  1. What's terrifying is this current coaching staff wasting the first decade of Josh's career. Settling for nice regular seasons only to quickly get bounced in the playoffs. At one point I thought we'd win 2 SB's with Josh. Now I think we'll be lucky to win 1.
  2. The only reason Epenesa got the sacks that he did was because Von literally chased guys right into him. If we can keep Gabe as a long-term WR3 at a reasonable contract, I will be satisfied. It's just so infuriating that our people are smart enough to draft guys like Teller & Hodgins yet too dumb to keep them.
  3. Kelce, Kittle and Gronk are all drunk frat boys.
  4. Spencer's footwork is way too slow. I think they'll experiment with him at RG. Then sign McGlinchey or Taylor at RT. Bates to LG which should help Dawkins. We'll still need to draft 2-3 olineman.
  5. I don't care anymore about all this who's better crap. Josh has the weakest supporting cast by far. All 3 are amazing. Hopefully this next season will be missing all the insane drama.
  6. Cincy gets eliminated. Patricia loses another SB. Win...win
  7. Wow the refs totally ignored 2 penalties on that return. Clearly the Shield wants state farm.
  8. Does Romo get a subsidy every time he says "Jim"....
  9. ...and still broke thru....he is insanely great.
  10. Dorsey is closer to Hackett than Shanahan.
  11. Good Lord somebody get Josh a real OL....McGlinchey, Taylor, Risner....just go out and spend on OL. Be creative finding cap room. Obviously our OL scouts suck.
  12. Exactly, they've clearly identified Groot, Von, Jones and Ed as their top line. But playing the scrub 2nd line 40% of the time just kills this team.
  13. Like Beane has any say in the defensive selections. Spare me. Defensively McDermott might as well be the GM.
  14. Just Milano and White. Sorry no one else. Edmunds too inconsistent and the jury is still out on Oliver, Groot & Elam.
  15. The window for the ultra athletic running version of Josh is 5 years. The pocket passer version should be good till 35/36ish. And if these coaches refuse to get him OL help, those numbers all decrease.
  16. Rooting for rematch of SB 16 & 23. This time Cincy winning. SF has enough Lombardis.
  17. The bottom line is Josh is a once in a lifetime generational talent. He's asked by his coaches to be 85% of the offense based on his surrounding support system. Josh with all his amazing athletic ability does his best to be Superman. But the coaching asking this of him is both foolish, selfish and unsustainable. The goal for every team should go beyond settling for playoff appearances.
  18. I'll take #3 for $500 Alex...joking aside it was an odd pick that turned into a terrible pick. Could've taken OG Dylan Parham who went next pick.
  19. I have no doubt Hamlin returns as our backup FS. The odds of commotio cordis happening again are 1: 1,000,000. This upcoming season will be Hyde's last so we'll probably draft a S late.
  20. Firstly I'm happy we don't have a meddling owner. And I'm not naive enough to think McDermott isn't calling the shots. Beane may be the one physically making the picks but I 100% guarantee you Sean is heavily involved in the selection of ALL defensive players. He let's Beane select the offensive guys. Picking up Von was not a bad move albeit expensive. Just bad luck (billsy) that he got hurt. The failed defensive draft picks fall on Sean.
  21. 1. OL 2. Coaching 3. WR
  22. Dude you're not wrong and I agree with everything in your post. They'll always be those loyal to McD because he dug us out of the drought. And for that I'm thankful. You either build your team around Josh or you don't.
