What's the upside? All I see is downside because it's a distraction.

No International games. No Holiday games. I knew it was too good to be true.

This is good for us as it would've banned pushing the ball carrier which is what are o-line loves to do on a run play. Eagles can stop crying now too.

Most Beloved Bills: 1 year (ok up to 2)
Doc Brown replied to BillsShredder83's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't even think it's recency bias to say Mack Hollins. Just answer the darn question. Lol. -
Correct. Teams can assign two players each year with a post June 1st designation. It's also interesting to me that they didn't say take a pay cut or we're trading you (maybe not so bluntly). See how he looks and whether the rookies we drafted are ready. The two idiots that Beane signed who cheated complicates things and makes trading AJ or cutting Jones less likely. Last year the Bills started the season with 4 DT's (Oliver, Jones, Johnson, Carter) and six D-ends (Rousseau, Epenesa, Miller, Smoot, Soloman, and Toohill). I think they go 5 DT's and 5 DE's this year because of the two suspensions. DT - they pry be Jones, Oliver, Sanders, Carter, and Walker (who might be a healthy scratch because of his back issue). When the idiot DT gets back in week 7 my guess is that Carter will be the cut. Jones is definitely a possibility though. DE's would be Groot, Bosa, Jackson, Epenesa, and Solomon. When our idiot DE gets back in week 8 I'm guessing it's Soloman that gets the boot. This is of course assuming that none of these players on IR going into week 8. This may just work itself out naturally. I kind of miss the days where it was just keeping it simple with Mario, Dareus, K. Williams, and Hughes. I get the rationale behind the rotation but have never been a fan after seeing those four produce like they did in 2014.

NFL players to the Olympics in Flag Football?
Doc Brown replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Since there's no tackling involved our defense would pry be really good at grabbing a flag. -
I have mixed feelings on Romo. He has a touch of John Madden in him with his general enthusiasm for the game. He's also decent at explaining exactly what happened on both sides of the ball after the play as far play run, blitzes, coverages, etc.. However, Romo salivates over the QB's too much. I'd hate Josh Allen because of Romo if I was a fan of another team. Always liked Nantz though and they have some decent chemistry. Basically the exact opposite of Michaels and Herbstreit. Yeah. I'm kind of baffled by the hatred too. He's basically Mr. Rogers in the broadcast booth. If you suck.

Palmer's biggest knock on him coming out of college was his limited production. That continued in the NFL before Roman got there. Plus, McKonkey seemed fine in Roman's offense. I think Palmer is who he is at this point. I'd be happy if he's a slight upgrade over Hollins who should be able to get open against man better than Mack could.

Wyatt Teller Vontae Davis -
I'd like to see how many of his targets are throwaways compared to other targets. This may have been brought up before in this thread but I'm trying to make sense of the low catch rate and him receiving a receiving grade of 76.0 on PFF which ranks him 8th among 72 TE's. You'd think it would be much lower and I'm wondering if they look at times where he was open and Josh didn't throw it to him. Or if they excluded plays they deemed as throwaways.
-
This is my simplistic opinion looking at all of this. Josh thinks he's throwing to Knox. Kincaid isn't as strong as Knox. How do you fix that?

NFL to Have Vote That Would Alter Playoff Seeding
Doc Brown replied to Doc Brown's topic in The Stadium Wall
That and sometimes divisions get the short end of the stick with the rotating schedule. For example, a 10-7 NFC East team (plays the AFC North and NFC North teams) is a lot more impressive than an 11-6 NFC West team (plays the NFC South and AFC South teams). Just only re-seed them if you have an 8-9 division winner or worse. -
James Comey to be investigated for posting “8647”

I appreciate the insight. Cancer sucks. I know you're not a doctor but you seem to have a better grasp on this than I do. Let's for hypothetical sake they did hide the cancer problem and detected it early, is the treatment usually effective to the point where it would ever reach Stage 9 and metastasize to the bone?

That as well but my first thought was attention hoore. -
I think it was 31 teams as the Rams were in efff them picks mode with the Goff trade up the year before. It can get exhausting though but when you haven't drafted an elite, proven player besides Allen fans lose patience. Benford and Groot could become elite soon and some would argue that Benford already is. Bears kind of bet on traits too with that signing as him being only 24 who's only getting better was the pitch that Poles gave Bears fans. It's not hindsight when pretty much everyone on here agreed it was a massive overpay even though many were worried that he couldn't effectively be replaced. He definitely wasn't a whiff or a bust but if you trade up for a player in the first round that's not a primary position you expect him to be elite. McBeane were hoping for their Cam Newton and Luke Kuechly in that round. Luckily, the one they hit on (and then some) was the former or they might not have jobs right now. I disagree with Bernard at his best isn't close to Wagner who has been the golden standard imo for ILB's with his play over the last five seasons. I think both contracts were appropriate.

Oh. Got ya. Thanks. The sole point of my existence is defending ex Bills players that left two years ago that I feel in any way got slighted.
