So am I. NBA...everyone just shoot 3's.....MLB...everyone just hit dingers.....NFL....throw the ball on every down So just like baseball players use a shift, so do NFL players if they know every single play is a pass. Daboll's biggest problem is not whether teams have figured out his spread offense. It's figuring out what Olineman will play where?

Feliciano to IR; Jamil Douglas signed to 53

At this point I'll take Ritchie off the streets. I don't think Daboll has a clue what OL sequence is the best right now? That's why we've struggled lately. -
Harris Football: Top 5 SB Contenders right now
LABILLBACKER replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
The OL has to show me some heart Sunday. Brown should help. Our defense has been money. Figure out the cover 2 shell and take what they give us. If we can turn things around it will be us and Tenn. in the AFCC game. And probably Rams and Brady on the other side. -

Referee Tony Corrente corrupt as *****!!!
LABILLBACKER replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall
Of course. They can steer or choreograph any outcome they want to maximize the biggest SB matchup/revenue possible. They can cover up anything they want, including a stunt like Corrente. This year will be no different. I would be shocked if the Rams don't strole into the SB. And they'll guide the team with the most compelling narrative out of the AFC. Whatever qb generates the bigger rating score. -
Obviously losing Spencer Brown and Knox has a huge trickle down effect on how we attack the cover2 shell. Add Beasley hurt and having to count on Daryl playing his old position just killed us. Ford & Boettger were terrible and even Dion struggled a little. Morse is the only olineman who held his own. It wouldn't kill Daboll to occassionally use a "12 personel" formation. The problem is Sweeney sucks so maybe we take a stab at Gesecki next year?

The Packers or Saints made much more sense. Why get rid of DeSean Jackson if you're just going to turn around and acquire the same player? This will end just like Westbrook to the Lakers....badly.

Is the #1 seed that big of a deal anymore?
LABILLBACKER replied to streetkings01's topic in The Stadium Wall
Of course it is. You get a week off while the others beat the crap out of each other. Plus home field throughout doesn't hurt. -
Kurt Warner breakdown on Bills vsJaguars game
LABILLBACKER replied to Buffalo Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Finally saw first half replays of Williams and Klein unsportsmanlike penalties. Both did absolutely nothing illegal, pure phantom calls. And Tavon Austin was the one who held Tre. -
Considering how McD buried Yeldon last year, I wouldn't hold my breath seeing Breida play much this season. There's just as few holes in the D gap as there are on the A gap. I could easily see us having 3 new RB's next year to go with new olineman.

All-22 Grades for Bills/Jaguars (The Athletic)

We gotta throw a little money at Gesecki next year. Pair him with Knox and say goodbye to Gilliam and Sweeney. -
Calling all RB and OL Gurus, Your Input Please
LABILLBACKER replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
We have 5 finesse olineman. We need 5 road graders. Brown is the closest guy we have as a mauler. It's been so long I don't even know what play action looks like anymore. -
Perfectly said....with JA we're 11th in rushing...without him we avg 79 yards per game with our 2 blind mice.....29th in the NFL. Most of Josh's yardage are on "run for your life" scrambles. Both our OL & RB's are terrible. And Daboll knows it. I just doubt there's a "shuffling of the OL" solution here before season ends. Brown going back to RT and DW staying at RG should help some. Maybe try Bates at LG? Josh was due for a bad game and his front 5 did him no favors.

Bobby Johnson: The Source of O-Line Issues (in my opinion)
LABILLBACKER replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Morse's play was commendable. But there were multiple atrocious plays by the other 4. Brown can't come back fast enough. Slide Williams to RG permanently. Put Bates at LG. Ford & Boettger need to sit. -
Sean McDermott press conference 11-10
LABILLBACKER replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm not....too many cliches from him. Find better olineman and this thing gets fixed. -
Take JA out of the equation on running stats. Just use our 2 primary backs. Then where do we rank? Half the time Josh is running for his life. Our terrible OL has already collapsed. I love the idea of occassionally using Josh as a running weapon but Daboll uses him constantly because he knows our OL/RB combo is worthless. One of these plays has going to get popped and be out for the season.

ESPN Rest of Season Predictions
LABILLBACKER replied to First Round Bust's topic in The Stadium Wall
I can live with Morse and a weakened Dawkins, but Ford, Feliciano, Boettger and Williams need to be replaced or at least benched. Play Bates somewhere, play Doyle, play Douglas, I don't care. Just stop trotting these guys who can't run block or pass protect anymore. Spencer hurry up and return. No way we go 7-2 in these last 9.
