  1. We never fielded a team good enough to win the Super Bowl with the Pats so all things equal that’s why I hate the Chiefs more. Brady wasn’t as insufferable as Mahomes but I like Reid more than Belichick.
  2. There was nothing stopping the 49ers from treating every new set of downs as four down territory on the first drive of overtime.
  3. I blame the Bears for trading up for Trubisky.
  4. Third in AFC behind KC and Baltimore. A little surprised we're above the Lions. Here are the top 10 and the rest of the AFC East. Best value? I'm going Packers. San Francisco 49ers +600 Kansas City Chiefs +850 Baltimore Ravens +1000 Buffalo Bills +1200 Cincinnati Bengals +1500 Detroit Lions +1700 Miami Dolphins +2000 Dallas Cowboys +2000 Philadelphia Eagles +2200 Green Bay Packers +2500 New York Jets +3000 New England Patriots +12500
  5. Correct. If you're Shanahan and convinced Mahomes will score every time you receive the ball, score a TD, and go for two. If the Chiefs match the eight points then you get the ball in a sudden death situation with a chance to win it without Mahomes getting the ball again.
  6. The same people who are saying there's no way it's going to happen with McDermott/Beane running things are the same people who thought there's no way we win out to even make the playoffs sitting at 6-6. Ignore them.
  7. Imagine if Diggs did this to McDermott......
  8. Not if the Chiefs tie it with a field goal. If it goes field goal field goal then the next score wins. Would you rather have the ball or not have the ball in that situation? It's different than college.
  9. This exactly. You receive the ball every time. I can't even believe this is a debate.
  10. You'd think but their weren't any lights whatsoever that kicked on in the bathroom. Thank god for cell phones. I think the official explanation was the previous power outages that day that "overtaxed the backup system."
  11. That game was a surreal experience. I was in line in the bathroom when the power was out and I don't remember a no holds bar. Just some snarky "Ralph is cheap' comment but really quiet other than that. The only lights were from cell phones and all I remember thinking was how the hell does this place not have backup generators to provide at least some lighting.
  12. Playoffs this year set all time records. The Chiefs/Bills game was the most watched Divisional game of all time. It will definitely be in the top 5 of all time.
  13. I didn’t say they were. You asked why Beane doesn’t get more heat and I answered it with the handling of 13 Seconds and the horrible coaching in the Bengals game makes it far easier to blame McDermott than Beane.
  14. Because of 13 seconds and being thoroughly outcoached in every facet in the Bengals playoff game last year. Both were massive failures on McDermott's part. Our roster was good enough to beat KC this year too. It's been good enough the last three years to beat them in the regular season. It's easy to nitpick draft moves that didn't pan out but the fact is Beane has built a Super Bowl caliber roster the last three seasons.
  15. Plus the Broncos. I didn't have a problem with Allen not winning it. I had a problem with Lamar winning it. If there's some unwritten bylaw that it has to go to a player on a team that gets the one seed in the conference than it should've went to Christian McCaffrey this year (who got the most second place votes ahead of Purdy).
  16. Dungy's time as the Colts head coach is the best comparison. Both were defensive minds who had QB's playing at elite levels over a four year time period (Dungy ( 2001-2004) and McDermott (2020-2023)). Dungy had a 3-4 playoff record and McDermott had a 5-4 playoff record over that span. Dungy couldn't get past the Patriots and Steelers. McDermott can't get past the Chiefs and Bengals. Lets hope McDermott's fifth year with a QB playing at an elite level mirrors Dungy's. If not than Pegula should seriously consider making a change.
  17. It was more not having our two starting LB's (Milano and Bernard) specifically against KC that really hurt us. Reid/Mahomes just kept attacking the middle of the field as Klein and Dodson are poor coverage linebackers. I doubt Dodson was even at 100%. Seeing Klein getting burned over and over again by Kelce was maddening. Especially frustrating because we finally caught them in the playoffs without Tyreek or any legitimate WR weapon outside of Kelce.
  18. Very smooth runner that's fun to watch. He's better between the tackles than I thought he'd be when we drafted him. Seems to have really good vision but I like that he doesn't have much hesitation when hitting the hole. He's a home run threat every time he touches the ball which we haven't had at RB since Shady. He's a decent route runner who is a mismatch for most LB's. I thought he'd have better hands as those missed TD drops are inexcusable. Fumble worry me but are fixable. Will always be limited as a blocker so I don't think he'll ever be a true every down back.
  19. I figured they would be the best interview. I thought the logical follow up to the Shakir throw question was to ask if he regrets not checking it down to an open Diggs but I guess he already answered that. Simms talks about the Bills not having enough offensive weapons surrounding him all the time so I wish they asked him his thoughts on that but I understand they can only push so far.
  20. I stopped paying attention to him when he said it was more realistic that Peterman would be our franchise QB than Allen based off completion percentage in the pre-season. I wasn't a huge Allen fan at the time but my god that was horrible analysis. I actually felt better about this team when he said there was a zero percent chance we win out after the Eagles game.
  21. Plus, he gave away arguably two games when all we needed was a game manager (@Jets, Broncos). An MVP can't do that.
  22. Or…..there’s no way in hell he’s taking a pay cut.
  23. Was it the twitter proposed trade to the Panthers where we get two 2023 first round picks?
  24. Yeah. Let's reelect that guy. WTF is wrong with this country? America: I'd vote for a wet mop over Biden. Republicans: How about Donald Trump instead? America: Pass the cyanide.
