. The premise that you can't win a Super Bowl if you're paying a QB and a WR top 5 money at the position just because it hasn't been done lately is ludicrous imo.
  2. Looking at it through Super Bowl winner's is such a narrow lens given the lucky bounces/injury luck that's required to win a Super Bowl. Go back to 2011 (when the rookie wage scale kicked in) and give me the final four teams each season. Off the top of my head, Falcons - Ryan and Jones. Cardinals - Warner and Fitzgerald. Cowboys - Romo and Bryant. Steelers - Roethliberger and Brown. Saints - Brees and Colston. Packers - Rodgers and Adams. It can be done. You just have to spend smartly elsewhere.
  3. Worst case is he uses his talent, balls out for two months to make the team, and then goes back to his old habits once the season starts taking away a roster spot from someone else. Another possibility is he balls out for a year (which would be great) with the incentive to sign a big multi-year contract next year. Old habits die hard so proceed with caution with players like Claypool.
  4. It is kind of funny that the signing wasn't even reported until the Bills social media team announced it which shows how far Claypool's profile has fallen. Maybe we can get the Chase Claypool of 2020 and 2021. Your brain doesn't even develop until you're 24 and he's 25 so maybe he's matured. Just cut him if it doesn't work out. Low risk, mediumish reward signing.
  5. You're dreaming. No way the Bears trade a #1WR in DJ Moore. The Bears are all in mode with a QB on a rookie contract as they should be.
  6. Good lord. If that poll has validity if the Republicans just ran a run of the mill candidate (Nicky Haley, Tim Scott, etc.) they'd win in a landslide. Trump is such a turnoff to suburban women who cost him the 2020 election.
  7. Fix the headline man. I was excited that CBS might fire him.
  8. We've been through this since 13 seconds and I think winning six out of the last seven last year to win the division bought them at least two more years. Barring a total regular season collapse (less than seven wins) with a healthy Josh Allen they aren't going anywhere (unless one of them commits a felony or something). Going 53-22 including the postseason over a four year span will buy you a long leash.
  9. Speedster Gabe Davis is like saying rocket armed Matt Barkley.
  10. He's exactly what I expected at where we drafted him in the first. It's the Basham pick that still infuriates me. They double down on DE but I guess WR is off limits.
  11. Rookie Kelvin Benjamin was really good. Then get got injuries and fat.
  12. Just sign OBJ and tell him to be the player he was seven years ago. We'll be Super Bowl contenders.
  13. He could've gone earlier. This board is WR spellbound in a negative way. Having said that, draft some freaking WR's in a WR rich draft.
  14. Before the pick for me - Devin Funchess 2.0. After the pick for me - Brandon Marshall 2.0. The games we play in our head. LOL.
  15. Chiefs won with defense last postseason and opportunistic mostly mistake free offense. There's more than one way to skin a cat.
  16. Beane just said they tried to trade up for him.
  17. Yup. If he reaches his ceiling the Pats will have the qb needed n today’s NFL to regularly compete for a championship. Not sure if the Pats are the greatest fit for him though.
  18. They won the last two Super Bowls. LOL. I'm also a little dubious of their ability to scout WR's with spending premium draft picks on Hardman, Moore, and Rice.
  19. Probably. They did the same thing with James Cook a couple years back.
  20. If the Bills loved Ricky Pearsell they would've taken Ricky Pearsell at #28. If you love a guy you don't trade back four spots and hold your breath hoping he falls to you.
  21. LOL. No. The draft chart would then incorporate the tariff into the chart. Fair trade. Pry a dumb one for the Chiefs since they pry could've just sat at 32 and picked Worthy anyways.
  22. Going into round one the Bills trading back and getting a 3rd round pick was my second preferred outcome behind trading up for Brian Thomas Jr.. Getting the #33 pick with McConkey and Mitchell still on the board is fantastic imo..
  23. Sutton we could probably make it work salary cap wise. We can't with Aiyuk or Higgins until after June 1st.
  24. We can after June 1st. Handshake agreement? Lol.
