When can we start to admit that the process failed?
Boatdrinks replied to ShipUPride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You could, but games go back and forth and 19 points on the road is a good effort. The goal line stops allowed the offense to even have a chance. If you’re expecting a 16 point output to win games in today’s NFL you won’t be very happy. Have to look at the overall picture. The D did their job today, the offense did not. -

I’m not sure fans are overreacting here. The offense has been a problem all year, and continues to be. Teams that produce offense occasionally have bad games and I understand that. The Bills performance has been consistently sub par. The defense isn’t perfect, but they don’t give up more than 20 points very often. The Bills cannot lose games when they don’t. 16 points doesn’t cut it, and they had possession of the ball at midfield with over 1 minuet left and a time out. I agree they don’t run enough, especially with Singletary. -
Their defense is better than the Bills , yes. Their offense still only scored 10 points, but I like the WRs, running game and overall scheme better than Dabolls. Sure, the results would probably be better with one of the most talented QBs in the NFL today. Short of trading for one of those, Daboll needs to go. The talent level isn’t quite there, but his schemes and game plans make little sense.

They won due to their defense and the coaching staff is better than the Bills. Can’t agree on Rudolph though. He made a lot of mistakes, took a safety and had a fumble returned for a TD. He’s a mediocrity at best, but credit goes to the Steelers organization overall. Many teams would win 2-3 games after losing their QB for the season.

I’d tend to agree. They’re still contenders for.a WC this season because of their D, and they can run the ball. Whoever QBs that team next year doesn’t affect this year.

One forced turnover by Bills D in five weeks

This ^^^ Defense is definitely not an elite group, but it’s more than good enough . Offense can’t score more than two TDs most days, and Daboll has no idea what a running game looks like. -
It was out there in full display today. The Bills don’t have much talent to go around on offense, and the OC doesn’t have a clue. The D is solid and doesn’t give up a lot of points. They also don’t have an elite rusher, and don’t force many takeaways. The team is exactly what their record says they are right now. They beat less talented teams, and lose to teams with more talent. Even those having bad seasons.

Maybe, but who cares? Ben hasn’t retired and they’re in the mix this season now. That’s all that matters really.
-
Steelers D is legit and have talent. That’s not culture winning today.
-
If you’re sighing over a MIA two game win streak, then the Bills really have problems and are further away than anyone thought.
-
Goff just isn’t all that. Not worth the $$ and hasn’t been since late last season.

Rudolph has accounted for 9 of the Rams 12 points today. He wouldn’t be loved in BUF
-
Yah, could have called PI there for sure. But why go for that when you just need a first down ?
-
That was a drop and at least one other downfield ( McKenzie or Roberts ?)
-
Bills will win few of their remaining games because the offense is putrid. Daboll is a complete fool, they don’t run the ball very well, and have no WRs after Brown and Beasley. They might be able to handle MIA and NYJ et home. Denver would be the other possible win after those two. That’s 9-7 at best and not good enough for a playoff spot.
-
Lol. Steelers defense is legit though; better than the Bills. If Rudolph was a Bill he’d be run out of town already.

Yeah, Bills haven’t gotten decent ones in awhile. My fave on CBS is Ian Eagle, and he hasn’t called a Bills game yet this season iirc.Edit : New England game maybe ? Salute to service -
For what it’s worth... lol

He needs to execute the game plan he’s given by the coaches with precision and not make mistakes. If it’s a run heavy game plan due to matchups on the field, it doesn’t matter what his total passing yardage is or anything like that. Just needs to make the attempts he has count, and get a win. -

We will see what today’s results are. Sure, Foster is a ST gunner but he needs to produce in the passing game. I can see giving him a pass with the wind constrained aerial attack of the last couple home games. If he’s silent today things could change. As for Duke, he didn’t do a lot vs MIA and that could be working against him. -

Seems right in line with typical NFLN coverage.
