  1. I know we've heard the Nathan Peterman saga 100 different ways, but I still find it hilarious. That hype video was great!
  2. I'm sure that Beane and Mcdermott have a vision for the team long term. It's hard to to get thrilled about it when we're scoring 11 PPG. If the "process" requires bottoming out, it's quite risky. Think of all the variables that happen in the league with injuries, holdouts, coaching staff turnover, etc. When you are a bottom feeder, all of those variables are magnified.
  3. He's the most exciting QB to come into the league since Cam. Sure, he has a good situation, but make no mistake, he can throw with tremendous accuracy and anticipation from anywhere on the field. That never goes out of style!
  4. Agreed. The weather coming off the lake would wreck every QB not named Patrick Mahomes.
  5. Nah, let's go all in on the "run the ball and play good defense" route. Build an open air stadium right on the lake.
  6. I guess we see what we want to see. He is blowing the doors off every elite QB in the league. I think he'd be great in any scheme.
  7. A successful rebuild would require several top tier players who aren't even on the team. Think about that.
  8. John, I get your point, but you are not talking about a guy with middling success. He is absolutely demolishing the league. He will likely finish with 45+ TDs in his first full season. 45+!!!! I doubt you will find any player in the league history who was this good this early and then just fell back to mediocrity. If he lost 25% of his production, he'd still be a the lead MVP candidate! We talk about Josh improving with playing time, is Mahomes not able to make the same strides?
  9. Because the offensive cornerstone pieces are not on this team. Maybe Josh and Dion can become those pieces long term, but they are both big question marks.
  10. Those guys has 30 and 21 total TDs in their first full season. . Mahomes already has 24 TDs in 7 games. That's pretty much the point. My goodness, does anyone here even watch the guy play?
  11. Wade will also allow elite players, like JJ Watt, Von Miller and Aaron Donald, to deviate from the play call and move across the defense as they see fit.
  12. You need players that fit into your long term vision*. If it's a run heavy team and your vision is an explosive passing attack, yeah, you're going to let some guys go. *That vision could be flawed.
  13. I don't even know what The Process is anymore. Is it building a consistent championship contender with appropriate talent & scheme, or bumbling around scoring 3 points with some old timer you picked up from Cabo? Seriously.
  14. We've been spoiled by the Rams and Bears offensive turnarounds, but it's extremely difficult to replicate. There are only so many qualified prospects and quality free agents to go around, and the Bills aren't the only team with draft picks or money to burn. If we're going to create a dominant offense, it's going to take some time.
  15. If this was all part of "the process", then Mcdermott and Beane are playing with fire. We are averaging 11 points per game. QBs, playmakers, offensive line, scheme/play calling are all terrible. I don't know how you could see such an offensive atrocity and think that this staff knows how build a consistent championship contender.
  16. Of course, but none of those moves have paid dividends (yet). We all know that it will ultimately come down to the success or failure of Allen.
  17. I'm getting real nervous about Mcdermott. Is he ever going to be able to develop a top tier offense? Hope is fading....
  18. Thanks to Derek's contributions, we are at 3 TDs and 12 INT for the season. Geezus.
  19. Disagree. We're not good enough to take that mentality. If there is a CB or pass rusher you can envision in a gold jacket, you take them. I get the need for offensive help, but we need more elite talent. The only player we can put in that class right now is Tre White.
  20. Not to mention you are missing out on some great talent! The best players go early, period.
  21. If I was a betting man, I'd say the NFL record holder for catches will be just fine.
  22. He has 75 million reasons to stay in Cleveland. Fallen off a cliff? No K-9, that's what Kelvin Benjamin has done. By New Years, Landry will put up his usual 80+ catches and 1000+ yards. Business as usual.
