Isn’t GB already a SNF game? As for flex candidates I’d look to Pats or Dolphins games.

Did we just teach the NFL how to defend against KC?
Boatdrinks replied to PrimeTime101's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed , both pretty weak calls. -
Will this be the year Josh Allen joins the 5000 club?
Boatdrinks replied to Lost's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think he could still do it, but the weather in OP - with much of our home schedule yet to play - will be a limiting factor for sure. -
It has its risks , but I think it’s reserved for huge games like this or playoffs. Basically win at all costs moments , they / he feels it’s worth the risk.

If it was that easy, every team would be shutting down/ limiting Kielce. It’s just not. That’s why he’s a great TE. -

Pretty sure the Bills jammed him at the line and got flagged for it ( bad call but still ) -
Trade Deadline (Nov 1) Bills Rumors / Speculation
Boatdrinks replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
KC just freed up some cap space by reworking Kelce’s deal. Hmmmm could that be for OBJ? I don’t see them being interested in McCaffrey -
Must admit I love when Nance and Romo call our games…

Hmmm, interesting. I love Ian Eagle, he brings a big game excitement with his emphatic play by play style. Not a huge fan of his partner Davis, but Eagle is my favorite. I’ve warmed up to Nantz lately though; was never a big fan but he’s been a pleasant surprise on Bills games. -

Probably confused by Nance’s mustard. -

Hmmm… Belichick style pickup. -
Would never happen even with a dome … not enough hotel space for starters.

What song describes how you feel about tomorrow's game?

I love Rush, but even they would tell you Tai Shan is the worst song they ever put on an album. -
Please don't have refs play a role on Sunday
Boatdrinks replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
That one wasn’t as questionable as many have made it seem. There were a few questionable hits on Allen earlier in the game that the refs let slide. The one that was called was a full wrap up and takedown well after Josh had clearly thrown the ball. The official ( correctly imo) threw the flag because the defender didn’t need to throw Allen to the ground but did anyway. Just a dumb play. It was a critical point in the game time wise , but it was also first down. That’s a huge difference from Sundays Brady joke call where he was in the pocket and still possessed the ball. For Boger to call that “ unnecessary “ is a travesty as the rules call for tackling the ball carrier. -
I concur on Manning vs Brady. As for last season, a win vs Colts would have given the Bills home field vs KC for the playoff game as well. You could actually look at ANY loss the Bills had last year and say that , even an NFC loss though I don’t think they had one. You could put the MNF debacle back New England in there too. Loss to the Jaguars counted the same as all of them. While losing to say, the Packers is not as critical as a head to head to KC, it could still foil the quest for overall HFA.

The AFCW as a division isn’t living up to the prognostications, that’s for sure. I’ve already written that possibility off. By knock them off, I’m referring to the playoffs. A Chiefs loss in a sudden death one game scenario like a playoff game is probably the best chance for the Bills not to face KC in the playoffs this season. A Bills win vs Titans or Colts would have resulted in the same scenario , because the head to head win is the first tiebreaker. They were a VERY big deal in the Bills not having home field for the playoff matchup.

The Bills went to Arrowhead last year because they didn’t have a tied record with the Chiefs, so the head to head didn’t come into play. Pinning it on one particular loss is silly. They were blown out by the Colts, lost at TEN etc. A different outcome in any of those games would have counted just as much in the final standings.

That’s what happens when you’re good. -
New offensive wrinkles for the Chiefs defense this week
Boatdrinks replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree. I’d venture that Dorsey, McD, Frazier et al worked on things in the offseason for 2 games : LA opener and this week. -
I get the point, I just disagree ( maybe) on the value. Yes a lot of unrealistic suggestions on this board. I don’t think he fetches a 2nd if moved though. It won’t be a 6th either : that’s ridiculous.

It definitely is. He’s an elite player, just at a somewhat devalued position in todays game. That has an effect on value.

Me too. I mean there’s nothing wrong about what he said on its face. It just gives you a little window into who the person is inside. I want my QB to be cocky on the field - and Josh is, but I believe he has some humility too. No one would turn down having a great QB on their favorite team and I’d be no different with Mahomes. I just like Josh better on the field and his personality. Mahomes has to make himself the center of attention, even when paying another player a compliment - he brings it back to himself . I get the impression he feels compelled to outdo Josh week by week with TD #s etc. etc. It just makes Josh an even easier guy to root for and Im glad he’s the Bills QB.

WR, pass rusher , elite DB… apples to oranges here. RB just not a premiere position in NFL anymore.

It’ll be white on white , but no White.
