  1. God I wish there was a path where we could land both Thomas (28) and maybe move up to get Legette in the 2nd? Obviously a Longshot but those 2 for Josh would be scary.
  2. Just draft a cheap power back in the 6th round....done! No more older vet experiments like Gore, Murray, Harris etc. And no more wasting 3rd round picks on RB's.
  3. He must have quite the agent. That's big money for a player his age coming off acl / Achilles.
  4. Yeah, I'm taking Mitchell over Franklin. I'd even take Legette over him too.
  5. I love Odunze but moving up to the top 10 would cost next years 1st. I'd rather pray Thomas is still there around 20 and use a 4th this year and a 3rd next year. I just think Brian Thomas would be special with Josh.
  6. Him choosing Peterman over rookie Josh told me all I ever want to know about McDermott's offensive prowess (or lack there of).....
  7. The problem with Sean and whatever legacy he has, will include the inability of any of his playoff defenses to come up with an impactful stop.
  8. So basically you can't start at the waist (from behind) and pull the player down. You have to slide down to his legs or ankles to complete the tackle. This is unbelievable and almost unenforceable? There's already like 5 different ways you can't touch the qb on release. A horse collar starts at the top of the body and bends the entire body in half. That makes sense. This is now telling the defensive player coming from behind that the waist (a perfect wrap up tackle) is off limits. If you want to add offense to a game, this will definitely do it.
  9. Diggs will need to be replaced very soon. We have no legit WR2 either. And Cook can't catch a ball to save his life. Those are 3 big issues. I'm tired of waiting around for this braintrust to get it right defensively. Especially in the playoffs. We need 2 more WRS, then you can go crazy again drafting failed defensive players all you want.
  10. Yes the days of coddling 1st, 2nd and 3rd round players is over. Trial by fire....sink or swim.
  11. They've been running the Titans & Cardinals game all week on a loop. Pathetic
  12. USC qbs are all busts.
  13. Just find a way to trade up for Thomas without giving away too much.
  14. He'd be a very good backup to DQ, considering the inconsistent garbage we saw from Settle, Ford, Phillips & Joseph.
  15. Yes, and considering the volume of quality wrs in this draft, we're looking to replace BOTH Diggs and Davis. Samuel is a nice signing but he's more a high end WR3. Shakir being a high end WR4. And personally I'm tired of worrying about whether Stef's head is in the game anymore. His playoff drop-off these last 2 years speaks volumes.
  16. I'm convinced we'll be giving Von, Dawson and Stef all June 1st cuts next year.
  17. There is 0% chance Franklin is still there @ 60. If we want Franklin, Coleman or Leggette it's going to be at 36. And if we want Sweat, you'll have to use a 4th to trade up higher than 60 in the 2nd. The 2nd tier wrs will come off the board early day 2.
  18. His ability will be somewhere between last olineman on the team to PS.
  19. Dream trade up but way too expensive. Go up a few slots to land Thomas. MHJ would be legendary with J17 but Murray throwing to him won't have the same impact.
  20. Knox will be missing alot more time June 1st, 2025. Other than just 2 tds, I was happy with his numbers and expect them to go up this season.
  21. Happy Birthday Sean...enjoy blowing out those 13 candles.
  22. When are we going to have a thread asking our playoff defense how hard they're going to work in the off season?
  23. All I know is this better be a 1 yr guarantee. We may need both a punter and kicker in 2025.
