It's kind of pointless to even discuss RB's until we revamp our OL. I'd lean Hines because I think he'll come slightly cheaper and he's locked up the return position. We'll acquire another rookie contract rb or 2. Sean fix the damn OL.

Our OL has been ass since 2017. Our HC could care less about offense other than telling Josh to do it all. This will always be McDermott's legacy.

Until McD completely upgrades the OL once & for all (6 yrs), you will continue to see Josh pressured or running for his life. You will continue to see the already mediocre run game abandoned. And of course 9 drop Gabe needs to move to WR3 permanently as we hopefully draft WR2? Defensively without Von, the 3 boys are basically worthless. Groot doesn't get 8 sacks and AJ 6 without Von. Without a killer pass rush the Tampa 2 zone completely falls apart.

His days as DC should be over. I don't think McB has the stones to do it. Maybe he'll retire?

Hines slipped on all his kickoff returns. Cleary the cleats selection was wrong. I just think the days of the Bills having some advantage in bad weather is over. Regardless of wind, rain or snow. With as much as we throw and as little as we run, it's pointless to think it favors us.

Every modern rule change in the last 10-15 years has drastically benefited the offense. You can't breathe on the qb anymore. You can't hardly touch wrs. Why do you think there are fewer defensive HC's than ever.

As far as both trenches go, the Bills scouts might be some of the worst in the league.

Another great write up OP. I like Rice alot especially if he comes in under 4.45. Not a fan of keeping McKenzie. That ship has sailed. No FA's have any appeal to me also. Beasley, Brown, Crowder, Kumerow and Sweeney all gonzo. Patmon maybe stays as insurance. Draft a 2nd wr later. Trading up for Quentin Johnston would be too costly unless he falls?

I think the game would've been somewhat closer with a healthy Von, Micah, Tre and Daquan. But that's assuming no one's injured. We would've still lost because the defensive philosophy is extremely flawed. From here on out regular season defensive accomplishments should be taken for a grain of salt. 4 straight defensive meltdowns in the playoffs is not a coincidence.

Thank you. It's obvious to everyone. We need a Waddle/ Chase type to compliment Stefon. Gabe is really a natural WR3 and Shakir would slide into WR4 permanently. But not having a true #2 puts way too much pressure on Diggs & Josh. And on top of everything these incessant deep throws need to be reduced. Never thought I'd ever say that with hand canon as the qb.

Unfortunately I think our first SB window (21 & 22) has ended. Josh's contract begins. Who knows how productive Tre, Von and Micah are after their injuries? After Diggs, the offensive pantry is empty. Our stubborn coaches can't be trusted in game situations. I'm sure they'll be a 2nd window in a couple years but it will require many things beginning with a full commitment to surrounding Josh with everything. Starting with an OL and rookie contract wrs.

It didn't matter whether they lost or gained weight. Neither can get to the qb. They're just not good enough. The Bills have had a substantially below average OL since McD took over 6 years ago. I think the last thing he values on this team is OL.

This embarrassing zone will always give up a positive outcome unless we acquire Aaron Donald and Nick Bosa to play with Von. You literally have to have an all Pro front 4 for the Tampa 2 to work. Rousseau, AJE and Boogie will never be those guys.

So called "Dominant" defenses don't get thrown around like rag dolls every year in the playoffs. This idea that we somehow have a top 10 defense during the regular season was a masquerade. At this point F the defense. Put 100% of your draft and resources into surrounding your #1 asset. It's not like we're going to stop anyone defensively in the playoffs, ever.

This organization (McBeane) has failed Josh in every way you can handcuff a generational qb. They've wasted 6 years failing to build a decent OL. They failed finding Josh a capable RB. They have nothing at WR past a frustrated Diggs. I took nearly 3 years for Knox to stop dropping balls. Meanwhile McDermott's defense might be one of the most over- rated defenses ever. After Miller & Milano it's a wasteland. So far no impact coaches fired. It's status qou time in Buffalo. Just tell JA to go out there next season and do it all. What could possibly go wrong.

The only slight chance at a SB would involve Frazier & Dorsey leaving.
