  1. Let's just continue drafting defense forever. In fact Let's tell Josh he better be prepared to play some defense.
  2. He is young but based on his numbers no more than 3M/ yr. I'd still prefer Simmons....
  3. I see Samuel used more than Gabe. I see Knox slowly phased out in 2024 and becoming a post June cut in 2025. I honestly have no clue what to expect from Diggs? I do expect Kincaid, Shakir and our early drafted wr to have increased roles. I wish I could count on Cook to catch a ball, but I think he's destined to be a 1st/2nd down back.
  4. Simmons still has 2 very good years left. Sign him (after waiting) to a 2 year deal worth 16M. Then draft a promising FS to work with Simmons.
  5. I'd sign Simmons to a 2/ 16 deal and still draft a development FS to work under him.
  6. Yup, the strategy is to keep drafting wrs. Hollins could flame out like Sherfield? Shorter could be another Hodgins? Diggs shelf life is 2 years or less. I'm all for drafting wr @ 28 or slide up a few slots if Thomas/ Mitchell are there. And draft another wr day 3.
  7. Yeah RB wise I'd love to land Allen or Guerendo. Like Bishop (S) and also Maason Smith (DL).
  8. Yeah if I'm paying 18-20M/ yr for a pass rusher, he sure as hell better be a 10-15 sack game wrecker. Not a good player averaging 5.5 sacks a yr in his career. Personally I think we're even overpaying for AJE.
  9. If realistically we have no shot at Thomas or Mitchell, then yes by all means trade the 28th for an extra 2nd and 3rd.
  10. Problem is we don't pick till the end of the 4th. He'll probably be gone.
  11. I think both Von and Knox will be post June 1st cuts next year.
  12. As a cheap backup to Ed. I'm fine with that. Who's backing up DQ?
  13. Realistically the Bills must jump Cincy and trade with Jacksonville @17. The chart says the Bills would have to give 28, 60 and a 4th this year and next. It’s not guaranteed but it would be less costly than going after MHJ or Odunze. Or we sit at 28 and hope Mitchell falls to us which is also unlikely. I just don't want to settle for Franklin, Coleman or Leggette in the 2nd round. I think Thomas would be worth it. But in life nothings guaranteed!
  14. Odunze would be tempting at 10-12 but it still would be too expensive. Trade up a couple picks if Thomas is there.
  15. I love me some Beane but he sure did swing & miss on Hines, Harty & Sherfield. At least all 3 had their one fleeting moment. Hopefully Samuel can turn into Beasley on roids.
  16. All that Tre money is allocated to the draftees.
  17. Exactly, I like the Samuel signing but I'm not madly in love with it. It's imperative that we hit on a very good 1st round wr to replace Diggs in 2yrs. And next April we'll probably have to draft Curtis Samuel's eventual replacement. Like Weather Man said you need these guys on 5 yr rookie deals for need & cost.
  18. Yeah, we're definitely not coming away with 11 players. Feels like 7-8.
  19. Brian Thomas will be WR2. Samuel will be WR3 in multiple roles. Shakir will trade off slot or outside WR4.
  20. It's a nice start and replacement for Davis, but I still want a 1st round wr and another in the 4th or 5th. Diggs will not be around forever.
  21. I am excited about his nearly 70% catch rate. Now go out and draft Brian Thomas.
  22. He's electric, mesmerizing and as Rich Eisen has said, he's one of the most athletic, physically gifted and entertaining qbs in NFL history. Josh needed Dabol as much as Mahomes needs Andy. Albeit Reid is the superior coach over Dabol and McDermott. Josh just needs to find a way to reduce the careless moments that we don't see as often with Mahomes.
