TBSaturday 1993 Buffalo Bills
Boatdrinks replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills were most recently 7-3 in 1996 season, though. -
Not “ homophobic” lol...( I’m okay with gay marriage and I’m an atheist btw) Pete can be as gay as he wants, I just won’t vote for him to be in the White House. Yes, I voted for Trump and I’m fine with him as the US President. I will vote for him again as the lefties ideas are off the deep end.

Nah, that’s not it. Go to any other NFL stadium and the shortcomings of NEF are glaring. Just went to MIA game ( stadium not even that new ) and it puts ours to shame. Wide concourses, clean accessible bathrooms with plenty of space to get in and out AND get food at the concessions all in time to get back to your seat for the second half. At a Bills game, leaving your seat begins a long journey. The concourses are too narrow and you’re smothered at all times, walking with baby steps to get anywhere. It’s about comfort, not gimmicks. Of course, a covered stadium is needed in the terrible WNY weather.

Two dudes in the White House going to events as a couple ? No thanks, not who I want representing the USA.

Of course they make mistakes; who said they don’t ? I’ll still take that ( fwiw) over Joe Anyfan who considers himself an expert on the interwebs. -
Brandt: "People are crazy to tell Josh Allen not to run"

I don’t doubt this one bit. They’re obsessed with the Patriots every waking moment. -

I agree with this line of thinking. Use his unique skill set to get wins. Way too much consternation out there about his running. Perhaps there is no real correlation with injuries and scrambling, but over time the hits add up. So what? Maybe that means a QB like Allen won’t play until he’s 40. Just win games however you can. I don’t think the Ravens are concerned that Jackson won’t be able to do what he’s doing now when he’s 33. The game is changing, so maybe we can dismiss some of the stringent notions of what a modern day QB has to be. -
I think you’re correct, ( without checking) believe it was Sammy Winder. Killed us with draw plays all day. Crazy how long ago that was, but the memory is still fresh. That game changed the course of the entire ‘90 season imo.

Lol, this is true. I recall watching WGRZ TV newscast that night and Ed Kilgore said it was a game “ the Bills probably didn’t deserve to win” . Ridiculous

Refs for the Bills game are... (updated weekly)
Boatdrinks replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Boger is generally fair and his crew calls things pretty evenly. I’ve even seen his crew flag the Pats* for holding, rare in the NFL these days. Not a bad group, but led all crews in flags per game last season ; about 5 more per game than the average. -
Unforgettable ending. It went from an almost certain loss to a crazy comeback win. A scoring flurry for the Bills with 3 TDs in a span of just 77 seconds.

revisiting 2018 draft possibilities. Did we overpay?
Boatdrinks replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who’s going to be doing all this learning ? Fans don’t make the picks. If too many wrong moves are made, those who make them will pay with their jobs. It’s still too early to say if that will happen here. I have to concur with the thinking that L Jackson is running an unorthodox, creative scheme. The Bills don’t have those coaches, and would probably want him to be a pocket passer. Most NFL types don’t think outside the box in that way, as seen during the combine prior to that draft. Many though of Jackson as a WR at the NFL level. Bills fans will know a lot more at the end of the 2020 season, and it may be that Beane and co are on the hot seat by then. -
2019 Playoffs. 1st round
Boatdrinks replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Probably not a lot of players on either team that actually played in that game. -
No. It will be a great day when it happens , but it’s not quite at that point yet.

No right to free expression while on the job. Aside from that fact, his ideas are wrong, misguided and the “ racism” angle is completely overblown. The vast majority of the population are not racist. A tiny percentage of racist nut jobs out there, and a few bad cops.

Rational Thoughts after the Browns
Boatdrinks replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree the Bills don’t have to coaches you want for QB development. Mahomes and Watson are better than Allen and would be in Buffalo as well. Jackson I think is unique, and needs exactly what the Baltimore coaching staff is doing to have success. He’d be the proverbial square peg with the conservative coaching he’d get here. -
Top ten veteran FA bargains(3 bills make list)
Boatdrinks replied to Stank_Nasty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Has a lot to do with the QB and the (defensive minded ) HC. Throw in McDaniels ( underrated) and that’s why. No mystery to it.
