  1. He's basically 2022 Aaron Rodgers when he lost Adams. Yards are down. TD passes are down. Don't let the lack of interceptions fool you either. His turnover worthy play percentage (a PFF lover's stat) is the worst since 2018. The Jaguars game was a mirage because they really suck.
  2. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5764056/2024/09/12/what-is-nfl-concussion-protocol/ Who has the final say about the player’s status? If a player doesn’t exhibit one of the “no-go” symptoms, then each step of the league’s concussion protocol is determined by a team physician in consultation with an unaffiliated neurotrauma consultant on the sideline. https://static.www.nfl.com/image/upload/v1665264248/league/moexjmdzy2kvjtqsdpbx.pdf Regardless, the responsibility for the diagnosis of concussion and the decision to return a player to a game remains exclusively within the professional judgment of the Head Team Physician or his/her physician designee responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of concussion For the avoidance of doubt, the responsibility for the diagnosis of concussion and the decision to return a player to a game remain exclusively within the professional judgment of the Head Team Physician or the Club physician designated as responsible for the diagnosis and management of concussion.
  3. No. Head team physician still has final say.
  4. McDermott didn't know that Martin would boom a punt from the back of his end zone that resulted in the return man not getting them in field goal range even with no time outs left for the Texans. It was a tricky situation but run, run, roll out pass/qb eat it if it wasn't there was pry the correct series of calls there. However, there was no guarantee whatsoever that Houston doesn't get a FG attempt just because they used all their time outs.
  5. And ignore the 2018 and 2019 seasons before we traded for Diggs.
  6. I think it's the head team physician that makes the final decision of whether to put him back in the game with input of the unaffiliated neurologist.
  7. I think it takes another week. If we get humiliated on MNF with a similar WR performance then Beane might sell the farm for Cooper or Hopkins.
  8. The fact that I read this and didn't outright dismiss it shows how hopeless my feeling is at WR right now.
  9. You can't disprove it though. Two years ago and Tua's a shrimp.
  10. Looks like he said "Jump ball four" and then "jump ball that." I'm not an expert lip reader but I'm pretty close.
  11. Steelers are the most boring 9 to 10 annual win team in NFL history.
  12. I'm way more upset about Allen, Brady, and our WR's than McD's end of game clock management. We should've been up double digits at that point. I'm not going to let old memories cloud my judgment.
  13. Yes. He was sick of winning. Brady and Allen are more to blame for this loss than McDermott.
  14. Kromer burner account?
  15. No new injuries?
  16. Josh Allen and Joe Brady were awful. McDermott is an easy scapegoat.
  17. A 162 regular season games and only a best of five game divisional series. Manfred man.
  18. As a child he got all the food while his family starved. Not a good fit.
  19. You'd be dead although if you're looking to lose a few pounds.... I suggest finding a new dentist because that's not normal. Unless the tooth is infected they should be able to pull it the same visit. Not sure where you live but I'd find a reputable dentist firm with multiple locations.
  20. Glad to see Trubisky is full go.
  21. It depends what you think of us and the Jets. The Texans will pry win their division so this game could impact seeding in the playoffs (2 vs. 3 seed for example) if you think the Jets aren't a real threat. Having the Texans come here in January is a huge advantage.
  22. Glad they picked up that flag.
