Eisen "Don't let the Bills in the playoffs"
Doc Brown replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
If we sneak into the playoffs we're going to need Kincaid to improve quickly. That improves better play designs to stretch the middle of the defense and for him to go from good to very good within the next month. Three very good to elite weapons with Diggs (not worried about him at all) , Kincaid, and Cook (needs to continue his play quality) would be enough to be a legitimate Super Bowl contender. We have the best o-line since 2020 and a defense that is at least on par with KC during their first Super Bowl run. Getting to the dance is the main obstacle right now though. -
Maybe not but I wish the selection process was similar to All Pro selections where it's a collection of 50 national media members. Fans, players, and coaches have too much biases and/or don't really take the time to make an educated decision. Fellow players in particular will prop a QB up when they're do for a new contract or receive higher 5th year options if they make the Pro Bowl (think Tremaine Edmunds). Lamar making it over Allen in 2021 is the most ridiculous snub I can recall. Kyler over Stafford was also ludicrous that same year.

Just to make it easier if the Bills win on Saturday we need only one of the following teams to lose this weekend to control our own destiny: -Fish, Jags, Bungles, Brownies, or Colts

College teams want the offense to get the ball second so they know how many points they need to score and can tailor their play calling to achieve the desired result. I imagine most NFL coaches would feel the same with the new playoff OT rules where each team is guaranteed one possession. The only way I could see a team taking the ball first is if their defense is gassed.

Random talking head says something about the Bills

NYT playoff simulator has them at 68% and the Vegas odds are at -210 to make the playoffs the last time I checked. If the Bills drop one of their next three they still are at about 50 to 70% to make the playoffs depending on which game we lose. -

The last three seasons the Bills finished out the regular season on a six game winning streak, a four game winning streak, and a seven game winning streak. I wouldn't bet against them. -
I'm guessing the rationale was build some positive momentum for the Fins game. Really stupid decision though.

It was a great half a sack though. -

We already knew all this. The Bills may have to pay for the sins of losing to bad teams but the hole wasn’t dug too deep yet. -
A Few Thoughts about the Cowboys Game, in no particular order

I know Brady is so hot right now amongst fans but I don't think he calls the defense plays quite yet.- 69 replies

Steelers Damontae Kazee Suspended Rest of Season
Doc Brown replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
I thought Dodson should've been ejected for this. Clearly intentional to lead with helmet there imo. Dirty play. -
Agreed. I remember getting blown out against the Colts in the regular season (similar game to yesterday except in reverse) and the Bengals in the post season as a very odd feeling that I was thankful I almost forgot what it felt like after the miserable drought. Even though we either blow a team out or it comes down to the wire. I prefer the former as we've experienced some painful losses. More than nearly any other team since the 2019 Wild Card game. It's a blessing and a curse I guess.

They had their onsides kick unit on and Harty just went down to avoid a fumble at the end of the game so they could run out the clock. I'm guessing that's what he was instructed to do. They obviously rely on him the most as a returner as he only has one muff this year I believe on 40 or so punt return opportunities. Brilliant play as the blocking ineptitude allowed the savvy veteran in Martin to get that punt off and draw the personal foul. Led to a Touchdown.

Cook has been great but Tyler Dunne lit a fire under this undermanned defense. Reminds me of Jerry Sullivan after the wind game in 2021.

It’s Dallas week and the Division is on the line!
Doc Brown replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yup. Even if we lose tomorrow we still have a good shot even if this board will be in full meltdown pitchfork mode. We're in much better shape than we were the same time last week. You can thank Toney and the Titans for that. -
Four road indoor games would be fantastic.

Defense is too inconsistent. I can’t see Goff winning at SF or Philly.
