  1. He's a poor tackler so I doubt it. I'd be surprised if Tre ever plays another down of football which sucks but that's life in the NFL. It's always why I never blame a player for taking the money while they still can.
  2. Dane Jackson was better than the 2023 version of James Bradberry at CB. Eagles fans were shocked he made the final 53 last year.
  3. He flirted with moving to safety last off-season in Philly to prolong his career as he had a brutal 2023 campaign at outside CB. It's possible that's what the Bills have that possibility in mind with him.
  4. Trump won two elections and most weren't "MAGA" voters. They saw that inflation went up significantly under Biden and voted accordingly. If the tariffs do cause economic pain on people than they'll vote accordingly in 2026 and 2028. My fear is Bernie Sanders and his ilk gaining momentum going into 2028.
  5. That's true. If we just used all that draft capital the following draft to draft Josh Rosen at least we'd suck for a few years, pry be on to another coach/gm or two, and would pry be looking at 16 1:00 games next year with are stadium being renovated. I'll take the four losses to KC before that scenario. Maybe I'm just getting old but I'm pretty sure most football fans are well aware of Ditka giving up all his picks to draft Ricky Willams and then just golfed the rest of the draft.
  6. Just watched the Grier press conference. Yikes. If his goal was to tamper expectations for next season he gets an A+.
  7. I don't think a team would trade for him because they know what his asking price is already. Giving up assets and then paying an above average player elite money is a terrible allocation of resources. Especially at a non premium position like RB.
  8. It's more likely that you'll get a fans "pay him" chant going than him being booed.
  9. I don't even know if the calculation if the yearly money businesses and people saved from the 2017 TCJA Trump passed makes up for the money the taxpayers are now going to lose from these asinine tariffs. It's like losing 30 pounds and then eating 3 gallons of melting ice cream a day for a month.
  10. Leftists are idiots when it comes to the economy. Lower corporate tax rates, lower income tax rates, deregulation, securing the border, and no tariffs on imports has always led to a booming economy.
  11. Amazing physical talent but injuries along with some mental problems made trading up for him. His career in a nutshell.
  12. Another thing is we'd never have had the number one pick to draft Bruce Smith (also possibly not trading for Bennett) if we drafted Marino in '83. It's why takes like Marino would've won the Super Bowl with the Bills 90's roster is fruitless to debate.
  13. It's frustrating although we thought that with LB too and we ended up starting Bernard. I don't know if they have a veteran fall back plan (Samuel Jr., Gilmore, Douglas) or they believe in Ingram's development way more than they let on (doubtful). I think in that scenario Beane would find a trading partner in the 2nd round to go up and select their DT.
  14. For my own entertainment, I want the Bills to announce that they're bringing back the red helmets for one game. And then it's announced several days before the game we see them in the drought era 2000's arena league jerseys.
  15. With Samuel, Coleman, Palmer, Shakir, and Shenault (mostly kick return specialist) on the roster we might not see a WR drafted until day 3. All are different WR's skill wise with the only thing lacking is a true burner that can take a top off the defense. Unless a true deep threat falls to us. I'm guessing Hamler, Virgil, Shavers, and a day 3 pick are on the practice squad and we roll with what we have.
  16. To me his scouting report looks like if Gabe Davis and Keon Coleman had a baby.
  17. So much for the Velveeta cheese mini rye bread pizza appetizer recipe I was about to share. Your guys loss.
  18. One other thing that I think puts Kelly in the teens of all time greats is the innovation of the K-gun. The no huddle offense wasn't just for end of half/end of game situations anymore. They played more spread than any team in the league at the time too (I believe) with usually three WR's, McKeller/Metzelaars, and Thurman. It's a high risk proposition because you risk taking a quick three and out and risk wearing your defense out. The reward was it exploited defensive mismatches and forced the defense into more vanilla play calls. It's difficult to maintain that kind of tempo throughout a game especially when you're calling your own plays. Kelly did a good job of mixing up the run, screen passes, and regular passes to matriculate the ball down the field while wearing defenses out. I thought his accuracy is a little better than Allen's and his deep ball was too. I think Allen will pass him in the next couple of years but I'm not ready to say he's better yet.
  19. I think he'd be more highly regarded if he didn't got to the USFL after college. Three years of NFL experience in a less banged up body would've definitely added to the resume and maybe he could've met that elite status earlier than '90.
  20. The "frequent winning of golf tournaments" in the summary was pretty amusing because doctors will usually write anything memorable you say in the summary during a typical physical. Last year I was pissed off that the Bills Jets game got moved to the 4:25pm time slot because it meant I'll miss my daily 5:00 nap given I only get four to five hours sleep a night at best and I conveyed that to the doctor that week at my physical. He wrote, "Inadequate sleep especially on certain Sunday's during football season."
  21. Reminds me of a slightly taller Hollywood Brown. Could help take the top off a defense.
  22. Isaiah Bond. We haven't won the Super Bowl drafting choir boys so let's go in a completely different direction. Great start with signing two guys juicing in free agency.
  23. With the 55th pick in the draft the Chargers select Darius Alexander, DT, Toledo With Poona Ford leaving we need to sure up the interior of our D Line. Alexander has shown on tape that he can destroy blocks to generate great inside pressure. His great size and length should translate well to the NFL. The pissed off Bills fans are on the clock.
  24. I'm hoping the Browns and Giants don't draft a QB with their 1st round picks. Patriots don't get Hunter or Carter. Teams are more likely to trade their 2nd round pick to us and take a QB at 30.
